The Economics of Prophecy

One story, prep.

It had been three days since it had passed through the realm of the Fei Long and was greeted by the Imperial Horse Dragon Squad at the entrance of Maldoras. We were moving to the Lordship Hall overlooking the basin of Maldoras. The mansion was qualitative by Kingdom standards.

Two floors and the number of rooms doesn't work for ten, but does it feel like a regional aristocratic hall about the Viscount? My assessment is that it is not a bad venue for negotiation. Land patterns or buildings have a high percentage of trees. It's not Japanese-style, but wooden floors and columns can feel the flair. Aren't they friendly to civilians who are being defrauded of inappropriate roles as envoys, such as the one conveyed to the wall?

Now, the envoy, in fact, is a deputy, but I was powdering my hands in the kitchen. Behind you is the owner of the hall, my negotiator, Lisaberto. Pre-negotiation?

Craig, the Orthodox Angel, should be talking to Dagobad. As for sharing, that's the military side, that's the commercial side. Most importantly, there seems to be a pile of things we need to finish by the time we get down to business, including post-war processing.

Fabius and the others are preparing for an expedition to Flying Dragon Mountain, including supplies. I would have to help, including connecting with the Imperial Merchant, but I didn't expect to be able to get around to the main business at the convenience of a deputy ambassador without a side job...

"With that said, you had to thank me"

Lisaberto said in a bright voice. Did I do something?

"My territory was saved from dragons because of that pollen."

Lisaberto smiles. Sweat seeped in my forehead. Yes, I used my feelings for her hometown to set the Empire in a trap.

"Yeah, well, they used it brilliantly, didn't they, Lisaberto? It was here in Muldras that me and Dagobird were tricked into being danced to it and pollen was invalid by horse dragons.... enough to make me a little angry when I remember"

Maitille said from behind. She is assembling Ehlis, with a female demon mentor who came with Dagovard. I wish I could do it in my room.

"My hands are stopped. Lord Ricardo."

"Yes, no. I'm just done prepping the dough. Ha."

I took my hand off a chunk of green and brown fabric.

"Is this the noodle made of soba noodles that His Royal Highness Maitir was talking about? This color and fragrance is that tea, right?"

Lisa Belt looks at the green chunk intriguingly. Matcha is made from what I have brought with me, but the soba flour comes from Maldoras.

"It's the food Ricardo made all the way for me."

Mathier said proudly.

"... I made it to comfort His Royal Highness Maitir, who no longer had an appetite from the finesse away from his hometown"

"So, you don't have to say that. I mean, it wasn't because I was careful. The kingdom's sweet food just didn't fit your mouth."

Mathier panics. A female magician on my side stared at me. Was it Crane who served as his lord until the end of that battle? He may have struggled in an empire where his boss was gone after being freed from captivity by mistake with Mathill. We need you to play an important role in this negotiation. I don't want to turn to the enemy...

"Well, it looks like His Highness Maitille has taken care of you a long time"

Lisaberto smiled.

"Because Ricardo asked me to go to the kingdom. You deserve to get in the mood. Yes, I also had the ice cream that Leezaberto said he would make. Maybe I tasted better."

Mathier said proudly. Don't claim that you haven't verified it. Personally, by the way, I prefer matcha ice cream. I mean, you look like a chocolate girl fed.

Leezaberto slipped his neck.

"Your Royal Highness Mathilde seems to have changed a lot. I never saw you so soft when I met you before. How much has happened in the kingdom?

"Well, that was a lot of excitement. It's not just Ricardo, but the magicians of the kingdom and so on, because they had quite a selection of delicacies..."

"It's much more fascinating for you now. What do you think of Lord Ricardo?

Leezaberto, like an older relative girl, teases Mathier. Or was it originally that kind of relationship?

"Although His Highness the Special Envoy, disrespect to His Highness..."

Finally, Crane tries to pack me up.

"Crane quickly figured out how to use this. You know how much progress this brings to the study of magic guidance. Clearly, it's more important than improving that magic wand. We need to introduce it into the empire as soon as possible. Besides, in my position, you must be the one measuring the demonic veins here."

"Sure this is great. Such as uncovering the essence of magic with such a simple mechanism. I can't even imagine someone with no qualities coming up with it."

Crane turns her unbelieving eyes to me. Exactly, the original idea belongs not to me, but to a great man from a previous life.

"Well I agree with that, because I actually saw it closest to Ricardo..."

…………

Crane stares at me. Lisa Belt put her hand on her mouth.

"I mean, that's far from the common sense of magic, so make sure you understand. Lisaberto, don't you think your work is good enough to talk to Ricardo about the idea of a new city?

Maityle stood up early. I thought this would be made fun of again, but Lisaberto tightened his expression.

"Right. As an Imperial negotiator and Lord of Maldoras, you have to listen to a lot of things. This time, Lord Ricardo took a risk, because it clearly showed the potential for the new city to come true. People who were skeptical should also pay attention."

My expression is different from when I was just making fun of Mathier.

