The Economics of Prophecy

Four Stories: Part One The Law of Psychological Inertia

The grand conference room of the royal palace was unnecessarily covered in thick columns and decorative Huamei murals. It is the kingdom lords who come in there one after the other. Seeing the seats buried from behind, it still seems to be in order of identity.

From me, the second prince valve "Come" sits on the left, and the third prince valve "Mikata" sits on the right.

Sandwiched by those two, it's neutral to look left and right uncomfortably, rather than many others. Only the First Knights leader, who lowered his hips slightly in the central front row, is grand at first sight.

Behind the conference room there is an obscure stage, and a kebbly chair sandwiched between the sandalwood stage and the map sits a heartfelt, nasty, full-sea. I'm the assistant behind it. Of course I don't like the bottom of my heart, but I don't give it to the expression.

Eight Mikata on the right, eight Coming on the left, and about twenty strong neutrals? A total audience of less than forty. A man of nobility. Was there more than three hundred kingdom aristocrats than the Baron? Sure, that's about the number of famous houses in the Edo period. There must have been a saying of three hundred marquises.

The old Baron of New America sitting in front of me treats him as a so-called knowledgeable man and probably has no voting rights. To me, it probably doesn't count as human from the majority here.

Our Grand Duke Euphilia and Grand Duke Kurtheit were the last to appear. Divide left and right without a meeting and move to the front row of left and right.

Zah.

Suddenly everyone else stood up, wondering why both Grand Dukes remained. A beat late and Fulsey gets up. And I drool my head towards the entrance.

That was your meeting.

I could afford another beat or two that would have been delayed. Because I've been standing from the beginning.

At the head of the Chancellor, the king and the second and third princes took a high seat. Of course, the central seat is the throne.

When it comes to why I see it, it's because I forgot to bow my head. Well, figurines don't bow their heads or anything, so it's okay, right?

"We will now begin a previous meeting to determine our policy towards the Empire."

The meeting began by decree of the Prime Minister. First of all, let me explain the situation. It is for this reason that Fulsey was called.

"- Let the fear of this warcraft be that the entity is a flock"

First, it is explained that the earlier calamity was caused by the Empire's sown warcraft. Fulsey rapped just to explain the ecology of the Warcraft, but no one in the venue's attention is right there.

It is the first time in fifty years that the Empire has laid hands on the kingdom, even in twenty years, from the Felbach turmoil.

Neutralists bothered. On the left, in the Second Prince's Valve, the Grand Duke of Kurtheit looks like he has scuffed a bitter bug. I see agitation around the perimeter. Even the second prince somehow surprised me in the face.

This is followed by an explanation of the fact that the Empire is using more powerful warcraft than horses. It's the result of an analysis of the shit I did with Dalgan and the decryption of Meer. Incidentally, the cipher suggested the empire could mobilize at least a few hundred horse dragons.

Craig and Euphilia sitting on the right have a tattooed attitude. The central aristocrats are putting upset on the table. And the most notable Grand Duke and Second Prince of Kurtheit......

Are you upset about something? You were in a hurry that the empire's insights were so known?

Incidentally, the cipher suggested the existence of another unit comparable to the horse dragon unit. On this occasion I am lying low. Unlike horse dragons, there is no clear evidence, because the details are unknown. How do I know the majority of kingdom nobles don't know?

Fulsey takes her seat after she finishes her explanation. I ran a little too far for my hobby, but I think it was a good presentation. The Empire is planning to use a warcraft called the sticky fungus to cause confusion in the kingdom, and is further preparing to invade the kingdom with a warcraft called the horse dragon.

This is an understandable scenario with an Imperial Warcraft weapon on its axis.

"Since the earlier wars, hostility from empire to kingdom is evident. Nevertheless, the Empire has accused the Kingdom of unilaterally banishing the Chief of Mission and capturing the Crown Princess Lisaberto, asking for out-of-contest compensation. I asked the lords to gather to discuss their response to this situation."

The Prime Minister adds the diplomatic situation.

Now, what will the great men of the kingdom judge for the information given? I want you to show me the judgment I deserve for the Takalo I'm eating. Because the survival of the Takalo depends on it.

