Sword of the Philosopher

A certain weapon

If we could maintain the magic of hiding the signs, it seemed unlikely that we would find out for now. I was surprised to walk in the castle at first... but eventually I keep my perimeter on guard and go as usual.

"I am not wary of Lord Luon, etc."

On the move, Garc starts talking.

"Even as Nehmeisa, I could not establish a way to perceive the magic of Lord Luon..."

"Right..."

I can't peddle the speculation, but at least at this stage there's no obstacle to me. Atmosphere that seems like something could be done.

"The other thing I can think of is, since these abilities of Lord Luon are out of standard, did you realize that it would be useless to take measures?"

"No use, hey. But assuming that's the case, what kind of behavior does Nehmeisa have... how does it feel to find out?"

"It will be true that we are trying to be quite prepared at a time when we are stretching our magic within the imperial capital. You may not be wrong to say that you are prepared enough to cope with exposure."

... I don't think all of that is a measure against me, but well, I know Nehmeisa is trying not to repeat her failures.

"I don't know if the magic of Lord Richard and the magic of Nehmeisa are the same, but if they are the same, there should be less magic every time you use them. I've been working on a lot to make it up to you... and it looks like you could even think about it '

"Indeed."

Proceed inside the castle while agreeing. Again, there is no equipment to detect magic... well there are many other executives besides Nehmeisa in this castle. Poor application of such equipment would mean suspicion......

"So, Lord Luon, where are you headed?

Garc's question. That's when the stairs to the basement were right in front of me.

"Down there."

"Is that the lab you were telling me about?

"Oh."

In front of the stairs there is a 'No entry except for those concerned' sign. As for the basement, it is also a place to be said to be the castle of Nehmeisa, and it is somewhat free to do so.

"There are people in and out, so I think you'll notice that other people are acting too suspiciously and things are not right... but I wonder if that means they're doing well around there too"

Start descending the stairs as you state.

I proceeded down the hallway and finally got into the inside of the lab...... looking around here.

"Somehow, don't be too alert"

"Isn't magic working? At least no one has done anything to blame Lord Luon since he entered the court."

I hope so... I look at the door directly in front of me.

I'll put my hands on the closed door. No traps at all. If I opened it and someone was there... it was my formula that there was a risk, but it would be deluded.

The door slowly opens. For one thing, there are no people around. Sometimes it's almost midnight, and the researcher seems to be already gone.

Is Nehmeisa still awake... I doubted it but go inside. Surprised at first glance is the number of bookcases.

The number of books so much as a library rather than a laboratory. If you look at the shelves, all of that is research material. Or it seems the data material the researchers did for you.

"This is all the research... a collection of research that Nehmeisa's been doing since before she started running wild"

Walk whining. I was being cautious not to make footsteps - that's when I found something odd behind the aisle.

"... what?

Dragon's neck, should I say? I saw that, so I approached him... and he was out of line.

"Dude..."

"This is interesting."

Gark says - there's a staircase to the side that leads down, and I can see the situation below it in a way that looks down from the high ground.

Perhaps it was an experimental site or something. The game also describes this place, where materials and other materials are scattered and floors and so on are burned by magic experiments, and so on.

But now it's used for slightly different purposes... not by the dragon's neck. Laboratory about the size of a little hall. A dragon big enough to cover that whole room...... that was right in front of me.

Naturally not alive. But like the real thing, it's going to work now.

"It's not a model or anything."

'I can feel the magic. Something like a man-made dragon.'

… a giant weapon, the expression seems appropriate. This stuff didn't appear in the game.

"Is this also one of the measures against us?

"It would be reasonable to think so"

There was a chance that Nehmeisa was more prepared than she knew we existed. That was a brilliant answer, but...

"It takes a lot of work to create and move this."

'Sure. But as for the power source, apparently we can explain one of the mysteries'

"Hmm? What do you mean?

'It is somewhat difficult to discern because it is almost hidden inside, but the magic that was undoubtedly present in the ruins of the angels is used'

That means angel magic to produce this weapon - this has been a pretty tough story.

"... even dragon demon stones would be used. Because there's an urgent need to get weapons."

'That's all there is. I think it'll take some time to get it moving. "

"Oh. But we should hurry"

Abel would be able to be strong in a short period of time, and do something about it before this weapon is complete......? Honestly, it's just an uncertain element, but you'd better hurry.

"If a weapon like this breaks out, that's what's going to do so much damage. You'd better move before Nehmeisa's plan is complete."

"Um, I agree with that"

... But how far is Nehmeisa getting ready? You should still think that you are using space-time magic to start over, than you have acted differently from the game so far. I don't know how I fought, but I must have been hit by quite a bit of Cotempan more than I've ever done so far.

"You grabbed one end of Nehmeisa's move. And the question is, is it to seal space-time magic? '

"It would not be so difficult for Nehmeisa to exercise her own magic if she used magic and other powers flowing beneath the Empire. This neighborhood is going to need to be discussed again."

Without the advice of Richard, who had the same experience, it seems like a difficult atmosphere to break through here. I just want to be well prepared.

"We must destroy all the measures of Nehmeisa, and yet we must not escape with space-time magic. So it's our complete victory we have to do."

'Uhm... what I don't know at the moment is how Nehmeisa uses space-time magic'

"I'm pretty sure I can't get ready right away. If you could do that, it wouldn't be weird to start over at a time when the Marquis is betraying you."

"And then, considering you've been notified to get the girl, you mean you haven't rolled back yet."

"I think so"

I heard footsteps from behind here that the problem was full of speculation...... I hide quickly. There's no better way to find out than by using the magic of hiding the signs.

"... ah"

I keep my voice down. It was two men who showed up. One is a researcher-like man in a white robe. And...

"What do you say, progress?"

"At this stage, it's about 40% complete."

- A man with a troubled expression for dark hair. The face belonging to the aesthetic form and the more attention paid to it is the emitting atmosphere. It's a terribly strained one and makes me feel like I'm constantly straining my shoulders.

Dressed in black aristocratic clothing - he was the Nehmeisa, the mastermind of this battle.
