The Coffee Shop in a Different World Station

37 New stores and new sign products nearing completion (3/4 pt.)

"Phew, you're full. I'm satisfied."

Nyarch raises his groaning voice as he rubs his creased stomach.

I should have made more fabrics, they were completely used up and just left about a few on the plate.

Fidel calls out to Nyarch for a happy look.

"With that said, I don't think I was twirling along the way for saying it was twirling fun..."

"It's okay because you're here. Men who care about deception get teased, huh?

"Oh, well, is that...?

Fidel sends her gaze to Takumi to ask for help.

Takumi only shrugged her neck without saying anything.

Luna, who finished eating beautifully until the last one of the minutes she had it taken apart, takes a sigh of relief.

"It was really delicious! By the way, I can't get this out at the store. Huh? I think it's going to be very popular..."

"That's right, what do you think of Fidel?

"Um, it sure tastes great, doesn't it? I think eating at Atsuatsu also has an impact. But..."

Fidel that separates words and once puts them between them.

Takumi dared not say anything and waited still for the next word.

On the side, Luna also swallows her solitary spit and watches.

After a while, Fidel began to talk her thoughts as she chose words one by one.

"I do think I can cook this taco yaki as long as I make the dough. But isn't this a short time to eat deliciously?

"Hmm, how could that be?

"I think the deliciousness of this octopus lies in the crunchiness of the surface and the tropical texture inside. I noticed while I was eating a few, it just got a little chilly, which makes me feel a lot less attractive there."

"Uh, it sure could be. Sometimes the surface feels a little like fried food, and it's going to get sticky over time."

Luna seems to think the same as Fidel.

Takumi also nodded at the two opinions and began to talk about her own experiences.

"Where I used to live, there were places that made taco yaki and sold it in small stores like stalls and Fidel-kun stores. However, even in places like that, it was basically fundamental to buy“ baked ”and get it as soon as possible. If it got cold while I was taking it home, I would warm it up again at home before eating it."

"I knew it, didn't I? I think it would be a little difficult to handle in this store. It takes a while to bake every order, and I was wondering if it would be a little different if I had to eat it as soon as I got on the train, even if I served corner baking."

"Hmm, it tastes so good when it's freshly made... Difficult."

Both Fidel and Luna wrinkle between their brows.

"If it's a product, it can't just be“ delicious. "I need to think about where and how the people who bought it will eat it and make“ delicious "..."

"But I feel a little wasted giving up right away. It's fun to see where you're twirling, and I think everyone would be happy to serve freshly made in stores."

"Right. I've been taught these interesting tools because of them, and they mean you just have to devise fabrics and contents to make them delicious even if they're cold. Yeah...... Takumi, could you lend me this for a while if you want?

Takumi concurs with Fidel's words.

"Yeah, I don't mind that. Just be careful not to get too caught up in this shape."

"What? What does that mean?

"This is just a tool you made to make a" taco yaki ”. This is not necessarily the best shape depending on what you make. I don't mind using it as a prototype to think about direction, but if you're going to give it as a product, you have to think hard about what shape it should take and how big it should be."

"Sure......, heh, it's tough -"

Luna encourages Fidel with a difficult head.

"Good luck, Mr. Fidel, I'll help you too!

"Right. All right, Luna, it's nice to meet you!

"Ha! Ah, Roland, I'll ask your brother to help you, too. Hey"

"Oh, yeah..."

Takumi speaks as she smiles at Fidel, whose tone drops subtly.

"If you have the tools you need, I'll arrange for Mr. Gustav to be able to ask for them, so please tell me at any time. Shall we open up around here today?"

"It's so aiming! Fidel, good luck to you and Luna! Well, you're annoying."

"Yes, yes, Nyarch, please clean up properly"

Takumi, who pinched the root of the Nyarch trying to take a seat, lifts it as it hangs.

Fun laughter stuck to the hall of the 'swordfish', as it signaled a fuzzy or thin squeal.

―――――

Then one day after a while, there were three figures in the kitchen of the 'swordfish': Fidel, Luna and Roland.

After repeated prototypes based on the "taco yaki” takumi taught me, I thought about the sun and the texture when it cooled down, and it was decided well enough to make it look like a cake made of sweet, fluffy fabric like pancakes.

That's where the problem was with "size".

Whether it should be as large or as small as possible, it was necessary to think about where the balance could be struck between "appearance” and “ease of making" as a product.

Fidel therefore asks Gustav through Takumi to prepare two types of copper plates that have changed the size of the indentation.

Today we were finally supposed to do a prototype with them.

At first it is a prototype using the best basic pattern, copper plates for tacoyakis borrowed from Takumi.

The dough, made in the same way as the pancakes prepared by Roland, is hand-separated by Fidel and Luna and baked on a copper plate.

After a while, the fluffy cake baked up like a small, round ball.

The three throw the Atsuatsu ballcake they could into their mouths.

After a quiet taste for a while, Fidel was the first to open his mouth.

"Yeah, well, that's good."

I mean, your fabric tastes good.

"Hey, salt plum, well baked, my arm is bringing out the dough, huh?

"It's delicious because you two are joining forces. But this..."

"Yeah, honestly, well, is this it? It feels like..."

Roland knocks down a long raven ear with a petan and arms.

Apparently, you feel like you're missing something.

On the other hand, in Fidel it seemed to be within the assumptions.

Change your mind immediately and get to work on your next prototype.

"Well, let's do a lot of things for now. Let's go with the little one over here next."

Fidel's next best bet was a copper plate made with the size of the indentation as the first half.

When I heated the oil pulled plate in the same way as the first one with seven rounds of firewood and added the dough, the juwer sounded much better just like earlier.

