That Ordinary Mister is a War God

24. Emperor's troubles

The contemporary emperor has been in office for a long time and many of the children are adults.

(It's time to think about your successor...)

I felt heavier when I thought about it.

He has five sons and four are performing adult rituals, and he is in good standing.

My eldest son, Adrian, is impeccable in strength and desire, but he was a child of the Second Lady.

My second son, Rüdiger, tends to belittle the arrogant and underprivileged, although I think he has a standard class in his abilities.

As a parent I was anxious to entrust him with the next generation.

Still subject to comparison with Adrian, because he is the eldest son of the First Lady and hits the grandson of the Duke.

The Duke is not a foolish enough person to pinch his mouth regarding the Emperor's successor dispute, but his closest men and daughters, the Lady, are not.

He seems to be moving a lot in the shadows that he wants to make Rüdiger emperor somehow.

Adrian's grandfather, on the other hand, is only a marquis, and he is so disadvantaged in fighting forces with the Duke.

Furthermore, neither the Second Queen nor her father's Marquis seem to have the ambition to make his own son/grandson emperor with a mild personality, which makes an extra difference.

(Do you decide by ability and popularity? Or do you decide by force)

Once again, the emperor had a headache.

Although the emperor is an absolute power man in this country, it does not mean that it is okay to whisk the nobility of the support base.

It is a commoner who has nothing to do with nuisance even when it activates power.

He could not bear to burden the people with Meena being "cowardly".

(If Adrian's mother was the Duke's daughter... if Rüdiger was a more popular man...)

The emperor is in trouble enough to think of meaningless assumptions as boring.

"That's why. Any good wisdom, Claude?

It was Claude of Yagami Fai (Leviataine) he consulted.

"You're in trouble."

The man, who has been approached by unexpected consultation, leaks his candid truth.

"We are supposed to obey His Majesty the Emperor, but it should be a decision not to get involved in politics"

The emperor, who expected Claude's answer, says back.

"It's not like the Emperor is asking Yagami Fai. A man named Xavier is asking his Claude."

It's also a good point about the ban line.

Claude feels that's all his master is cornered, and decides to consult him.

"I know His Highness Adrian deserves the next emperor..."

"Then Rüdiger stays silent. Whatever he is, that mother's gonna make a scene."

Claude sympathized when he saw the emperor's exhausted face, but I think that's why he'd have trouble asking himself for his opinion.

"We have heard that the Duke who hits His Royal Highness's grandfather has no ambition. Isn't it easy for you to convince him?

"I tried, but it didn't work. My daughter scolded me with a huge sword screen to see if my grandson wasn't cute."

"That's..."

Claude couldn't find a word to call.

What can we do when the Duke is the biggest pillar supporting the First Lady and Lüdiger, but it is beyond the control of even that Duke?

"If you work on the proximity you know the Duke is against..."

"That's what happens when you fail."

The emperor answers with a sigh.

Something went wrong. Though they said it, it seemed like they were doing what they had to do for once.

That is why it is a blessing for Claude.

"But even in the present situation, where some shadow is glistening, is it contentious?

"So I don't think Rüdiger can, but he won't listen."

The emperor's words were increasingly mixed with anger.

Claude thinks it won't even be possible.

He also has the feeling that it's okay to ask someone as a mentor to think they have nothing to do with the disturbance.

"Still, it's troublesome that there are more aristocratic forces to support than His Highness Adrian. Is it because I can sympathize with His Highness Ludiger's thoughts?

The tender attitude towards the people of the contemporary emperor was confused or bought by some nobles.

They genuinely believe that doing so "raises the presence that should be ruled by the nobility".

The empire needed a number of nobles for the land to govern widely.

The decadence of the figure is the form of revenge.

As a nation, not everyone who operates is superior, even the strongest on the continent.

"Are they such cute balls? My head is more foolish and easy to maneuver, but I guess we think we can have delicious thoughts."

The emperor threw up.

I think Lüdiger's future is dark, not realizing the thoughts of the nobles and concerned that he should be exposed to the words of Ahju obedience.

And the First Lady who can't spot it.

"Your Majesty wanted His Royal Highness Adrian as Crown Prince?

"Oh."

The emperor answers the question directly from the front of Claude clearly.

With that in mind he gave his opinion.

"Then you may do so. If our Yagami Fai, the Sorcerer General and General agree, it will be difficult for His Royal Highness Ludiger and his supporters to overturn the noise."

"... I wanted to know if there was a plan to avoid it, but I don't think I could."

Claude nods silently at the emperor's words.

If even the Duke and his proximity cannot be contained, there will be no other way but to twist and twist.

"The key is to gather the support of Yagami Fai, the Sorcerer General, and the General."

"Manuel is from a commoner, and Bartolomeus will be fine because he enjoys living as a commoner. Wilhemina is wrong about Bartolomeus. The general comes from an area where there are many demons, and he said he was fighting with the people from when he was a boy, so he can have expectations. The rest of the men are the problem."

And when the emperor says, Claude gets a look.

"... If the four remaining Yagami Fai and the Mage Secretary support His Highness Ludiger, this country will break into two parts. Now I know why His Majesty was not on board."

He comes up with the worst and releases it as a word.

"If Bartolomeus is here, he can't lose where he's in contention, but he wants to explore the uncontested path first. Is there a good hand?"

There was no answer to the Emperor's crush.
