That Ordinary Mister is a War God

26. Birth of the Crown Prince

It was only a few days after Claude and Bal met that Crown Prince Adrian was born.

At the same time it is announced that the second prince, Lüdiger, will be the general director of the new Knights.

The son of the Prince's supportive forces is the main member and the escort on the northern border is said to be the main task.

The nobles are greatly surprised by the blatant HR of putting together potentially dangerous people and flying them to distant and harsh lands.

Because it was the only decision made by the contemporary emperors, who had been sneaky slapped in the pussy for being too cautious and cowardly.

"Damn, how could I... my grandfather is a duke"

Rüdiger regretted it very much, but no one would take it up with him anymore.

There is the sadness of a man who hates a lot because he says on something, "My own father is an emperor" and "My own grandfather is a duke," but no one pointed it out to me.

His mother protested to her husband, and she appealed to her father, but the reaction from both was cold.

"If you disagree with the rest of the decision, even if you do, you must be guilty."

The husband, the emperor, said with a stern face, blues her.

"Complaining any more would be treason. You and your son will be executed, and the Duke's house will be destroyed. Naturally, I'm executed, too."

The Father Duke offered her a concrete future, and she was stunned.

Is the fear of losing everything you have now won over chasing the size of what you were supposed to get in a little while, the First Lady will be more dear than this day.

"If you'd noticed earlier, you'd have had less difficulty"

The emperor blurred his heart, but decided to be satisfied that it was over without much.

It was the Adrian faction that got busy.

Beyond becoming a crown prince, he has authority to represent the emperor, and duties are imposed accordingly.

In addition to more to remember, in this case we must go around thanking those who supported us.

Of course it is in the form of the royal family and subordinates, so it is the content of "praise and send" that appears in the pictorial books of the common people.

Having rejoiced in the birth of the new Crown Prince, lined up his words of celebration and completed his response to the nobles who had brought him gifts, Adrian summons an individually thankful presence to his private room.

It was Claude, Manuel, Bal, Meena, the general and the magician secretary who called.

The Crown Prince Adrian's private room is not very spacious and the condiments are qualitative.

(I think the royal family would be just a little more luxurious)

And so much so that even Bal thought.

"Welcome"

There was only one servant but Adrian, the master of the room.

The samurai is a quiet gray-haired man in his fifties, and holds the key position of chief samurai.

Bal interpreted it as meaning confidence in the summoned face, as well as a silent statement that he wanted to talk confidentially.

Adrian opens his mouth when everyone sits back and the chief squire distributes tea brewed into a floral teacup.

"His Majesty asked me if I had been chosen for the position of Crown Prince by your support. Let me thank you again. Thanks."

Respond with a "worship" in which he lowers his head with his right hand resting on his left chest, except for Meena, in his words.

You also expected her not to bow her head, and neither Adrian nor the chief of staff showed how they cared.

"From now on, I swear I will do my best to meet your expectations. By the way, I'd like to thank you in some way, but what do you want? If you can do it under the authority of the Crown Prince, let me do everything I can."

The Crown Prince sees Claude first after saying so.

"Claude, what do you say?

"Yes, I ask you for a good politics that will not beat your father"

"It's my duty, and it can't be your reward."

Adrian laughs bitterly at Claude's greedless answer.

"It doesn't have to be right now, so think about it. How about Weinberger next?

It was General Weinberger who was called by his name.

"May I grace my men and my homeland, if I may."

He is a skinny but tight muscle armored samurai who turns forty-two this year, with a hard eye and sharp eyes and hard words.

Adrian nods to the simple reply of a man who is aristocratic but has a similar background as a knockout warrior.

"Okay. It won't be a big deal, but it will come true if the amount of meat on the table increases or so. Or would you prefer sugar sweets?"

"I know you're too happy to wear something as expensive as sugar candy."

The Crown Prince laughs bitterly in response to Weinberger.

I wanted to be rewarded, but I felt like I was told I wanted to stop spoiling things.

"Next up, Bartolomeus. I hear your words have set His Majesty's heart. Do you want anything?

Bal answered Adrian's question sincerely.

"Does Your Majesty know about the ambulance?

"Mm-hmm. I also know you're assisting me."

The Crown Prince intended to have shown that it was not unknown, but for Bal it is a reaction as expected.

"Can't we do something about the ambulance a little bit more? Especially from the orphans, future generals and Yagami Fai could be born."

"... ok. It would be foolish to leave the people in charge of the country behind, even though they could be hiding. There are only a few things you can do in the presence of the Crown Prince, so let's play it to Your Majesty."

Adrian listened to his suggestion with a serious face.

"Thank you"

Bal answers and Meena's turn comes next.

"It's warm. Will you not take Prince Ludiger's neck?"

She leaked her thoughts on the matter, not the demands.

Because of Bal's attention, he also uses salutations against Adrian, who once became Crown Prince.

All those here know her personality very well, so they stay just to give her a look.

As Bal slurred, she had no choice but to speak of her demands.

"I want magic equipment. I'll write down the specifics later and give them to you."

"Okay. Make sure I have something for you."

The Crown Prince nodded at her request and asked the Secretary of Magic.

"What does Reihenbach want?

"Yes, I hope you can accommodate the budget that will be allocated to the Court Magic Corps"

Reihenbach, who comes to what can be described as the culmination of an imperial magician, makes Adrian laugh bitterly by conveying his pragmatic wishes.

"The state budget can't be helped by my existence. Let's hope something a little different."

"Excuse me"

More than forty years after becoming a magician in the court, there's no way Reihenbach, who turns sixty this year, doesn't know.

Even though I knew it, the Crown Prince didn't point it out.

I interpreted it as a joke of his own.

The last time I was asked was Manuel.

"I hope you have a warehouse to keep your collection"

"Okay. Let's arrange it."

The Crown Prince is asked what wishes he seems to be able to manage with his coexistence, and answers with a little relief.
