Shrouded by the widespread cataclysm, this place was still, as expected, pitch-black, rendering everything invisible.

The best plan now was to leverage the connection between Broken Armor and the 6th Floor, traveling through the Mutants’ carnage on the 6th Floor and the darkness of Broken Armor. This was a relatively low-risk and faster method.

Yang An hadn’t changed the direction he was facing. He glanced down at his hand; it was empty.

He had grabbed a Mutant on his way back to Broken Armor, but upon his return, the Mutant had vanished.

’So it’s impossible to bring people from the 6th Floor to Broken Armor?’ Yang An was a little disappointed.

If he could bring people from the 6th Floor to Broken Armor, they would be of immense help.

In contrast to the clamor and chaos of the 6th Floor, Broken Armor was filled with an eerie, deathly silence.

Yang An could feel the ruins still underfoot. Where a lush wilderness had once thrived, no vegetation survived, leaving behind only decaying yellow soil.

Yang An remained on high alert. Suddenly, an idea struck him.

Using the mask, he returned to the 6th Floor once more. The Mutant he’d grabbed was being rapidly corroded, tainted by the flesh and blood that had recently fallen.

Yang An knew what he was doing. At that moment, countless White Feathers bloomed from his back, launching an indiscriminate attack on the surrounding Mutants.

In a mere instant, over a dozen Mutants were run through by the White Feathers, drenching them in blood.

No one expected a sudden attack from the rear. By the time they reacted, all they could see was a masked figure, holding a strange weapon in one hand while the other seemed to be forming some kind of Seal Decision.

The next moment, Yang An’s figure vanished before the Mutants’ eyes.

Back in Broken Armor, countless points of fire suddenly appeared in the dim environment. Each light was the size of a fist, and they gathered together to form a huge fireball.

A smile spread across Yang An’s face as he looked at the illuminated scene before him.

’There’s no reason the Lighting Technique should work on the 6th Floor but not in Broken Armor. Since Broken Armor is filled with darkness, I’ll just go to the 6th Floor and borrow some fire.’

Illuminated by the firelight, everything within a radius of dozens of meters around Yang An became visible, which reassured him.

He’d lost count of how many times he’d been reminded of the importance of light. Especially in this dark world, without it, he couldn’t move an inch.

Aided by the firelight from the blood fueling the flames on his White Feathers, Yang An pressed forward.

Based on the situation on the 6th Floor, the battle between the Mutants stretched for an unknown distance. To get past it, he would have to travel a corresponding distance of at least several kilometers within Broken Armor.

Outside, he could cover several kilometers with just a thought.

Even in Broken Armor, where he couldn’t use his powers, it would take twenty seconds at most, relying solely on his physical speed.

Now, however, that was no longer certain.

The flaming White Feathers now resembled a brilliant, fiery plume as Yang An weaved quickly through Broken Armor. A sense of danger rose in his heart.

Sure enough, as the firelight illuminated the path ahead, one twisted and grotesque figure after another appeared in Yang An’s vision.

Chains seemed to hang down from the cataclysmic darkness that shrouded the sky, each one dangling a monster from its end.

The first to charge was a tall, molting figure covered in gray markings. The moment Yang An saw it, it yanked the chain attached to its body and lunged toward him.

It was incredibly fast, crossing dozens of meters to appear before Yang An in an instant. Its chest suddenly split open into a gaping, bloody maw that snapped shut on him.

With a SNAP, it seemed to bite a black hole into the very air. But Yang An had vanished an instant beforehand, and its jaws closed on nothing.

Yang An’s strategy was to avoid combat. Seeing so many monsters in Broken Armor, each one giving off a dangerous feeling, he could only rely on his mask’s traversal ability and escape to the 6th Floor.

He reappeared on the 6th Floor, right where a Mutant was attacking. One of its arms reached for him, splitting vertically into two halves that resembled the vicious jaws of a sharp-snouted crocodile.

But before it could touch him, Yang An cut it down with a single slash.

Yang An had now plunged deep into the Mutants’ battlefield. The huge fireball burning on his White Feathers immediately drove the surrounding Mutants into a frenzy, as if they had been severely provoked.

Yang An had anticipated this chain reaction; in fact, it was exactly what he wanted.

He couldn’t let the flames on him go out; he still needed them to traverse Broken Armor. Black blood gushed from the Mutant he had cut down, and it was instantly set ablaze by the fire on Yang An’s White Feathers.

Yang An seized the opportunity to pass through the exploding flames, weaving past over a dozen frenzied Mutants and igniting the blood flowing from their bodies in turn. The blaze surged toward the sky.

The ground suddenly trembled. A gigantic lion’s head descended from the sky, its shadow enveloping Yang An and dozens of Mutants.

White flames spewed from the lion head’s mouth, instantly emitting a terrifying pulse of power.
