The Academy's NTR Villain

Chapter 41: The Hero Party Assembly

Sponsored

Morning bells rang out across the high stone towers of the Royal Academy.

Hundreds of cadets packed the grand pavilion under the bright morning sky.

Gold banners hung from the marble pillars.

Up on the raised stage, Hero Candidate Noel Pendelton stood in his clean white tunic.

His golden hair caught the sun.

His handsome face wore a bright, flawless smile that made every young noble in the crowd cheer.

Beside Noel stood the three maidens of his Hero Party.

Saintess Candidate Seraphina Croix stood on his right.

She wore loose white holy robes tied with gold cord.

Her long blonde hair fell past her shoulders.

Her clear blue eyes looked down at the ground with quiet modesty.

Between her pale fingers, she held a string of silver prayer beads, turning them one by one.

On Noel’s left stood Knight Captain Valerie.

Valerie wore polished silver plate armor over her chest and shoulders.

Her hand rested firmly on the pommel of her heavy longsword.

Her sharp green eyes scanned the crowd with cold warrior discipline.

Behind them stood Spiritist Maya.

Maya wore deep blue robes marked with silver star runes, her quiet face hidden slightly beneath a dark hood.

"The Hero Party!" a cadet shouted from the front row.

"The Empire’s greatest hope!" another voice cried out.

Noel raised his right hand, waving to the crowd with warm noble grace.

Down on the lower terrace, Leo Vance walked into the pavilion with his hands shoved deep into his pockets.

He wore his dark uniform with the top buttons undone.

He did not look at the cheering crowd.

He did not care about the speeches.

As Leo stepped onto the stone tiles, a sudden pair of eyes locked onto him from the front rank of the elite class.

Celestia Raine stood there among the top-tier mages.

She held the edges of her thick noble cloak wrapped tight around her body.

The moment her eyes met Leo’s dark gaze, her breath hitched.

Her pale cheeks turned red.

Beneath her cloak, her thighs rubbed together in an instant, helpless reflex.

The memory of the dark stone altar on Floor 12 flashed through her mind.

She could still feel the deep, heavy heat of Leo’s power marked inside her core.

Beside Celestia, First Prince Lucien von Vaeloria sat slumped on an iron bench.

Lucien looked thin and pale.

His royal tunic was wrinkled.

His hands shook as he stared at the floor, too broken to look at the woman he had abandoned in the dark dungeon.

Leo glanced at Lucien for a second, then looked away with a flat smirk.

’Pathetic,’ Leo thought.

Leo leaned his back against a stone pillar near the edge of the terrace.

He closed his eyes and turned his attention inward.

Deep beneath his ribs, his Black Sun core hummed with heavy, dark power.

The energy he had absorbed on Floor 12 pulsed like a hot furnace in his chest.

Beside the dark core, his newly awakened Half-Incubus bloodline flowed through his veins like warm wine.

Leo did not need a floating blue screen to understand his body.

He felt the truth through direct physical sense.

The connection was simple and clear.

Whenever he touched, kissed, and claimed maidens with powerful bloodlines, sacred talents, or rare inheritances attached to male leads, warm mana currents circulated between them.

The physical act drew out the purest bloodline energy and special power traits from the women, unfreezing their blocked desires while pouring raw energy straight into his Black Sun core.

Each claimed maiden added her unique power to his own.

Elara’s Frost bloodline had strengthened his base core.

Celestia’s Ancient Arcane bloodline on Floor 12 had broken his core through to the Fourth Ascension tier.

Now, Hero Noel had walked right into his room and offered three more top-tier maidens on a silver platter.

Saintess Candidate Seraphina Croix.

Knight Captain Valerie.

Spiritist Maya.

Whatever Noel’s strange, perverted reasons were, it did not matter to Leo.

If the Hero Candidate wanted to hand over the Church’s pure Saintess, Leo would gladly take her.

Leo opened his eyes and looked up at Noel’s smiling face on the stage.

A cold, dark smile spread across Leo’s lips.

’If you offer her to me,’ Leo thought, ’I will take your Saintess, break her sacred vows, and devour every drop of power she has to offer.’

Up on the stage, the Academy Headmaster stepped back from the podium.

Noel stepped forward, placing his hands on the stone ledge.

The cheering cadets went silent.

"Cadets of the Royal Academy," Noel began, his voice ringing with clear holy strength. "Our party has arrived to reinforce the Academy’s holy wardings against the rising Calamity rifts."

The crowd nodded with solemn respect.

"To ensure full security," Noel continued, his eyes scanning the crowd until they landed on Leo. "We will conduct daily warding rotations in the sacred zones."

Noel paused, a warm, generous smile touching his lips.

"Starting this morning, Saintess Candidate Seraphina Croix will take charge of the Restricted Relic Vault."

The cadets murmured in interest.

The Relic Vault was the oldest, most dangerous holy archive in the Academy, packed with ancient divine artifacts.

"And to assist her in this heavy duty," Noel said, raising his voice so the entire pavilion could hear. "I have requested Cadet Leo Vance to serve as her joint partner."

A sudden wave of gasps broke out across the pavilion.

"Leo Vance?"

"The tyrant of House Vance?"

"Why would Lord Noel put a holy Saintess alone with that violent brute?"

Seraphina stiffened where she stood on the stage.

Her fingers froze around her silver prayer beads.

Her clear blue eyes widened in shock as she turned her head to look at Noel.

"Lord Noel..." Seraphina whispered, her voice trembling slightly. "With Leo Vance? The rumors say he is..."

Noel turned to her with a warm, polite smile.

He reached out and patted her shoulder through her thick white robe.

His touch was light, brief, and completely devoid of any heat or affection.

"Do not worry, Seraphina," Noel said in a soft, holy tone. "Leo is strong and capable. I trust him completely with your safety."

Seraphina lowered her head, biting her bottom lip.

A cold ache tightened inside her chest.

She had stood beside Noel for two full years.

She had prayed for him every morning.

Yet Noel had never once held her hand.

He had never looked at her with warmth or desire.

And now, he was handing her over to the most feared bully in the entire Academy with a bright, cheerful smile.

’Why?’ Seraphina thought, her throat going dry with hurt. ’Why does he look so happy to send me away?’

Up on the stage, Noel gave one last noble bow to the cheering crowd.

He stepped down the marble stairs, leading his party toward the lower terrace.

Seraphina walked behind him, her white robes rustling against the stone floor.

As she reached the bottom of the stairs, a tall shadow fell across her path.

Seraphina stopped.

She looked up.

Leo Vance stood right in front of her, blocking her way with his hands in his pockets.

He looked down at her with calm, lazy dark eyes.

Up close, the sweet, warm scent of Leo’s Half-Incubus bloodline hit her senses like a sudden wave of heat.

Seraphina’s breath caught in her throat.

Her heart gave a hard, sudden thud against her ribs.

A strange prickle of warmth ran down her spine, making the tips of her ears turn red beneath her golden hair.

"Cadet Vance," Seraphina said, her voice shaking as she clutched her prayer beads against her chest. "Are you ready to report to the Relic Vault?"

Leo leaned down slightly, bringing his face close to her ear.

"I am ready, Saintess," Leo whispered, his voice low and sharp. "Let us see how long your holy prayers last behind locked doors."

Seraphina took a quick, frightened step back, her blue eyes wide with shock.

Leo did not wait for her reply.

He turned and walked toward the dark archway of the Relic Vault with a slow, relaxed stride.

Seraphina stood frozen on the sunny terrace, her knees trembling beneath her white robes as she watched his broad back disappear into the shadows.
