Chapter 168 Frost Killer
With soft, fragrant warmth in his arms, Lucas’s eyes were incredibly deep. As a pure king, when it came to the way of the flesh, he certainly wouldn’t refuse a delicacy delivered right to his lips.
Caitlin Snow’s purity was far superior to Maeve’s or Jordan’s.
"Good opportunity!"
Lucas took the initiative, directly lifting Caitlin Snow’s soft, delicate body.
Inside the bedroom, a storm raged; the amorous battle lasted all night, until the sky outside began to pale with the first light of dawn. (Sigh, I won’t write it, I’ll just use the classic phrasing.)
Early morning.
Sunlight filtered through the sheer curtains, spilling onto the messy bed.
Lucas leaned against the headboard, stroking Caitlin Snow’s blonde hair. However, at one moment, he seemed to sense a fluctuation in space-time coming from afar; Barry Allen still couldn’t help himself.
He ran into the Speed Force and began to change the future.
This timeline was about to change.
At the same time, Lucas keenly sensed that the Caitlin Snow beside him had undergone some changes.
Her body began to tremble unnaturally, her blonde hair turned completely white, and she radiated a chill that would freeze one to the marrow. To Lucas, however, this bit of cold was like a gentle breeze.
Caitlin Snow’s freezing ability could be maintained at absolute zero.
High temperatures can be stacked without limit, but low temperatures are difficult to deepen; absolute zero is already an extreme limit, theoretically impossible to reach, which can be considered a basic rule of the universe.
But Caitlin Snow could maintain absolute zero; her ability was close to the rules of the universe, and it was actually incredibly powerful.
If her stamina could keep up, freezing a star was entirely possible.
It was similar to Marvel’s Omega-level Iceman.
Crack! Crack!
Because of the extreme low temperature, the tiny water mist in the surrounding air instantly condensed. A thick layer of frost began to spread over the sheets, the quilt, and even the floor not far away.
The woman on the bed suddenly opened her eyes.
A pair of ghostly white pupils radiated cold killing intent, no longer resembling Caitlin Snow’s gentle brown eyes.
Without a doubt.
This was one of the effects brought about by Barry Allen disrupting the timeline.
Such were the side effects of Flashpoint.
If it were a normal person, they would have probably been scared away long ago, but Lucas felt no fear at all. Instead, he changed to a more comfortable position, a calm smile hanging on the corners of his mouth.
Just like Homelander!
"Awake, beautiful? Last night wasn’t too good, was it? Why the morning grumpiness?" Lucas greeted with a smile.
The newly awakened Killer Frost stared coldly at the man in front of her. She felt waves of soreness and discomfort, but her recovery ability was very strong, and she instantly restored herself to her original state.
"You were really something else last night, handsome. Caitlin Snow’s bones were almost falling apart."
Killer Frost’s lips were blue-purple, and her manner and tone of speech were full of aggression and wildness, completely the opposite extreme of the gentle and introverted Caitlin Snow.
"I was holding back," Lucas said.
Killer Frost’s cold air spread. This level of low temperature was a lethal weapon against any super-powered individual, capable of freezing even speedsters to pieces, but in front of the Viltrumite’s massive muscles, it was nothing more than: a mere gentle breeze!
"Is that so?"
"Of course, you can experience it again!"
Lucas leaned in, his large hand wrapping around Killer Frost’s shoulder.
Killer Frost visibly froze for a moment.
She had inherited Caitlin Snow’s memories. As the personality taking control of the body for the first time, she found that she was unable to do anything against Lucas. Even generating a hint of hostility would cause Caitlin Snow’s consciousness to rebound.
This was so frustrating!
But... why couldn’t her cold air freeze even a single hair of his?
Was the gap really that large?
Looking at Lucas’s aggressive gaze, Killer Frost forced herself to stay tough, licking her lips, trying to play the tough character.
"What’s the matter, Superman? You... don’t seem afraid of this new face of mine at all! Since that’s the case, what shall we do next? Are you going to lock me up in the S.T.A.R. Labs prison?"
Oh?
Lucas’s eyes lit up. "You like playing restraint-type games? That’s fantastic! I’ve never tried that kind of play before!"
