Sword of the Philosopher

What's up ahead in the woods.

The next day, Sophia and I will begin to act quickly.

"Take care"

Von dropped me off. Sophia and I left the village behind. Because it is a wilderness, there is nothing that blocks sight, and you can tell from the entrance of the village that there is a forest of depression and trees on the north side.

"In the meantime, if you go up close and magically fly over the woods, you'll get to the other side"

"Right."

Sophia snorts...... I'm kind of really not nervous.

It seems that food is available if you put it in the woods on top of people, which makes it even less nervous that you won't have any trouble eating it. It's just that we're trapped here, and we need to find a way home and get in the mood... it's just that the Garcs will be looking into it, and there are researchers on this side. I'm not that worried.

So, as far as we're concerned, we'll start by checking where this place is... and when we reach near the woods, I'll use the magic of aerial levitation to get to the top of the trees.

"Hmm... that's huge"

The first thought that came out was that. Forests, woods, forests as far as I can see. Even what it continues to do is roll.

The eastern side is desert, so the boundary is... uh, the northeast is covered in woods. I don't know what's in the north, but thank goodness the north and south seem to be separated by the woods.

"Let's just head north."

That's what I say and get off. Sophia, who was waiting there, asks here.

"How was it?

"There was even a forest going on... but our magic of movement should push us forward at once"

"It would suck to see the ocean all the way through the woods like this..."

"Sure... If so, let's think about it"

So Sophia and I magically started traveling fast - over the trees, we even magically drove.

If you look backwards, the village disappears to the other side, and only a dark green forest continues around. I can't see the other side looking forward...... that's quite a distance away.

And I move my mind downstairs. There are no problems in the air because we do not see birds or other flying beings at all. On the other hand, according to Von, there are many demons in the forest... should we raise the altitude a little more and pay attention to demons?

When I thought so,

"Master Luon, may I have a moment?

Sophia told the lid. stop at the same time,

"What's up?

"Perhaps Master Luon was also wary of the woods downstairs...... you have an open space over there. Let's go down there once."

I said, "Okay," to Sophia's suggestion, to the target point. That's all the trees are interrupting. The earth's ground is peeking.

He says he went down to the ground once, but he sees signs around him...

"You're not here, demon"

"Yes, I haven't heard any animal ringing or anything at all, and it's terribly creepy"

I'll try to clear my ears. All you can hear is the sound of a leaf rub emitted by the wind and the trees.

If there are no animals, there are still no demons... different from the von story.

"You sure are creepy..."

"Yes. Apparently, something different is happening in this forest from what Mr. Von and the others have grasped."

An anomaly... If this is part of the forest or something, I can still see it, but if I can't feel signs of a demon or something even though I've magically flown this far, it's possible that this anomaly is spreading all over the forest. What that means is...

"I haven't been here long... but are you going to get in trouble soon..."

"It might not be a good idea if we don't get out of here early."

I agree with Sophia that I may be and fly again using magic.

And resume moving towards the north. The surrounding area is only widened by completely irreplaceable forests. We have to make sure we don't lose sight of each other.

"... hmm?

I found something in the woods... a building?

"Sophia, can you see me?

"Yes... sounds like a building"

There are still distances, but there are buildings that exceed the height of the trees. It's not a small house like it was in the village. Bigger...

Eventually, as we approach, we begin to understand what it is… it is -

"Castle, huh?

"Sounds like it."

Getting closer while we're having a conversation...... yeah, definitely. Castle.

The shades are based on blue and stand out a lot compared to the trees. Does having a castle mean there's a town or something?

"Sophia, naturally that castle was built by someone on this island or on the continent... probably"

"I think so. At least I don't think anyone who encounters a 'god hide' can build it."

Right...... Hmm, have you seen the light in this?

Is it that people in the castle didn't even get their hands on the south side because the demons were blocked by the trekking woods? However, I still can't think of a reason why there are no demons in this...... whatever, let's go over there first.

Even magic keeps flying and the castle grows bigger and bigger. But this certainly weighs heavily on the phones. Even if you could handle fast moving magic, if you can't control it for a long time, you just crash into the woods. Assuming there are no demons, if you go into this great forest, you're extremely likely to be unable to go home and wrecked. It's me or Sophia, so I'm doing something about it...

"Dear Luon... that castle..."

Sophia speaks up to the lid. I heard that too and watched and understood the castle.

It was hard to tell from a distance... but the castle seemed to have been destroyed for a long time.

"Waste castle?

"I don't know...... let's go close and observe anyway"

We have a conversation, and eventually - we reach the other side of the woods. From there, the plains continued, and further north, mountain ranges existed.

And a blue castle stretching out into the sky in front of me...... but its appearance was a lot worn out. But it's not like it's decaying. Debris is also present around the castle, but they do not appear to have aged.

"Not long ago, there was a fight... you mean?

"Sounds like it...... Dear Luon"

She points her finger. Beyond that was apparently a town-like place.

Apparently, I added for a reason. Due to the fact that the rubble of the building is quite scattered, it can be seen that the building was as dense as the town... it has been completely destroyed and there is not a single safe building.

"Thoroughly destroying the town so far... was the castle lord grudged"

"What do you think... Master Luon, the castle doesn't seem to be damaged enough to collapse, so why don't we come in"

"Well... there's no sign of anyone, so it might be hard to get information."

But this makes me worry about something else. Fortunately, there were no demons in the woods, but now the threat of attacking the castle in front of us becomes a problem... not necessarily without harming the most endless village that exists apart from the woods.

"Sounds like you're better off knowing what's going on in this place than getting information to get out of here."

"Of, sounds like"

Sophia agrees and starts walking. I followed her to the castle again.
