That Ordinary Mister is a War God

29. Miscellaneous use of guild

Chores that are turned to bales are often luggage carrying, warehousing, etc.

Some clerical positions deal with paperwork, provided that the reading and writing calculations are done properly.

Needless to say, he has not declared his true abilities and is therefore judged not to be left to him.

"Old man, you're a chore in a good year..."

It's Toy, a fifteen-year-old human boy, who's been talking to him face to face.

Bal replies with a laugh to the Grade 10 adventurer who is turning his busy blue gaze.

"I don't have a choice. It's dangerous to go outside now."

"If it's true, doesn't the old man have to be in the investigation as a fourth or third degree?

Toy's mediocre face saw unhidden stress, and he decided to be a divergent subject.

"Right. I used to appreciate it. I couldn't keep up with my strength."

He felt "spared" for the boy how Bal replied with a laugh, biting his lips uncomfortably.

"Don't blush, you mess with the fish."

Toy throws up rumblings that he's going to graduate if anyone who knows who he is asks.

"Because it's true they're miscellaneous fish," he said.

Bal doesn't break the attitude of reciprocating only.

It would have impressed me if there was around Roy that it was an adult style that didn't deal with the roughness of young people.

Unfortunately, however, there were only two of them in the warehouse, and Toy was still a boy who tended to bend his opponent's margin as "licked".

"Son of a bitch"

Still, did you just pull your hand, curse me, and then go outside the warehouse?

"... you're young. Do you have any feelings?"

I don't hate Bal a young man like him.

He would have beaten Bal if he was uncontrolled, but Toy was a boy who still had self-control and discernment.

(Those who don't forget restraint even when their emotions are high may turn depending on the trigger)

I think Bal will try to talk to the guild general next time as he does his work.

At least I want to give you a chance.

Most importantly, Toy is only freshly in grade 10, so it will be difficult until the situation settles down.

He does the work he is silently given even when he is alone.

"Shall I help?

and they were watching it from somewhere. Thought calls flew in from Meena but refused.

"I'll stop it. 'Cause you're supposed to be alone, and there's no way you can do the job for both of you, is there?

Bal answers with a call of thought.

Perhaps I can say that it's no surprise that if it's the corner of Yagami Fai, you couldn't have had a mediocre old man.

Was Meena expecting his answer, where the thought call is interrupted?

If you keep working for a while and then take a break, Toy will be back.

He still had the look of a mess, and he didn't apologize to Bal, but he resumed his job.

(Did you resume work when your head got cold? You're a good girl.)

And he thinks.

They're going to say "too sweet" around Meena, but Bal can't get tough in these places.

(Meena would say it's not a good idea to spoil a kid because he's the other guy)

He anticipates the bitterness of a beautiful elf and laughs inside.

"What is it?

You misjudged him, Toy stops and asks him to stop.

"No, you're fine when you're back properly. If I were you, I wouldn't be so sure."

When Bal says calmly, the boy hums his nose.

"That's why the old man is so tired even though he's a good year"

The disgust flew, but not even. Just an old man was a well-heard word.

"Advice, it hurts."

Toy moves his facial muscles like he's irritated if he answers.

You can't see the boy's expression from where Bal is, but even if you can't see his face if it's also Yagami Fai, it's natural to know to that extent.

(Hi, that doesn't go well with this kid.)

I decided that if my words and actions just annoyed the boy, I might as well take them into account.

"A little early, but I'll let you pull me up."

When Bal speaks, Toy stops his hand and looks surprised.

"Are you sure? If we stop now, we'll lose a few copper coins."

"For that matter, I'm fine because I'm going to get a bump somewhere. I know a lot of people."

To the boy who has asked me if it would not be a matter of death and life, he tells me the answer that he thinks to himself that he seems like an uncle.

"Weren't you just wasting your years eating"

The boy's face, who has said disgust again, says "worried and lost it".

(I knew you weren't such a bad kid)

And Bal went to report to the receptionist.