Killer Frost: "..."
When you aren’t strong enough, even with your abilities fully unleashed, it just looks like a kitten acting cute in someone else’s eyes!
She finally understood that.
"Fine. Anyway, as long as it’s something that makes Caitlin Snow unhappy, I’m happy. She’s kept me locked up for so long; it’s time for me to collect some interest!" Killer Frost took the initiative directly.
Her purple lips kissed him fiercely.
Boom!
An even more violent frost chill erupted in the bedroom. The surrounding furniture was instantly frozen into ice blocks, and it even tried to drill into Lucas’s mouth, wanting to freeze his throat and his internal organs along with it.
Killer Frost was definitely no pushover. Before her kinder personality was awakened, Killer Frost was absolutely ruthless, someone who could hack her way from the Central City vegetable market all the way to the Central City Police Department with two ice daggers without blinking an eye.
"Oh!"
"Not bad!"
"I’ve got a lot of heat, your cold air is just what I need!"
Lucas only felt his mind clear. He took the initiative again, conquering the old ice maiden all over again.
Caitlin Snow might not have been a virgin, but Killer Frost definitely was; she was a veteran ice maiden.
The wild and intense amorous drama began to unfold once more, this time lasting for a full two hours.
Killer Frost had healing skills, and coupled with her robust physique, she still ended up limp in Lucas’s arms, turning from a cold, tsundere kitten into a gentle, yielding woman.
Even though her eyes were colder than ever, at least she wasn’t shouting about killing anymore, and her whole demeanor even had a touch of a young woman’s charm.
Lucas let out a breath, feeling refreshed and invigorated. The dual spirits were even better than he had imagined.
Two completely different personalities in the same body—in another world, this could be the basis for its own romance novel.
"Beautiful, now that we’ve done the deed, you should at least tell me your name, right?" Lucas stroked her somewhat disheveled white hair.
Killer Frost had no strength to struggle. "Killer Frost. I prefer that name."
"What kind of name is that? At best, it’s just a code name," Lucas said.
Killer Frost was suddenly stunned. A rare look of confusion appeared in her eyes. "I am Caitlin Snow, but our personalities are different. I protect her every time, but she turns a blind eye to me, and even despises me from the bottom of her heart, calling me a monster!"
"So, I have no name!"
"Oh, poor girl!" Lucas thought for a moment. "Then you can just be called Little Kai. Killer Frost sounds like it’s more for professional occasions; Little Kai is very appropriate for here."
Killer Frost rolled her eyes at him, her mood becoming somewhat complicated.
Little Kai?
It sounded very affectionate.
"I’m just a monster, Killer Frost is the most fitting!"
"A monster?" Lucas shook his head. "It’s normal for people to fear what they don’t understand. One day, Caitlin Snow will reconcile with you; she just doesn’t know the reason for your existence!"
When mentioning Caitlin Snow, Killer Frost’s mood became very irritable.
"Forget it! I don’t want to play the ’save the whole world’ game with you all, that kind of game is like playing house." Killer Frost looked away.
"Besides, what kind of constitution do you have? Why does my absolute zero have absolutely no effect on you? Are alien races really that powerful?"
Lucas reached out a hand and squeezed slightly, causing the furniture in the room to tremble. "Unless you can become strong enough to freeze the sun, then it might have some effect on me. But to even break my skin? You’re still quite far off..."
"In short, with your current abilities, if you want to eat an old popsicle, it’ll take at least ten thousand years!"
Old popsicle?
Killer Frost was confused for a moment, then she blushed.
Facts proved that this new white-haired witch was completely a blank slate in the world of romance. She looked quite aggressive and was a proper cold, aloof, mature woman like Elsa, but once Lucas seized the dominant position, she was no different from a little woman.
Isn’t there an old saying that the colder and more aloof a girl is, the more likely she is to have a romantic brain inside?
"Little Kai?" Lucas called out tentatively.
As a result, Killer Frost directly receded. Her originally crystalline white hair instantly faded back to its original color, her deep purple lips turned rosy, and her ghostly white pupils returned to gentle brown eyes.
"How is she like Shazam? She disappears with just one shout!"
