The Economics of Prophecy

11 Stories: First Half Qualifying Results

"I knew it was more ground than a carriage."

In Bertoldo's workshop, I did everything I could. Even though it has been shortened, the trips of three and a half days are still burdensome. I'm plain happy to be able to sleep in bed tonight alone.

"You're a jerk."

"Real grandpa, that's bullshit."

I held my hips down and pointed at Fulsey, who had fallen asleep in her bed. He was happy with the data coming together on the road, but he remembered back pain as soon as he got to the workshop.

Still, I gather two artisans in front of the bed to ask about the carriage. Probably even trying to increase the accuracy of mobile observatories. The figure of not forgetting the exploratory mind is a boulder.

The two of them, who are black-and-white in their eyes at the question of the early arrow succession, sent Noel a gaze to seek salvation. It's a baron to them, and don't worry about it.

I'll talk to Mr. Bogan and the others, too.

"Oh, check on the mold."

"I know. Because of you, the situation is more pressing than it was when you left here."

"It's not me. The First Knights and the Carriage Guild."

Without answering my objections, Noel turned to Fulsey.

"Are you a new girl again? Don't worry too much about Meer."

Jacob, who rendezvoused in the workshop, said.

"Where is the current business conversation? For the most part, Meer is closer to me when it comes to her. Tell me more about the qualifiers."

"… Copy"

It's been a long time since I've slept on a soft bed, and there's a pile of things I need to clean up. All bad for the Second Prince Faction.

"First of all, the Knights. The first three arrived in Bertoldo this morning. I mean, don't expect to have connected King's Capital to Bertoldo in almost three days. Of course, three improved carriages from Prince Craig's Warcraft Knights. And then about five minutes later, six of the First Knights, and half an hour later, the remaining three of the Warcraft Knights, are in order."

"About a half-day difference? As expected."

"Though I felt like I could afford the prince's horse. The First Knights felt exhausted, both horses and men."

Short-distance doesn't make a difference if you force a horse to. But this race is a long journey with heavy baggage.

"The only thing that had more impact was Kenwell, who followed the Prince's three cars. The other carriages seemed to follow the First Knights at their best. Half fell off in the qualifying round. There are even participants who have crushed their horses. I guess the load weighed in."

Is this an overwhelming difference? We haven't even arrived in Bertoldo yet. I was right to reset once in Bertoldo.

"I can tell by the ride, but that's a big deal. It's not just the speed. Travel fatigue is completely different"

"You're doing so well you're disgusting"

I said. But Jacob shook his head.

"You had four new carriages among the participants in the general frame. Two of them have not arrived in Bertoldo. The two remaining cars are second and fourth in the qualifying round to Kenwell. I don't know what that means for your ranking for the last half day."

"Two carriages of carriage guild breath, you're free to move."

He knew he'd never beat us in the qualifying round to Bertoldo. The seriousness of the carriage guild is not actually the ratio of the Knights. As it stands, both the Knights and the general public are smashed with improved carriages in Bertoldo.

"We're going to have to use extraordinary means. Naturally they will be targeted..."

"Oh, more than defeated. I can unload it too. They'll hide the license plates, too."

"Whatever the compensation is if I break it, I can't peel off the plate of true iron without a proper blacksmith."

Then the other side is in full sight. I saw Fulsey preaching about the antenna to the craftsmen.

Measurements were made successfully. It's a headache measurement, but we're free to move home.

"I'd rather you set me up. That's the situation. Still good at hunting people down."

Jacob looked at me and held up one cheek. It's just a job that won't be rough, and it's compelling.

"People listen too badly. This is our home grand. It's natural to be in your favor."

I can predict the means and timing of the opponent. Even people who can move are limited.

"That's why it's easiest for you to give up,"

"Heh heh. Well, it's not just the prince anyway, he's got people moving over there. We're all set."

Jacob said with a hunter-like eye.

"How about that carriage?"

I said my biggest concern. Carriage The guild leader's carriage was lost on the way. Normally, he disappeared. He hid himself, just like the two cars, or he's retired.

"You're third. They didn't catch a move until the Knights showed up near Bertoldo either."

"You couldn't get a move on us or on the Knights, third place?

You mean you went through a rather strange route? I saw the map.

"Shortcuts here, for example, will greatly reduce the distance..."

"It takes extra time if you think normally. Or the carriage could be broken."

Breaking through the qualifying round means seeking official ranking. It's fatal for the Carriage Guild Leader's Chamber of Commerce to lose the qualifying round, and I know that. Since it starts according to the qualifying order, the time difference in qualifying is not an issue. The three carriage guilds will be right behind Kenwell.

"The main selection has to go through the checkpoint. I'm not free to choose a route like qualifying. Let me observe carefully. Worst of all, I'm not a commercial competitor for specially made goods."

"Right."

Jacob pointed to the map. From Bertoldo to the King's Capital, there are three signs on it. Distance from the forest or the surrounding sight. Conditions are written.

"Then, as that carriage can be left to the young husband to swim, and more..."

"Well, I'll be in touch because the allies are going to make their own moves with the current plan."

Jacob said after the consultation.

"Speaking of which, don't the First Knights have to care?

"Oh, I can't move on or pull off anymore. It's a dilemma."

Ask only Fujiko to keep about the First Knights. I mean, I'd like you to focus on that.

"Bogan and Dolph need to talk."

When Jacob disappeared outside the workshop, Noel followed two artisans.

"How is the production efficiency of the bearings"

"The work process almost solidified. The rate of defective products has decreased considerably."

"I have also gained experience installing the Knights carriage and that big businessman. The rules have been grasped for adjusting the spring on every carriage."

"It's going well. Enough with a few of them."

The Knights and Kenwell, plus a few more cars, and just the two of us will have enough hands.

"If more people just do it to take burrs and polish, yes, you can make about ten a day. Even apprenticeships should be possible if they work out for a month or two. Anyway, it's too good to be done when it's out of the mould."

"Ha, you've had a hard time handling true iron for that matter"

"This one's a little harder. A lot of my people are interested. But I knew it. No matter how much the Grand Duke lived, it has always been..."

"Do you think it's a noble whim?"

Dolph put his head on my words. I know how you feel. I'd be on guard if I wasn't involved from scratch, too. Power is good when you're in good shape, but when you're turned around, recoil comes as soon as you can. There is a feeling of tiger momentum. The high level of volatility is natural given the economic situation of the artisans to be vigilant.

I'm putting pressure on craftsmen, I just need to do something about Bertoldo carriage merchants. Pegatta was the name, wasn't it? You're under the umbrella of Wang Du's guild leader.

Regardless of the warnings to craftsmen and the threat of names, for example, given the harm done to them and their families, there are limits to how to protect the Grand Duke's knees. Already these two have become too precious people ”wealth."

In the future, it absorbs blurred humans from the countryside, but not in the present situation of two professional craftsmen. There's human development between veterans and amateurs.

"I will also think about the number of people here. Well, are you ready over there?

When I heard it, Bogan and Dolph got all together and looked sinister.

"It also involves bringing people together, thank you."

I dared to smile. As a cautious person, I can sympathize with their hesitation, but you can't say that. At least as far as this one is concerned, the craftsman has to be asked to come forward a little longer.
