Chapter 103 you idiot! Did you wrap your curtains around yourself?
"Alright, alright, quit hanging around here like a dog," Lucas waved his hand, looking disgusted. "Dogs at least provide emotional support. You’re just pure trash. Go find somewhere cool to hang out and stop causing me trouble!"
"Stormfront’s powers are decent enough, but the water runs too deep for you, kid. You can’t handle it!" Lucas shook his head.
Poor Homelander, being played like a fiddle by Stormfront.
However, Soldier Boy still needed to be dealt with.
New Jersey.
An abandoned industrial area.
Following his bloodline intuition and using his super vision, Lucas didn’t have much trouble finding Soldier Boy.
After all, on the entire planet, Supe with such formidable vitality could be counted on one hand.
Soldier Boy was still wearing that hospital gown, and his mental state seemed much more stable. At the very least, after Lucas kicked the reinforced door and sent it flying hundreds of meters away, Soldier Boy just looked stunned.
He didn’t immediately try to blast him.
"Hey, little boy, can’t find your Daddy?" Lucas looked at Soldier Boy with a mischievous grin.
Soldier Boy swallowed hard.
He already knew he had been asleep for a long time and that the outside world had undergone earth-shattering changes, but he hadn’t interacted with any humans yet.
The person in front of him was clearly a Supe.
But that expression... he didn’t have same-sex tendencies, did he?
Soldier Boy saw the cape behind Lucas, and it seemed to trigger some underlying code within him.
"Who the f*ck are you?" Soldier Boy narrowed his eyes. "Did you escape from some film set, clown?"
"Whoa, someone’s got a temper! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Guardian, and my duty is to guard my world!" Lucas crossed his arms.
"By your standards, I am the most powerful Supe in the world today."
"Guardian? F*ck you!! You’re still wearing a cape, you idiot! Did you wrap your curtains around yourself?" Soldier Boy sneered.
"Hey, old man, times have changed. This thing called a cape is called fashion!"
"Believe it or not, I don’t even have to lift a finger. One swipe of my cape and you’ll be wearing diapers for the rest of your life, drooling every time you try to speak!"
Soldier Boy walked over. "Cut the crap. What do you want?"
"It’s definitely not to f*ck you. I’m here today to point you toward a bright future."
"Get lost!"
"Tsk tsk, with your washed-up state, you can’t afford this attitude. Do you want to return to the spotlight? If no one backs you, you’ll just be stuck in a strip club hanging out with steel wool."
Lucas stood with his hands behind his back, floating back and forth in the air.
"My request is simple: work for me, and I’ll send you back to that position in the limelight. If you want to find some older women, you’ll need money to do that."
To be honest, with the old soldier’s looks, he could probably charm anyone in Hollywood without spending a dime. Pure freebies.
"Work for you? Hahahaha!" Soldier Boy couldn’t help but laugh.
"You? Seriously, bro? When I woke up, things were already weird enough. Some guy on the street was shouting ’Black Lives Matter,’ and a woman came up to ask if I wanted to spend some money, and it turned out she had a package!"
"And you! A guy in the early 20s, claiming to be the most powerful Supe in all of America?"
"F*ck, did World War III break out? Did the all the adults in the world died out there?"
The old soldier instinctively pinched his fingers, only to remember he was penniless and couldn’t even afford a pack of cigarettes.
Lucas vanished in an instant and reappeared just as quickly. He already had a box of cigars in his hand.
"Want some nicotine?" Lucas pinched a cigar; it looked like high quality.
"Fine." Soldier Boy dropped his aggressive posture in a second. You’re handing out smokes, so what else is there to say, brother!
"But kid, I’ll be honest. Capes are specifically for cowards who can’t keep their pants on."
Lucas raised an eyebrow, not angry at all.
If Soldier Boy dared to say that in front of Nolan or Superman, and he didn’t end up drooling within three seconds, Guardian would be a pinky finger!
"What if I don’t work for you?"
Soldier Boy inhaled, finding the stuff satisfying. Back when he was a normal human, he wouldn’t dare inhale this stuff, but now it didn’t feel very strong—just average.
"Vought doesn’t have a male model agency, but I can help you open one. An old-timer helping people get some action, I think there’s a real market for that." Lucas tossed the box of cigars to Soldier Boy.
Soldier Boy was a bit annoyed. To be honest, his morning grumpiness hadn’t dissipated yet.
"Heh, kid, let’s see what you’re made of." Soldier Boy, with the cigar in his mouth, stepped forward and threw a punch.
After decades of testing by the Russians, Soldier Boy’s strength had reached T0 tier; one punch could send a tank flying. He confidently smashed toward Lucas’s face, expecting this punch to knock the young man out instantly.
"Bang!" The fist slammed solidly into Lucas’s face. Lucas didn’t move an inch; he didn’t even furrow his brow.
Instead, Soldier Boy couldn’t hold it together; a crisp cracking sound came from his knuckles. Intense pain instantly coursed through his entire body.
Wait, are you kidding me? He stared at his hand in disbelief.
This... how is this possible! He could punch through a tank, was this kid’s face harder than adamantium?
"Tsk tsk tsk!" Lucas shook his head.
"Is that it? With that little strength, you want to be a superhero? I think you should just root yourself in a gay bar; in some places, you’re just like a total queen!"
Soldier Boy clutched his fist, looking confused.
"Gay?" He frowned. "What does that word refer to now?"
Lucas laughed. "You know, gay? You’re the one on the bottom."
"F*ck you!" Soldier Boy raised his other fist and smashed it toward Lucas again.
"Snap!" Without a doubt, the other hand of the Sucking Boy was also injured. Dealing 1000 damage to himself, and 0.000001 to the enemy.
Soldier Boy winced in pain, his face full of absurdity. Is Vought’s new drug that strong? Had he fallen behind the times?
A young punk, standing still and letting him hit him, could still cause him to take damage from the recoil.
"Don’t waste your effort. Save your energy. Even if you smashed your hands for a hundred years, you wouldn’t be able to hurt a single hair on me." Lucas shook his head. "Now watch this!"
He raised his hand and held up one finger. Invincible... flick!
"Bang!" The next second, Soldier Boy flew out like a cannonball. He tumbled through the air, crashing through several factory walls before slamming into the ground and rolling several times, finally being stopped by a steel beam. With just that one hit, he had flown over a hundred meters.
"Cough... cough cough..." Soldier Boy spat out a mouthful of bloody saliva. His head was buzzing, and the scene before him was doubling. It seemed he had been flicked into a concussion.