"Wow, that's a fast fire street."

"Look, if you don't give it back soon, it's gonna burn."

"I know!!

While in Roland, Fidel hurries to turn the dough upside down.

It's good to cook fast, but the dough burns quickly because of the speed around the heat.

In the end, only about half of the whole thing could be cooked up without scorching.

"This is tough. We need to weaken the firepower."

"Right. So, the finish is subtle, too. It's more crisp than it was earlier, but it's not plump at all."

"Hmm, this sounds better earlier..."

To Luna's words, Nodding Fidel.

But the failure of this hand also seemed to be in the area of expectations.

"Well, I know it's not going to work, so I guess that's okay? Let's get back on our minds and try this one now."

This was followed by a copper plate with an oversized indentation.

Seeing indentations more than double the size of the first plate, Roland sighs out.

"This is amazing. Looks like plenty of fabric...... Um, you got enough on hand?

"Well, I guess I can. Now, go well..."

Similar to the second prototype, whisk the oil and pour the dough in where it is sufficiently warmed.

The surrounding dough began to solidify better than I thought because it was baked on a copper plate that often conveys heat.

When the heat is applied carefully while turning it around, it eventually gives off a good aroma containing fragrance.

Although it took a little longer than the first prototype, it managed to bake the whole thing to the point where it stained dark tight colors.

It's an oversized ballcake.

Luna compares the size of her hand by holding it tight.

"It's about the size of my hand, isn't it? I'd be surprised if this was in line at the store!

"Sure, it looks, well, it looks good"

"And then there's the key flavor. It's just hard to taste one whole thing, so can I crack it?

"Right. That's a big one."

"Mr. Fidel, please."

Fidel nodding at the voices of both of them.

When you break the ballcake in half where the hot air still boils using the knife you prepared,

A thick cream of hocahoca poured out from inside.

Nevertheless, I don't recall filling the dough with cream in today's prototype.

In other words, there was one conclusion to be drawn from it.

"Wow! I didn't burn it inside!

Fidel screams unexpectedly.

Roland also makes his mouth a letter to and crumbles.

"Ahhh, that's just too big..."

"It looked good, but I can't eat it with this..."

To Luna's words, Fidel deepens the color of discouragement.

The “big ballcake” that I was hoping would be a sign if it went well ended in a huge failure and went down the road.

But I don't have time for this.

Fidel asks for a candid opinion from both of us.

"I wonder if that means the first one is the most balanced after all..."

"But then that doesn't have any impact at all, does it? Isn't that what makes Garretta (Sabre) and Madeleine more elaborate?

"Can't you have this one moulded like Madeleine too??

"I thought about that, but honestly, it's going to be hard to flip. Besides, whatever the flavor is, it just doesn't matter how it overlaps with Madeleine."

"That's right. Then we're not talking about buying Madeleine."

Three people think of Roland's words at the end, um, with a roar.

But a good idea is not something that comes up so easily.

After a period of silence dominates the field.

And Fidel was the first to raise his voice.

"Well, for now, I'm either going to do it in the size of a guy like Takoyaki, or have him make a mould like Madeleine..."

"But they're both bad, aren't they? What can I do to make something I can't sell? It's gonna be a bummer to open up for a while anyway, and it's gonna be Garretta and Madeleine, so I think we're gonna start when we come up with a good one later, huh?

"Nevertheless, there's something at the heart of it at first. Plus, it's pretty tough to put the equipment in later."

"Then you'll have something you know you can't sell? You can't prepare ingredients as cooks knowing they'll be wasted."

"I know that. That's why you're thinking there's no better way!

"What a way to put it! I'm talking about the shop, so think about it!!

"What a big rabbit!!

"I told you, you little fox!!!

"Ho! Not if we're both fighting. Huh! Meh, so sooo!

You've sensed it's been a familiar development, Luna, breaking in between you two.

And at some point, I pushed something I had prepared forcefully into their mouths.

Apparently something made from earlier fabrics.

On top of the fluffy, something with some mellow sweetness is on it.

Suddenly they were blocked in the mouth, a little muggled, gokun and throat through.

"Pfft. Ah, I'm surprised..."

"Yeah, Luna, that was a little forceful"

"I shouldn't have you two fighting. Shh. By the way, how was your taste?

"Yes, yes. That's a custard, isn't it? No, it was pretty good..."

"Yeah, it was pretty good. But when did you make it?

Luna reveals who she is, smiling so much, to the two of us who strike from the sinister atmosphere just now and change and line up the question marks amicably.

"Actually, I used the old failures from earlier. See, this way you can eat..."

Luna said so, placing a large ballcake on the slab and breaking it in two with a knife.

Just like earlier, this one's raw inside.

But Luna carefully spoons the raw part.

And while only the part that was cooked was left and the semi-circular vessel was formed, the custard cream prepared for prototyping was flushed.

"I thought it was a waste because the only thing I didn't burn was in the middle. Plus, if you add the cream, the crunchy calf will fade."

Luna serves a ballcake with the cream she can serve in front of the two of us.

The potpourri snapped as Fidel checked the taste again.

"I see, this is better than I thought. Hmm, then...?

Apparently Fidel came up with something.

Fidel raises her gaze to convey that idea.

Roland, who had eyes, lifted the corner of his mouth niggardly.

"Apparently, you've been thinking about me too."

"Well. You want to give it a shot?

"Oh, I don't know if I have to try anything. All right, let's make it before it's too late."

Fidel nods forcefully at Roland's words.

It's just the two of us breathing.

It was Luna who felt just a little envy for the two of them as they proceeded with the exchange with the breath of Azumi.
