Chapter 173 Get me the Equation of Life

A few minutes later, the urgent sound of lightning tearing through the air came from outside the large doors.

Barry Allen stumbled in, covered in exhaustion; he had defeated The Rival.

But what followed immediately was the vanishing of his memories.

That part of his memory regarding Wally West could not be recalled no matter what; he only remembered that an important relative had passed away.

When he saw Reverse-Flash, he was just about to open his mouth to roast him, but ended up collapsing to the ground with a bang.

The memories belonging to the original timeline in his mind began to slide into the abyss like shifting sand, disappearing bit by bit.

"I... What is happening to me? My memories..." Barry looked bewildered.

Reverse-Flash couldn’t help but burst into hearty laughter. "Hahahaha! Flash! This is time’s punishment for you!"

"You forcibly created this damned paradox, and the paradox is devouring your reality! Once your memories completely vanish, you will also completely lose your identity as the Flash, and you will be forever lost in this Flashpoint World as an ordinary person with zero abilities!"

Swan’s ultimate goal was to take down the Flash.

At this moment, even fear had vanished, leaving only mockery for his formidable rival.

"Are you still going to bully the Flash even on the verge of Death? You bastard, Reverse-Flash!!"

Lucas admired Reverse-Flash.

"Barry, have you thought it through? Time’s punishment is hunting down your friends. In a few more minutes, even Iris West will vanish. No one would risk such a heavy price just to play a fake galgame!"

Lucas sighed.

The Flash just wanted to reunite with his parents; what did he do wrong?

Barry lay on the ground, tears and sweat mixing together. He looked at the ceiling and finally nodded in agony.

"That’s right!"

Reverse-Flash suddenly grinned.

Lucas turned around, red light glowing in his eyes.

Reverse-Flash instantly stopped smiling.

He suddenly remembered that when he first became an enemy of the Guardian, the other party seemed to deliberately torture him, and at the time he didn’t know why...

Oh, shit!

Could it be because of this time?

"Um... Sir! Is it still too late for me to apologize now?"

Reverse-Flash suddenly wilted.

Lucas shook his head ambiguously. "No way! My memory is quite good. The Thawne family, right? I will equally bully every single generation of your family!"

Thawne: "..."

"But for now, it’s time for us to go home!"

Lucas grinned, shattered the prison holding Reverse-Flash, and dragged the man right out.

Reverse-Flash still wanted to run, but was grabbed by the collar by Lucas and slammed onto the ground.

"Barry, it’s time to go do your day job."

Lucas flipped his right hand, taking out that calcified stone from his ring. The crystal’s surface instantly burst forth, sweeping them into the Speed Force spacetime.

Without Lucas needing to deliberately set coordinates, the Speed Force transported them to the night Barry’s mother died.

Good grief!

Outside the tiny, pitiful house, hundreds of Speedsters were standing there.

Besides Barry himself, there were many other Speedsters, who all seemed to have come to watch and check-in.

"Alright, all of you fucking get lost!"

Lucas let out a roar.

The irrelevant onlookers all slipped away.

No one would doubt Lucas’s strength.

"Do all these Speedsters have moms, huh? Enjoying other people’s drama—I’ll have to go pick fights with them more often in the future!"

Under Lucas’s gaze, Thawne began the slaughter with extreme professionalism, once again stabbing through the heart of Barry’s mother with a blade, completing the closed loop of the fixed temporal point, and erasing the Flashpoint paradox.

...

Main timeline.

Lucas and Barry returned to S.T.A.R. Labs. Barry felt as though he had been in a dream that would never wake up.

In the lobby, the incandescent lights were somewhat glaring.

Cisco Ramon and Dr. Harrison Wells... were comparing the movie plots of Jaws from two Earths, while Caitlin Snow was day after day performing cell comparisons.

The instant she heard the commotion, Caitlin Snow abruptly turned her head.

It really was Lucas!

The female doctor’s eyes were red. Wearing high heels, she rushed forward in a burst, recklessly throwing herself into Lucas’s arms and tightly hugging his waist.

"Uh! How long was I gone?"

"Three months!"

Caitlin Snow choked slightly.

