Chapter 2238: The Elvish High Emperor
Soon, an entourage of moon elves joined the meeting, and Arad had to send a quick request to Merlin asking her to expand the room’s size, which she did in seconds.
Just from that quick spell, every single competent mage among the elves knew for a fact that if they wanted to learn magic, Merlin was their target. She has the knowledge, skill, expertise, and power to stand above all mages.
One of the dark elf guards approached D. "What kind of magic is this? The room expanded and grew new material at the same time. The floor didn’t shift, and new furniture popped out."
D looked up with a tired face and shrugged. "Listen, even I don’t know. She is far above my level." She shook her head. "As much as I hate her and her smug face, I’ll drink her piss daily if it means she’ll teach one spell a decade. She is at the level of the magic goddess."
Both D and Merlin were wizards and witches, but were fundamentally different. D had lived for several thousand years, through reincarnation. Each time she finished two-thirds of her lifespan, she would give birth to herself and die. This is the reason D hates Merlin, because while she spent several lifetimes studying magic, Merlin curb-stomped and humiliated her and all of the world’s wizards in less than five decades.
"Me too... me too..." The elvish guard shook her head and looked at the four seats that now faced Arad. Cerilla, Jasmine, Li, and now Ashley. Those were who stood at the top of the elves.
"So..." Dalla mumbled, "We got an Elvish High King now?" And D chuckled, "No, we have an Elvish High Emperor." Here, and without anyone outside knowing, the history of the elves was getting written.
Cerilla smiled. "I’ve heard you just became the Spirit Emperor ruling over the spirit Queens, and now you’re standing above the elves..." Her words, albeit quiet, shook the entire room as no one beside the queen had heard of what happened with the spirits recently.
Arad wasn’t just growing an empire, he was slowly overtaking the entire mortal world as its absolute leader. The elves had known that Arad is power and that his influence is just immeasurable, but to think that he could tame even the Spirit Queens.
Noticing their shocked faces, Isdis waved her hand with a smug smile. "Well, he took in the Fire Goddess Kossuth and her Elemental Plane of Fire, and got a Formal invitation to marry Zephyr and inherit the Elemental Plane of Air, so I was thinking of figuring out a way to get him to the Elemental Plane of Water and Elemental Plane of Earth as well."
Even though that sounded like madness, knowing what had already been achieved, it was very possible. "Really? Want more?" One of the high elf guards asked, and a wood elf guard nodded. "I know that he already achieved a lot, but won’t those two places be dangerous?"
They weren’t wrong, but were in fact spot on. Even if Arad managed to tame Kossuth, that was just because she took interest in him, and if she really wanted him dead, she could’ve killed him. So since they don’t know how powerful Zephyr’s father is, they have no idea what they will face in the other two Elemental Planes.
"It’s not like we’re going to start a war with them. With Arad having connections with both the Air and Fire, we could easily get connections with the remaining two, and safely. I’m having Kossuth share information to make that possible." She lifted one of her legs, put it over the other, rested her chin on her hands, and then gave the elvish queens a look.
"Leaving that aside, can I take it as you approving of Arad as the Elvish High Emperor?" Under her gaze, Li flinched, but by luck, Cerilla took the lead. She stood with a smile on her face, approached Arad, and got down to her knees.
"I, the High Elf Queen, prostrate myself to the Great Emperor." She bent down, kissed his feet, and prostrated herself. Looking at her butt, everyone could see just how drenched she was down there.
Not wasting any time, Jasmine stood next and did the same, taking her place beside Cerilla. Li came after and was followed by Ashley. With all of them down, they stood up and sent messengers back to their castles all over the world. A new Elvish High Emperor had been elected. This news was to remain secret until the Wood Elves publicly declared merging into the empire.
The news shook the courts, as it was an unprecedented situation, and what terrified nobles the most was that a war between the Dark and High elves was now nearly impossible, unless they were willing to antagonize their High Emperor.
Those nobles immediately rushed to Yggdrasil to meet their High Priestess and Miko, the Tree maiden, whose measurements are based on her body. They wanted to confirm with her whether this new emperor had any authority or not, and whether the elves should revolt and ask their queens not to bow their heads to him.
What they heard was impossible to believe.
They found their holy maiden sitting in the middle of the spring shrine beneath the world tree base. She wore her usual one-piece white dress and watched the lotus flowers growing in silence.
"Your Holiness! We got important news. The Dragon called Arad Orion had seduced the elvish queen and now claims himself High Emperor... we’re in grave times... we seek your wisdom!" They knelt at the entrance of her spring, and she looked at them with cold eyes.
They all flinched and slowly lifted their heads to look at her. What they noticed was that she was blushing, and a large dark spot had appeared on the lower part of her dress. "I wonder how it’ll feel inside me..." She mumbled, then waved her hand, spawning two identical clones of herself from the tree, but one was a dark elf, and the other was a wood elf.
"What... do you mean, Your Holiness!?" One of the elves gasped, and she glared right back at him, lifted her hand, and vines grew out of the ground, wrapped themselves around his neck, and lifted him up.
"A new High Emperor has appeared. From now on, men beside him aren’t allowed to look at me. Leave before I gouge your eyes out." She threw the elf out, and soon everyone else ran out of the spring.
The elvish women who stayed behind looked at her. "What about us?"
"If you stay here, then your bodies and souls belong only to the emperor. Leave if you don’t want that. From now on, you must ask for formal permission from the emperor to see me." She smiled, "This is indeed the beginning of a new era for the elves."
Those elvish women all ran out, except one, who was the young one who had spent the past years tending to the priestess. "Your Holiness, I want to stay."
She looked back at her with a smile. "Then what are you waiting for? My body won’t massage itself."