"Let's have it wait. Isn't the Baron's explanation somewhat exaggerated? For the sake of the Empire's attack, the Cavaliers will not have a single victim in the disaster ahead."

"That's right. Are you exaggerating trivialities because the Odd vs. Demonic Knights appeal to the achievements of the first line? We've also received reports that the mighty warcraft was burned down by the villagers."

It was the Grand Duke of Kurtheit who stood up. It was the second prince who multiplied it. The Second Prince's words are true. In case of a leak in the sweep, the surrounding villages are told what to do if a mucus appears. Mucus here can handle it.

Unexpectedly, the fist is powered. It is natural for enemies to speak and act hostilely. Enemies and allies are no more than positions in relation to national scale. Extremely speaking, I can't afford to hate you, contempt and other things are out of the question. All we need is vigilance for one or two.

Further possibilities for dialogue must not be closed. That's even true for the Empire. The enemy is man.

But traitors are not even enemies. I don't deserve to be treated as an enemy "carrot". Not because they're not actually human, even they should have their place. That's just how dangerous it is.

But the more unconscious the traitor, the more angry he will even be treated as an enemy.

Well, even if you look at the history of the original world Chiku, it's a force that lived in both the east and west and the times of the ocean. I'm also very normal in that sense.

"But it will be true that the empire's chief of mission or empress fled without explanation"

The First Knight Commander stood up. Neutral gaze concentrates on him. Even that one is military. I want to expect a decent decision.

"But as for the horse dragon and the horse dragon, let's not lose our necks. Can such a powerful warcraft be served by man, empire? I don't want to doubt it, but it's not like the Knights Against Demons are doing it to claim that they have command of the battle against the Empire."

I didn't have that idea. What a creative opinion. Do you first consider a threat to your authority, not a threat to the Kingdom of Warcraft?

Please, keep your mouth shut and stop breathing at once. Forever if you can. No, isn't that yummy? In this case, the number two is generally even worse. At least, if I cut this guy's neck off, I'll have to judge who's coming up.

And I can't afford that.

"Yes, if something like that really exists, I want you to show me the real thing"

Statements jumped out of the middle swarm. Is that about the Viscount from where you're sitting back there? I know very little about the noble face of the kingdom as a civilian. You're called to this place, and you're unprepared? Fulsey missed the call, and I heard it two days ago.

"The border defence system has been loose over the last fifty years. Whatever, doesn't it make sense to review that?

A nobleman who was next to the First Knight made a statement. Oh, the Duke, the husband of the First Princess? It's maggot-colored, and lacking in this situation, but it's a decent opinion.

"Wouldn't such a move, in turn, inspire an empire? Empires can't live without food in our country, I don't think they would commit suicide against the kingdom."

The Grand Duke of Kurtheit came. The nobles around him synchronized. Do it. The damage to the dragon is causing financial problems in the realm. In short, they don't want to give money to the defense.

"When it comes to repairing fortifications that have been largely unused for fifty years, we cannot afford to..."

Even from the neutrals, the bump and opposition start to rise. When I hear what you're saying, it sounds like you have territory in the west.

The Chancellor looks at the East-West feud, which remains faceless, and the Neutralists, caught between it and the right and left. Somehow, the debate continues without tightness. The Takaist "Mikata" gradually becomes at a disadvantage because the First Knight Commander is negative to Craig.

The look on Euphilia and Craig's face is harsh, but hasn't changed much since the beginning. Could it be assumed?

Apparently I was the only one who was sweet. Accurate and obvious information, that is, the Empire is using warcraft weapons to attack the kingdom, and he thought that if he gave it, it would come together against his enemies.

I was also under the illusion that the second prince valve would be okay to say whatever it was because of the circumstances of the recent loss of prestige and the prime minister who pulled it back to neutrality.

In short, there is a strong psychological inertia to the situation so far. The lack of realism of the crisis that came down also helps. As far as the age of the participants is concerned, no one knows first-hand the war against the Empire.

In the end, until we had a break at the Chancellor's suggestion, there was just a meeting to talk about each other's conveniences.