She even felt like she was a jinx who brought misfortune to everyone around her—date one and they die, date another and they die, each dying in a completely different way.

Ronnie Raymond self-destructed, leaving not even ashes behind.

Jay, as a time remnant, had his heart ripped out by the Reverse-Flash.

Lucas was swept away out of thin air by a wormhole.

"Three months, huh? Barry, I really have to dominate you hard!" Lucas turned her head, and Barry shrank his neck with a guilty conscience.

"Uhm... Lucas, after the Flashpoint timeline was corrected, the timeline of the real World indeed might have undergone some bizarre shifts... And I didn’t mean to!"

Before Barry could finish shifting the blame, Cisco Ramon’s eyes also turned red, and he gave Lucas a passionate, fiery bear hug.

"What is this?"

Lucas pushed Cisco Ramon away.

Barry was a bit scared. "No way, could Cisco Ramon have become a homosexual enthusiast?"

That change would be a bit too big!

"Bullshit!" Cisco Ramon quickly explained, "I’m just purely thanking Lucas; he gave me a reminder about my brother... If it weren’t for him, my own brother would have already died from injuries in a car accident!"

"Your brother got into an accident?"

Barry was stunned once again.

In the original timeline, Cisco Ramon’s brother lived very well, and there was no such thing as a car accident at all.

"Yeah, two months ago, my older brother’s sports car was sent flying on the highway by a flying steel coil. Fortunately, I had placed a positioning tracker in his car beforehand and teleported him out at the very first moment!"

"Otherwise, my brother would have already turned into a 2D anime character!"

"Even so, due to his overly severe injuries, his nervous system suffered physical damage, and he’ll have to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair... But at least his life was saved!"

"As long as a person is alive, it’s already a miracle! This is all thanks to Lucas’s reminder, and also Barry... Thank you so much for sending my brother to the hospital at the speed of light!"

Barry scratched his head, the hair at the back of his head almost being pulled out completely.

How could he possibly speak of Flashpoint matters now?!

He felt he would be chopped into minced meat by Caitlin Snow and Cisco Ramon!

"He can only sit in a wheelchair for the rest of his life?" Lucas muttered thoughtfully.

Good opportunity!

This was an opportunity to completely win over Cisco Ramon. Good people are good precisely because they value relationships and loyalty.

Both Cisco Ramon and Caitlin Snow were the kind of people who could sacrifice their lives for their friends.

By helping them, he could conquer this World even faster.

"Caitlin Snow is trying to find a way. She thinks that if she combines that tube of serum you left behind, maybe it can allow my brother to stand up again, or even gain superpowers,"

Cisco Ramon said.

Caitlin Snow’s eyes flickered away. "Sorry, this was my own arbitrary decision; I didn’t get the chance to ask for your opinion."

Lucas waved his hand.

"It’s nothing. If something happened to me, you would do the same for me, right?"

Caitlin Snow nodded heavily.

"Of course! After you went missing, Cisco Ramon and I barely slept for three consecutive days, constantly using vibrations to search for your location!"

"It’s just that you were in the Speed Force, so we tried using an electric chair over and over again!"

"We probably only tried... 146 times!"

Look at that!

What do you call being love-brained? This is called being love-brained!

"Cisco Ramon, let your brother endure it for a bit longer. That little injury of his is no different from a skinned knee. Even if he died on the spot, I could still drag him back to life!"

Everyone was taken aback.

"What do you mean?" Dr. Harrison Wells rubbed his chin.

"Did I not tell you guys? Among my many superpowers, one of them is Super-speed Healing. Even if your heart is ripped out or your baculum is yanked out alive, I can completely heal it."

Lucas lightly tapped his finger, and the cut on Cisco Ramon’s hand was instantly healed.

He looked at his finger in disbelief. Earlier during the assembly of a toy model, he had accidentally cut his finger; the wound was rather deep and hadn’t healed yet.

As a result, Lucas just moved his fingertips and healed him right up.

"Bro, as long as you can cure my brother, I’ll do anything!"

Cisco Ramon was this close to kneeling down.

"Oh?"

"You can really do anything?"

"Then help me get the Anti-Life Equation! Or the Life Equation works too; it’s not hard, just break the Source Wall!"
