Sword of the Philosopher

Two achievements.

Stiff for a moment because Kuuza let go of his wand was just an act. But as soon as I returned my gaze, the light was coming from his left hand.

"First of all, this is it"

The color of light is gold. Sparkling and glittering, it takes shape and turns into a weapon that I can clearly understand too.

"A bow."

"Correct."

On the left hand side of Kuuza is a bow. Plus an arrow on your right. It's just...

"... Kuuza, could you use a bow?

"No, not at all"

In an unexpected response, I make my shoulders feel a little cocky.

"Oh, hey. If you can't use it, why do you have a bow?"

"I keep my magic in my arms when I use magic"

Block these words, and Khuza speaks out.

"As Mr. Luon knows, I can activate junior magic practically unchanging. The primary reason for this lies in the fact that we are skipping the process of accumulating magic in both arms and drawing magic from within our bodies. Whatever it is, we need all sorts of methods to use it magically."

... It's easy to say, but you probably can't even imitate it. Is it the technique that Kuza acquired after his research?

"So, I came to the conclusion that how do I shorten it further - not in my body, but with my magic exposed outside"

"So, bow?

"If you think about what a weapon to use with both hands is and attack from a further distance... all you had left was a bow"

I'm sure if I could muster magic in both hands, I could have done it any way. The bow was adopted because of the ease of image and the quick acquisition of the technique.

"So, what are we gonna do?

"Well, here we go."

To my inquiry, Kuuza told me - to connect the arrows.

Immediately after, with no motion to pull the bow or release his hand at all, the arrow was released.

"Wait a minute! Wouldn't Kuza move himself?!?"

"Naturally. I can only remember how to use a bow in the first place as much as I saw in the academia coach."

It doesn't even look good - and when I try to put a scratch in it, I realize it.

A dozen arrows are released at once, coming towards us.

"That's a nasty attack...!

While smiling bitterly, he sets up his sword and plays the arrow. It's probably an application of the fire attribute inferior magic 'Flame Needle' from the feel of magic. That's probably why there are so many arrows.

Kuuza then releases a yellow arrow. This is probably 'Thunderbolt' - is it due to the image of a bow and arrow, the magic is all in the shape of an arrow and there is little change in appearance.

"Unleashed by arrows are only those equipped with the magic of lower magic"

Kuuza provides commentary.

"For once, it compresses magic compared to when it normally exercises magic, so it may be more or less powerful, but it's still slight"

More arrows while talking. Ice, wind, flames... all sorts of arrows are pointed at me, bouncing it back.

"But if it's a normal demon, it should work well enough"

"Sure you do."

I answer by bouncing the arrow straight ahead. So Kuza's movement stopped.

"What's up?

"… and this is the basic ability"

I guess it means there's an application too - when I thought, Sophia, who was watching the game, raised her voice.

"That arrow, no way -"

"That's the thing, Mr. Sophia. I think Mr. Luon will soon find out if he explores the signs around him."

I was told, I looked around - and I noticed.

The rain of the earlier arrows makes me see some choices on the ground or traces of the arrows piercing. I don't know what they mean.

"... Magic Formation, huh?

"I can't say formation, but I punched my magic into the ground. I can activate a little trick."

Say no, suddenly my feet glowed.

Reflectively barrier and yet move to get out of the light. But the next moment, a spear-like light stretched out of his feet.

It follows me - I just shake it off with my sword. The prospectus was successful and managed to be addressed by the nagging.

"... it's just that this one's just incomplete."

Light goes out while Kuuza explains. The effect time seems to be much shorter.

"If it's true, I'm going to unleash even more powerful magic while I activate and stop these magics, but it's still unfinished, too"

"Isn't that the trump card?"

"Don't be like that...... that's it for me. Silvi's next."

Lightly Kuuza gives way to standing position. That's how I confront Sylvie - but here I think.

If she had mastered an inherently advanced move - a 'moment' in the game that had the power to break -

"Shall we begin?"

Silvi pulls out his sword. Is it because the belligerent eye wants to try moves and can fight me?

"... you should set it up from there"

I observe Silvi when I tell him unilaterally. I'm not converging magic... no, you're doing something on a level I can't feel?

Silvi runs while the doubts are endless. The first time I say hello, I'll try to prevent it gently.

Sylvie swallows her sword as it flows from there. I could understand that it just didn't look like I was letting it go at all, with a strong towing connotation.

It would mean that we are weighing the timing of delivering the results we learned at the academia. I will wait for Sylvie to attack and continue to receive the sword.

"- Huh!"

Silvi uttered a slight voice - more power in the fence, and a slight resistance to my sword to recieve.

I don't know what to do... that's what I thought, arrow tip, the sword was unleashed at an unparalleled rate until then.

"Oops."

But I'll try to prevent it. Silvi's sword stops with the loud metal noise and becomes a temporarily tempered shape.

"... you can't beat me if you fight for power or increase the speed of your sword"

"I know."

That's how Silvi answers the question.

"I'm sorry you dated me. I've been having a bit of a rough time working out my magic differently than before."

"I don't mind... but it looks like we're still far from done"

"No, I'm not."

Invincible grin. For a moment, Sylvie's body leans slightly.

Perhaps, until now, it was a move to get used to the elaborate magic. Now that we've done that, we're in an offensive position.

"The battle is for a moment."

Sylvie tells. Shortly afterwards, the ramblings push at me.

Obviously faster than normal continuous strike moves. Even if you try to turn to defense, a concomitant demon won't be able to do anything and settle in an instant.

This is definitely her strongest move, "One Moment". It's hard to tell if it's finished, but it's understandable that it still has a high attack capability.

Each shot of moves belonging to a serial strike system was not as powerful in the game. That exception was her 'one moment' and had so much extra-standard power that it seemed like it was a bug… but in the extreme, there were signs that it would reach it.

I react to it and take it with my sword. But even if you play it, the next sword pushes over, repeatedly playing it. From Sofia's or Kuza's eyes, it would be a flash of events. An amazing speed exchange took place between me and Sylvie - and eventually her sword stopped.

"Exactly, could you eat it"

"It could have been dangerous if I had taken it properly"

"I have that ability, and I say it often"

Silvi laughing bitterly. Draw a sword and give it a refreshing look.

"Satisfied. Some things are still missing, but enough is enough."

"If you use an earlier move, do you work out your magic differently than usual?

"Oh. I've never done this myself, so I struggled. It is difficult to use in action unless you increase the speed at which it is refined, but other abilities were also bottomed up by working out. It's a satisfactory result for me."

"Right..."

It didn't seem like "one moment" could still be used in action. But it is true that he has received the sword and that Silvi's abilities are definitely increasing.

"... Silvi"

"What's up?

"Take the sword, I've come up with it. I just want you to think a little bit about what Sylvie thinks herself."

"What's the matter with you?

I ask Sylvie, and I tell her to put down a beat.

"- I'm talking about Silvi's purpose. There is a place within this Kingdom of Nateria where we must go to form it"
