Chapter 560 - 330: Killing Intent (3)
However, Bow Lady wasn’t the only one who could see Yang An.
"Who are you?"
Behind him, countless Demon Fiends stared at the suddenly-appeared Yang An. They had been about to tear Bow Lady to shreds once more, but now, they froze.
But Yang An paid them no mind.
Bow Lady cowered as she drew closer to him. He pulled her into a sudden embrace, patting her gently on the back as if soothing an injured kitten.
When Yang An’s hand touched Bow Lady’s body, all he could feel was an icy cold, like frost.
Bow Lady’s body trembled, but she didn’t resist. She just stared quietly at Yang An, a dazed look on her face.
"This ends now. I’m taking you away from here."
Yang An said slowly, then stood up as Bow Lady watched.
Having received no response from Yang An, the throng of Demon Fiends grew furious. Heedless of anything else, they charged.
’Even if this guy who just showed up is from Great Virtue Temple, we’ll still tear him to shreds. Hai Shu never said we couldn’t kill people from the temple.’
"You... deserve to die! All of you deserve to die!"
Yang An slowly turned. Facing the numberless Demon Fiends charging him in waves, he spoke in a cold tone, devoid of any emotion.
In that instant, a torrent of brilliant rays of light burst from Yang An’s body in a three-hundred-and-twenty-degree arc, spreading out in a flash.
The light pierced through the bodies of the Demon Fiends unimpeded, skewering them one after another like beads on an endless string.
Before the Demon Fiends could even reach Yang An, the brilliant radiance formed by innumerable rays of light had already swallowed them all.
The Demon Fiends couldn’t even let out a single scream. They were utterly unable to resist the immense power unleashed from Yang An—a fusion of Technique and the Power of Rules. They were all reduced to ash, and even the surrounding black mist disintegrated in an instant.
’If there weren’t so many Demon Fiends, and if I wasn’t in such a hurry to get Bow Lady out of here, I really wouldn’t have let these guys off so easily.’
’Letting them die so quickly wasn’t my intention, but right now, all I care about is Bow Lady.’
The once-clamoring Demon Fiends were all annihilated, vanishing without a trace.
Sitting behind Yang An, Bow Lady slowly processed the scene before her. The dazed look on her face began to clear.
Her Spiritual Wisdom was awakening. She knew this man was helping her.
"Come with me. Let’s leave this place."
As the light faded, Yang An extended a hand to Bow Lady.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Bow Lady slowly reached out and took his hand.
"Who is it?!"
But just then, several distorted figures appeared in succession from within the black mist.
In that one instant, the auras of all the other Demon Fiends had vanished. A powerful being had suddenly appeared in the Eternal Prison. This, in turn, had naturally drawn out those who hid in the shadows—the Demon Fiends who knew Hai Shu was just making more empty promises.
Holding Bow Lady’s cold hand, Yang An led her slowly away, completely ignoring the Great Demon Fiends that had just appeared.
"Stop! You..."
A Great Demon Fiend bellowed at Yang An. ’His Cultivation Level is only at the Middle Stage of Zombie God. To be able to kill so many Demon Fiends... this must be another one of that bastard Hai Shu’s tricks.’
But before it could finish speaking, a net woven from countless rays of light instantly spread out, enveloping it and the other Great Demon Fiends.
The words died in its throat. Terror flashed in the eyes of the Great Demon Fiends. But before they had time to dodge, they, too, were instantly reduced to ash, just like the others before them, completely powerless to resist.
"No one can stop me! No one!"
Yang An’s steps never faltered. He continued walking forward with Bow Lady, his killing intent flaring to its absolute peak.
He raised his head, looking up into the endless darkness above.
"And you!"
"Hai Shu! Get out here!"
