Sword of the Philosopher
In the darkness
'It is possible as a reason why an angel created such an instrument... but first this instrument would have been dug out of the ruins. I mean, an ancient angel made it. "
"There's no question there."
Agreeing, Garc said,
'Then they may have been trying to fight by involving many races, including humans'
I didn't talk to anybody. To put it this far, I could understand it.
"... with the star god, huh?
"I'm only talking about possibilities."
I see, for the ancient angels to confront the star god... according to the Anvelate story, the star god was a major research theme for the ancient angels. There are forces in it that try to overthrow them, creating weapons as a means of confrontation...... yeah, the muscles go through.
"But it's a lot more spectacular to involve not just angels, but humans."
When Sophia opened her mouth, Garc was overwhelmed to agree,
"She was not deeply involved more than what was said about the area from the mouth of the angel Anverate, but maybe it was a situation of persecution for those who focused on the star god in their research"
"When the angels were active, something happened..."
"Mm-hmm. That's only a guess. I don't even know if what I was concerned about happened as a result, and the truth is you're in the dark. '
"I just don't think it's a good situation, considering we were manufacturing weapons."
Snort at Sophia's words together. It's just...
'All I said was speculation. I mentioned it this way because it was a little hard to think of using humans in the battle between angels, but I'm not sure it has anything to do with star gods.'
"Right. But well, it seems highly probable... so the problem is the guy who's trying to do something by letting the demon have this..."
"It is good to assume that the demons that Lord Luon fought were themselves of the same ability as before. I made an unexpected attack simply because of the high ability of the weapon...... or so it would be '
Garc first supplements it that way.
'The question is human or demonic... honestly, if you are human, there is no reason for Lord Luon to be resented. Possible possibilities are people who believe in the Demon King... but it would be more reasonable to assume that the Demon King has perished than to think that way, but that his subordination has survived'
"I agree with you there."
Tune into the garc as Reese shrugged her shoulders.
"It's extremely annoying... but the question is, how will you fight after tomorrow?"
"I think I'm just gonna pull in for a while."
"We were able to analyze this force, and I think it's only natural to be vigilant for a while."
This is what Sophia said. Well, I don't think he's likely to set me up any worse than he's defeated twice.
We need to be vigilant, and the need to move around to protect other villages and towns comes up... but as an attacker, it comes from grabbing the other guy's tail, right?
"Do we investigate by the time reinforcements arrive?
"I don't know how much I look at the mountains, but I don't know if I'm gonna go out there and find out."
"At least I'd like to put it around where the demons appear."
These are Sophia's words. Sure. It's easier to do village defense, if you can guess for the most part, not locate it or anything.
"First thing tomorrow, we're gathering information."
Eina says. Have any demons come to other towns or villages...... right.
If it had been raided - I couldn't wipe my anxiety, but is it just too dangerous to take action within the night? I could have moved, but if I got lost, that would be a hassle, and I can't deny the possibility of another raid on this village.
"Village escorts are going to be up all night, okay?
Eina nods to my question... I'm worried about the knights too, but I can't take care of them until I'm feeling better, so let's leave them to it.
"Lady Sophia, rest."
That's what Eina said at the end. There was no anxiety, but Sophia seemed to follow suit at the time, so me and Reese agreed. I decided to go back to the private house I had rented.
After all, there will be no raids, and the night will dawn. The knights seemed quite tired, but those who rest and move know and gather information. I also participated in that and looked around at the villages and towns that existed around Spiritual Peak... but in conclusion, there was no damage.
I've been observing our trends from somewhere, and it seems to be a good interpretation that we did a night raid. The question is how should we move from here? We still have a few days before reinforcements arrive, so we don't have enough people to hunt mountains. Besides, it's not a good idea to behave in a detour because there could be another raid.
Me and Sophia can easily deal with being targeted, but I want to avoid damage to villages and towns... and as a result of all the troubles, I'm going to build a network where I can deal with demons even if they show up as messengers. The knights, including Eina, will be heavily labored, but let them be patient for a few days.
Regardless, they also sent soldiers and others from a town that existed in the neighborhood...... that evening they were in shape to deal with anything for the first time.
And as a result of gathering information, there was a presence everywhere around Spiritual Peak for examples of witnessed demons with weapons. If there was regularity or something at the spot of discovery, we might have been able to speculate about the enemy's whereabouts, but unfortunately that's not true either. Therefore, it is likely to take the form of a smudge crush.
The biggest problem is... whether I or Sophia will stay. I originally only came this far to pick a flower called Dragon Ringing Flower, so if reinforcements come, I can leave the investigation to you.
I thought I should stay because I have concerns about the strength of the demon... but the castle side also took the form of continuing the investigation. Apparently, the fact that my attack was bounced off is working.
If you consider the possibility that the other person is a demon race in the first place, you can't let him go wild... so the investigation continues. Sophia and Liese, of course, decide to stay and wait for reinforcements.
The enemy stopped moving for the first time because they figured out what we were capable of... but we can't keep gluing forever. We waited in anticipation of the enemy's whereabouts, considering the location of the demon… A few days later, reinforcements arrived.