Even I had something to gain. Ruins that could divert stone, traces of weed-painted roads, etc. Data is also important as we get to the ecology of Fei Long. By the way, I dissected the flying dragon I knocked down, but there was no airbag. Is it still the winged dragon that is the reptile that originated it?

"Let's start with a more detailed story about the futures market…"

The Empire should know, but nobody's ever seen it before. As I recall my story at the Food Guild, I will explain it to Liezabelt.

"I know the advantages of matching the standards of huge warehouses and containers of logistics for a stable supply of food. Anyway, this is the edge of the empire, so we're having a hard time getting items that we can't feed ourselves. However, the dissemination of future pricing information by the futures market…"

Liezabelt looks at me still.

"To be honest, I'm anxious. Because when it comes to agriculture, kingdoms and empires are very different."

Lisa Belt's eyes turn out the window. Wheat fields present only marginally in the centre of the basin, fields dotted to stick to the mountains. It's a completely different sight than the wheat fields in the kingdom. Simply not comparable in terms of competitiveness.

"I can't deny it, but as the head of the new city, I expect new exports from the empire to the kingdom. An example is what we have now."

I cut the dough I was putting to bed, boil it down and cook it. Peperoncino of the raised tea soba was divided into small plates. Leezaberto does not hesitate to mouth the green noodles.

"... it's primitive, rustic but powerful and delicious. I've been watching you make it, but it's mostly soba flour, I didn't know you could eat it like this."

Lisaberto made his face shine.

"It smells better than when I ate in the kingdom."

"Right. I think so too."

The quality of soba seems to be better in the Empire.

"............ I was wondering if the colors were bad anyway"

Crane snorted reluctantly, hesitating to the end.

"If soba can be sold to the kingdom, many territories as well as our territory will be pleased. You're going to get more of these things."

"Yeah, the new city is also going to make it work as a place to try these things. Including the lamb that His Royal Highness Leezaberto had a laugh at."

Tourist destinations with food. Of course it's an excerpt from the excerpt, but it helps to bring people together.

"Even going with the futures market will initially have about one type of wheat and mineral resource at a time. Mineral resources are more advantageous to the empire, so suddenly they shouldn't be a one-sided result. What's more, until the city is built, the city itself will need a lot of supplies from the Empire. Food would come from the kingdom, construction materials, etc., would be an empire. In the meantime, we encourage information from both countries to mix together to create new things."

I explained the wagon fair held in Wangdu. The new city will also have a convention center for that purpose.

"To do this, I would like to hear a lot about the products of the Empire. By the way, doesn't Muldras produce demon-induced gold or demon crystals?

Crane's gaze, which was loosening with tea soba, regained harshness. It's munitions information. I dared ask for three reasons. This time I actually figured out the magic I needed to operate in the realm of the Warcraft. It did break through the realm without sacrifice, but it consumed quite a few demonic crystals even with improved helitis. For the time being, it is better to be close to the place of supply when it is.

The other thing is that in the future I'm wondering if the biggest commodity in the futures market will be the Demon Crystal. This is the magic of spirulitis and speculation from previous life's oil and natural gas.

The last one is what I came up with during this journey. This is not yet the stage to tell people. There are too many uncertainties.

"If that came out, it would have been very different..."

Lisaberto looked sadly at the mountains spreading out the window.

"... did a tremendous exploration of resources for my grandfather's generation. I found a mineral range of crystals in the western mountains... Negative stone."

"Negative stone?

"Oh, you're going to have an array here. The shapes and feelings are similar to demonic crystals, but I can't bring out the magic. On the contrary, it degrades the contacted demonic crystals."

"Is it like [IG-1]?"

"Then there's a way to take advantage of it, but it's going to expire soon. Only when I make contact with the magic crystal can I feel like a magic stream."

"Is that with or without qualities?

"Yeah, but it doesn't make sense because you can't draw out magic................ What, is there something else?

What sparked my interest was the phenomenon of magic flowing just by making contact. Assuming that the development of magic energy resources from the Blood Mountains is in full swing, I want to make the magic props more popular. If the surgical formula of spirulitis can be applied to everyday applications, it is necessary that it can also be switched on in humans without qualities.

"No, I can't say anything about things I haven't even seen... It's true. Because I really haven't come up with anything."

I wouldn't be able to live in a boulder.

"Anyway, did you understand this story?

I told Lisaberto.

"Yeah, I'd like to add more endorsers to this one, including the current story. Well, if the next negotiation is in the kingdom, I'd love to go, and I'm looking forward to the chestnut ice cream that His Royal Highness Maityle boasts."

That's what Lisaberto said and laughed.

"Regards"

This job is going well for once. But there's a big premise that needs to be cleared in the first place in order to move forward with the commercial story. Prevent catastrophe, it's not about business if you can't do it, both in the kingdom and in the empire. Even if the damage is greater than to some extent, it will cause the economy of the kingdom and empire to shrink and the new city will cease to be established.
