Sword of the Philosopher
The first step towards avoiding ruin
"Can you give me a minute?"
"Hmm?"
Turning around, Richard looked at me with a hard look on his face.
"... somehow, something about you"
"Oh."
"In the future... a long way ahead, but I have a feeling we're going to fight a mighty enemy"
- That's a lot of abstract remark.
"Is that about the Demon King?
"Demon King... I guess so"
Vague reply. frowning, he further stated.
"No, I don't think there's anything more than a demon king in common sense..."
You mean the power of prophecy worked and there was something to think of as him?
"... I'll keep that in mind."
That's how I answer and walk away. A voice came from Gark as he tried to leave the fort.
"You were funny, Jen."
"Oh... and I also found that the Southern invasion was a nasty battle"
'Do you have measures?
"We're gonna have to do a lot of things... Raefin, how's it going around there?
When I ask the question, Raifin appears directly next to me and starts talking.
"As far as Richard is concerned, the battle in the south seems to be quite difficult... and we need to take more action against the Demons than ever before"
"Can the Raifins help us?
"Whatever."
You've got three things to do.
Gark says.
"Weapons creation and magic sealing. And counter-invasion measures in the south... none of which is an immediate problem. '
"I guess what we can put behind us in this is weapon creation."
I respond to Gark's words.
"There is a time limit on the magic of the Demon King and the invasion of the South. The Five Demons are the three that remain, and if we destroy two of these, we will have a southern invasion, and if we get over it, we will have the mighty magic of the Demon King waiting for us... we can think of these two as interlocking, so we have to take good care of them before we defeat the Five Demons."
Worst of all, weapon creation can be done after two events... when I was thinking about it, Raefin asked me a question.
"Dear Luon, I'm talking about when the Demons pushed us from the south, but in the story, naturally humanity was the spindle of battle, right?
"Right."
"Then it's no surprise that there are people who will be allies"
"Oh, the person is decided"
When I said that, I kept thinking about the upcoming events.
"Actually, there is something that its allies are involved in the events I want to interfere with. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm flying the demon to observe it, so if anything happens, I'll know soon enough."
"Really... there is also the means of revealing who Sophia is and collecting soldiers, but you will still need to hide that she is alive... given the battle against the Five Demons and the timing at which you can publicly reveal Sophia's qualities, I also thought it could be a situation where you don't have time to collect soldiers. One hand may be to form cooperative relationships with and respond to such allies."
"You sure do. Which way, I was going to get involved with the Alliance Lord. I just wanted to talk to you about the timing of the event."
- While we had that conversation, I had to go back to my hometown.
I was thinking it was time to go back to Garnise because I was almost done with my errands, but the last thing I wanted to do was do one thing.
Back in town, I'll visit my original Richard again and go to the inn. But walking around town in his absence, Lete and I discovered where we were walking.
"Hi."
"Oh, Mr. Luon. What's the matter with you?
I just wanted to ask you two a few questions.
Saying so, Richard tilts his neck.
"Questions?"
"More demons could invade in the future... in which case I wonder what I would do"
According to Richard, who was at the fort, they were moving to avoid rather than fight the Demons. Whether that doesn't change even with Richard in the fifth circle.
"... we may defeat demons at the behest of this town. But, you know, I mean, I think I'm pretty good at it."
The word would mean moving to avoid it in the same way.
"Right..."
I guess Richard in the fort is taking action on them more than he observes using the demon of use. But well, I thought I'd do something more than get involved this way.
"... thanks to this town for asking me to give you something."
"No, you don't have to do that."
"Besides, this is how we got along... there are times when I work too, so we might meet again in the future. Take it with me."
- That's what I gave you, an accessory that only slightly enhances your magic, and an emergency avoidable bracelet when it's in danger that you're also giving it to Sofia. Richard and the others seemed confused by my actions, but eventually they were to say thank you.
"Sorry, I don't know"
"You don't have to worry about it... both of you, stay well"
"And Mr. Luon."
"Oh."
Nod, I walk out. That's how I get out of town, and I try to start moving to Garnise.
On the verge of that, I felt signs and looked up into the sky. Richard's demonic bird was swirling so I could see.
"... thanks, I guess"
When I wave gently, the demon stops swirling and returns to town. After dropping it off...... I started the mobile magic chant again.
Pinch a break or something along the way and somehow come back to Garnise. At the time of arrival, it was the morning after I left my hometown.
Sophia and Silvi talking when they visit the training ground when the market on the street and so on opens up enough time for people to gather. And there was Elay watching over it.
"Mr. Ehrey."
"Hmm? Oh, you're back"
"What do you say?
"It would be complete for once. I guarantee it."
Then there's no doubt about it. When I approached Sophia and the others, Sophia raised her voice earlier.
"Welcome home, Master Luon"
"Oh... looks like you're done. And Sylvie, by the way?
"This one's good too."
"Then it's comforting... when do we leave?
"Rest today, even tomorrow"
To Sylvie's words I replied, "Okay." Sophia also endorsed - the training marked the end.
"If anything happens, come here and we'll talk"
Eli says. Sophia politely thanked her,
"Thank you so much"
"I don't mind...... I'm praying for good luck"
That's how we leave the training ground. So Silvi spoke up.
"Well, what are the plans from here... going to Undine's address, is that okay?
"Oh, right. Sophia, do you mind?
"Yes, gather information about the situation on the continent at the same time"
"Leave that to me."
Tightening her chest, Sophia said, "Please." Then today I decided to rest in preparation for tomorrow.
While I head to the inn, I start thinking. Meetings with Richard added further challenges. Nevertheless, you can say that you were fortunate enough to get such information.
The story is going on and on, more than destroying the second body of the five great demons. We still don't know at what point the third body is going to fight, but we could say that it plugged into the second half of the game as a scenario at the time of destroying it.
Ideally before the event to destroy the fourth body begins, I just want to be ready...... as a first step towards this, let Azua the Water King follow first.
The allies on the human side against the southern invasion have yet to move. While I thought I should keep an eye out for them in the future... I was headed to Undine's place with Sophia and the others.
