Chapter 259 Destroying DeVoe
Inside S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry brought back the explosion residue for Cisco to analyze.
"Gravitational lensing deflection, dark matter collapse triggering... This level of micro-engineering almost touches future technology. Across the entire city, aside from Mercury Labs, I’m afraid only one person could pull it off." Cisco slammed his fist on the table, gritting his teeth, "Clifford DeVoe! Not only does he want to take out Barry, but he’s also going to kill Caitlin along with him!"
Cisco and Caitlin had known each other for many years and were very good friends. If anything happened to Caitlin, he would genuinely go crazy.
Caitlin and Frost didn’t care much about their personal safety and were still in a standoff.
"Stop talking nonsense, Cisco! Can you still not locate DeVoe’s coordinates? I’ll fly over directly, freeze his brain into ice shards, and make it impossible for his neurons to ever move again!" Frost’s logic was simple and brutal.
Barry took a deep breath, "Frost, calm down! We aren’t an assassination squad; there must be a way we can sanction DeVoe!"
Frost just glanced at Barry and didn’t speak again.
She was just hot-headed and wouldn’t actually kill anyone. Although Caitlin was a selfish stinky woman who wanted to monopolize all the good things, she still loved this sister of hers.
"Does no one care about me at all? Joe even ignored my appeal; I want to apply for police protection!"
Lucas slammed the table, feeling wronged.
When would boys ever be able to stand up!
So angry and shivering!
"Lucas! Stop messing around!"
Caitlin waved her hand. With Lucas’s abilities, throwing The Thinker into the Sun would probably be a piece of cake.
When dealing with The Thinker, everyone on Team Flash was tense, except for Lucas, who was as relaxed as an old man strolling down the street. But Caitlin saw through it without exposing him; she knew Lucas had his own rules for doing things.
"I still have no way to locate The Thinker up to now. This guy is as if he doesn’t exist in this dimension. S.T.A.R. Labs’ satellites scan uninterruptedly, but every time an alarm is received, the guy has already finished!"
Cisco tried various positioning methods, but none of them had much effect.
"Perhaps he really isn’t in this dimension?" Lucas chimed in.
Cisco spread his hands, "Then there’s even less we can do. We can only wait for him to show up next time to lock onto his location, but that makes it hard to avoid further victims appearing."
Barry also wore a conflicted expression.

Lucas thought for a moment and decided to make a move after all. Since The Thinker had already noticed the little tricks he played, he might as well make the guy disappear; otherwise, having a dark matter bomb on the left and a nuclear bomb on the right was always somewhat annoying.
Who could endure someone constantly setting off firecrackers by their ear while they were sleeping.
"Alright, no need to be conflicted. I’ll handle it!"
Lucas slowly stood up, casually making a stroke through space. The void in front of him rippled on its own like water waves, and inside the tear directly appeared another secret pocket dimension—DeVoe’s hideout.
This guy had been hiding in the pocket dimension all along, and ordinary technological means couldn’t locate him.
Lucas walked in, and Barry quickly changed into his suit and rushed in after him.
...
Inside the pocket dimension.
The humming of mechanical components filled every corner. Hundreds of holographic screens refreshed hundreds of millions of probability maps, and DeVoe was sitting upright on that floating chair, his eyes glowing with a morbid blue light.
"Data analysis in progress... Describing target personality profile... Unable to analyze... Error! Unable to analyze!"
DeVoe stared intently at the screen, his expression turning ferocious, "Why?! My brain cannot analyze it? What kind of entity is he anyway? This is no longer a normal Supe!"
"Clifford, stop... You’ve plundered too many abilities, your mind is being eroded..."
"Shut up, foolish woman!" DeVoe suddenly turned back and shouted sternly, "I possess omniscient and omnipotent thought! I am the savior of this Planet! No one can exceed my calculations, no—"
"Omniscient and omnipotent? Mortal arrogance is simply laughable beyond measure!"
A cold, soft chuckle echoed through the center of the spacious hall.
DeVoe’s roar stopped abruptly, every hair on his body standing on end!
Snap!
Like shattering glass, Lucas easily broke through to the dimension where DeVoe was. Without even releasing his divine power, just standing there caused the entire spaceship’s gravitational field to begin distorting and deforming.
"Even I wouldn’t dare call myself omniscient and omnipotent. In certain Universes, entities stronger than me do exist, yet you are merely a silhouette of a three-dimensional World, and you actually have the audacity to claim to be omniscient and omnipotent?"
DeVoe’s pupils constricted sharply, "You... How is it possible for you to directly locate my pocket dimension?"
From his body erupted over a dozen plundered superpowers: gravity manipulation, psychokinetic storm, sonic shockwave, luck probability modification, microscopic size shifting...
"In my domain, I am a god! Die!!" DeVoe roared hysterically.
Lucas didn’t even lift an eyelid.
"Look, he’s panicking!"
Barry wore a solemn expression, intending to dodge, but unexpectedly DeVoe’s abilities didn’t even break Lucas’s force field. They simply shattered and dispersed upon hitting a solid wall.
Even Barry was extremely curious about what kind of entity Lucas truly was.
His level of mystery was almost on par with the Speed Force.
At least Barry had never seen any version of Superman as powerful as Lucas!
"Impossible! My abilities... My abilities actually failed!" DeVoe kept releasing energy on the spot, but from Barry’s perspective, his movements were bizarrely demonic, like he was having cramps in place.
"Alright, put away your chicken claws!"
Lucas released just a tiny bit of mass oppression. The roaring gravitational wave stirred up a hint of eerie halo, and under this heavy pressure that surpassed three-dimensional physical common sense, DeVoe’s body didn’t last even a single second.
He was directly crushed into absolute nothingness.
"You... You killed him?"
Barry widened his eyes.
"No way! You must have seen it wrong. I restored him to a molecular-level architecture, dust to dust, earth to earth, and those victims he murdered will also gain a new lease on life!"
Lucas raised his hand once more, and the dozen or so Meta-humans killed by DeVoe stood up one by one on the original ground.
DeVoe’s wife immediately broke down, and Lucas gently tapped her forehead.
"Lost lamb! Your brain has already been messed up by DeVoe; he poisoned you several times without your even knowing it!"
The woman instantly sobered up.
As early as when her husband started killing people, she had already developed thoughts of leaving, but DeVoe kept controlling her with his superpowers and erasing her memories. Until this moment did she finally wake up.
"Alright, the ending is a happy reunion, go home and make dumplings!"
Lucas clapped his hands again.
The reality everyone was in directly shifted back to S.T.A.R. Labs, and those dozen or so victims also returned to their respective homes.
"We need to talk!" Barry said.
