These few Demon Fiends seemed to be the strongest among the attackers, second only to the Great Demon of the Insect Dao at the rear. Seeing their forces being single-handedly routed by Forbidden Calamity, they brazenly made their move.

Soon, the Great Buddha summoned by Forbidden Calamity was surrounded by these Demon Fiends. Bizarrely colored chains shot out from their bodies, instantly binding the Great Buddha and pulling its arms wide.

Its enormous Lotus Platform smashed the Demon Fiend deep into the earth, creating a huge crater and crushing the creature into a pile of mangled flesh.

The remaining Demon Fiends were all staggered by the impact, and the shockwave sent them reeling back a fair distance.

Against all odds, Forbidden Calamity, by its power alone, was forcefully suppressing the endless horde of Demon Fiends. Even when facing five Great Demon Fiends at the Late Stage of Zombie God, it held the upper hand.

Despite having just torn off its own arms, it quickly regenerated them after breaking free from the Demon Fiends’ restraints.

After absorbing and refining the flesh of the Demon Fiend it had just crushed beneath its Lotus Platform, the Great Buddha not only returned to its original state but grew even stronger. It immediately charged toward another Great Demon Fiend.

The Demon Fiend clearly hadn’t expected the Great Buddha to recover so quickly. Before it could coordinate with the other Great Demon Fiends, one of the Buddha’s massive hands pinned it down, followed by a relentless barrage of palm strikes.

Inside Nirvana City, within the Glazed Tower, Yang An had been watching the battle outside the walls, ready to support Forbidden Calamity at a moment’s notice.

But seeing Forbidden Calamity single-handedly beat back the horde, and even swiftly counter the combined assault of several Great Demon Fiends, he couldn’t help but feel a sense of admiration.
