Chapter 2183: The Nuclear Chaos Unleashed

At the instant that Arad spoke and looked toward the royal castle where Zaleria and Amber were, Kossuth’s voice shook the entire plan. [How amusing, a dragon on my sacred land. Do you dare stand against me?]

The moment that Eris heard that, she knew that she only had a fraction of a second to act before someone died. Kossuth might not mind her coming here, but Arad is a dragon, so showing up in her territory uninvited could be considered rude. Even with that, Eris was almost certain that Kossuth wouldn’t attack Arad normally and that she was only doing it to either test him or have some fun.

But that was a huge problem, especially in Arad’s current situation where his human moral compass is broken. By the time Eris managed to gather those thoughts in her head, the white star above them was already accelerating down at blinding speed, and the fabric of space around had already cracked as Arad was about counter with just as much violence.

Should she save the djinns, try to restrain Arad, or tell the divine goddess to back away? She didn’t have the time for any of them, and the star coming down was already several times bigger than anything she could ever muster or control, not to mention several orders of magnitude hotter.

Not even Arad should be able to block it and would most likely end up half killed... Trying to keep Arad safe from the heat with her divine magic was probably the best option. But as she tried to act, she realized just how much she had underestimated Arad, who doesn’t care about collateral damage, the laws of nature, or what anyone else wants besides his own draconic greed.

The entire fabric of space around them had shattered, and so did the fabric of time that was linked to it. The divine star coming down at their heads couldn’t fall anymore, as there was no space below for it to physically fall into. Then, Arad let space reform again, but this time, upside down.

All of the divine energy that Kossuth sent down now fell upward, and flew right back at the divine palace it was fired from. As the entire star flashed even brighter than the star itself in a burst of divine magic, Arad disappeared from Eris’s side as he used Vorvadoss’s magic to fly right into the divine goddess’s domain.

^Merlin! Arad is going to fight Kossuth! She picked a fight with him, and he flew away!^ Eris immediately tried to call Merlin, but noticed that she couldn’t, since Arad was using so much of his own power that the accelerated communication through his stomach was now nearly impossible, and due to the distance, it could take her message years to reach Merlin, flying through normal space channels.

Arad used Vorvadoss’s magic to instantly teleport into Kossuth’s heaven, but he wasn’t able to teleport directly to her inner sanctum due to countless anti-abomination defences. Of course, almost immediately, he was swarmed by all of her present archons, and there were thousands of them, all confused and horrified at the monstrosity that suddenly appeared in the middle of their safe heaven.

A massive black dragon that shattered space and time had its long and forked tongue out like a rabid dog, and just looking at its crazed draconic eyes would send a weak angel into a panic episode.

Arad reeked of abominable magic, draconic magic, divine magic, curses, blood magic, and even several laired folds of strange power that they couldn’t even comprehend. It took their oldest a second to notice, and by that time, all of the archons were already either blind or dying. What stood in front of them was not a dragon, but a drakaina. A horrifying mixture of a dragon and a Nymph.

The Nymph’s beauty was like a flashbang, blinding or outright killing everyone around. The weak angels fell, the archons cried in pain as their eyes burned, and soon after, or before, as time and space were already shattered, they got lost in the chaos while being grilled by the absurd energy released from Arad breaking down matter.

No matter how powerful the fire archons were, fire itself could never capture someone like Arad. But there were indeed more than a few of the archons who managed to resist, and those were either petrified by Doma’s Medusa curse, poisoned by Arad’s pricolici venom, or outright assassinated by one of the tentacles of Nyar’s avatar.

Arad never stayed in one place; he never stuck to one thread of space, and even shifted through time as he turned into a pure storm of chaos and nuclear annihilation. All of the angels that were anywhere close got obliterated in the blink of an eye, and the archons who managed to endure the devastation and stay in one piece were reminded of one existence. When the forces of peace almost started a fight with Arad after his fight with Eris, this is how they would have ended up.

AO wasn’t called the Nuclear Chaos for no reason. "STOP HIM!" The oldest archon flew through the devastation, chasing Arad, who clearly was violently ripping his way through space and time, trying to reach Kossuth’s throne room. But since even he, their strongest and fastest, was caught off guard and couldn’t keep up, he failed, and Arad was the first to reach the throne room, breaking in like he was the end of existence taken form.

The way Arad could move so fast had even horrified the oldest of Kossuth’s archons. Arad used his void step to teleport, shattered space and time to move faster, and even accelerated forward by releasing a jet of energy from his rear end like a jet. That jet also worked to burn everyone who tried to chase him down to ash.

As Arad landed in the throne room as a dragon of pure nothing, darkness, and nuclear devastation, one half melted into his void while the other half of the throne room was illuminated by Kossuth’s titanic white draconic body, even though she was supposed to be a red drakaina.

The oldest archon landed in the throne room second, charred, and he was utterly horrified to see that Arad’s presence had managed to swallow half of the throne room where Kossuth slept. What in the nine hells was this monstrosity, and in which hole was he hiding until now?

"BASTARD! This is a divine..." The archon screamed, but before he could finish, Arad dropped a massive pile of heads right in the middle of the throne room, and those were the severed heads of all the angels and archons that he killed. Pretty much all the angels that were caught up in his charge, and a few hundred archons.

The scene was so horrifying that the archon shut up immediately. He had fought in many wars against the abominations, yet he had never seen such a massive pile of angel corpses in one place. It was enough that he almost puked on the spot. There was a point in the past where an Avatar of Nyar managed to sneak into the core of a base and massacre a lot of angels, but it wasn’t this quick, this bloody, and this unrelenting.

There was a point in the past where an Avatar of Nyar managed to sneak into the core of a base and massacre a lot of angels, but it wasn’t this quick, this bloody, and this unrelenting. Nyar’s avatar at least talks, moves, and fights like a regular monster... this thing here was more like a force of nature than a living being.

"You killed so many of my angels in less than a second." Kossuth moved her head and looked at him with a smile. "Was it worth it?"

"I hope it wasn’t worth it for you." He glared right back at her. "Eris can survive such a hit, but if it landed, Amber would’ve been burned as well." The entire space around him started cracking. "I only came to check on my wife... if you’re getting in my way, then are you hiding something?"
