The Economics of Prophecy

5 Stories: First Half Demon Worm

"It's a warcraft I've never seen. Don't be alarmed, even if it's only three. Start by taking a distance and forming a queue."

Dagobad's instructions fly. The dragon cavalry that was surrounding the mysterious Warcraft moved simultaneously. At the same time, the Warcraft descended from the trees to the ground. Size three. Large individuals exceed horse dragon cars. It doesn't fit that giant and the feet treading on the ground are thin.

A pair of red eyes staring at this one, its central core-like glow looks darker than ordinary demonic crystals. You're just noticeable with your black skin.

There is a red pattern on the side of the back. Left and right paired between the body ganglia. Regularly bright. It's a creepy combination of colors: black and red. If you look closely, the surprisingly grown hair covers your body.

"Attack initiated."

Craig, sitting behind the rider, waved the magic wand. Spirulitis, which shot down the Fei Long and drove out the Demon Wolf, descends on three. The trees burn up and the area is surrounded by smoke.

Gaggggggggggggggggggggggg!!

I can hear you scratching algae. But the three men who emerged from the smoke are almost intact. The whole black body, like armor, brings together a blushing red light. Apparently, a little frightened.

A knight approached by smoke protrudes his spear. But with the dry sound of Khan, the spear was started.

"What toughness."

Horse Dragon Knight in a hurry to leave. Thin feet follow it. I barely avoided it when I said Awabara skewer.

"Switch to towing from a distance. Grasp the movements of the Warcraft"

Dagobad's instructions fly. The dragon cavalry scatters and distances simultaneously. Dagobad and Craig try to form a formation across the mysterious Warcraft. He tries to loosely surround the Warcraft, though interrupted by the terrain sandwiched between the forest and the lake.

Maityle and the others cover him with a magic wand from the left and right of the horse dragon car. Spirulitis bursting into the empty back still has little effect.

"It's such an exoskeleton anomaly."

I moaned hiding behind the carriage. How can that biological category be so huge?

"Steadiness isn't so fast anyway. Divide into two teams. Alternate attacks while taking distance. Don't turn their attention back."

The dragon cavalry divides into two squads: five horsemen at a time, even with the addition of the knights of the kingdom on which they are riding, ten of them are one squad. The reason you're putting your hands on a target that doesn't work with spirits or spears is to keep us behind you from pointing an attack?

Of course, the Mayteels wave their magic wands to cover the Dagobirds. I'm hiding behind it all the more.

"Boulders, desperate mountain neighborhoods. I can't believe there's such a dragon."

"Your Highness. In that case,"

"I know. Hey, Ricardo. Don't you know how to beat that dragon?

"No, I've never seen it either... After that, whatever you think, it's not a dragon..."

Instead of dragons, I'm not even a vertebrate. Longitudinally torn mouth, six legs with verses. I don't care what you think, arthropods, no. It's insects when you look at the three pairs of feet growing out of your chest.

The most prosperous creature on the planet in a way. Was it rather strange that there had never been a warcraft from which it originated?

No, you can't possibly support that size with an exoskeleton. Crushing like a whale launched on land is the muscle.

The Dagobirds have managed to tame the Warcraft. It must have been field training until I got here, and the collaboration between the Imperial Knight, who manipulates the horse dragon, and the Kingdom Knight, who waves the magic wand behind it, is also brilliant. In contrast, the three Warcraft are not out of target. As Dagobad spotted it, the speed doesn't seem to be much.

On its back, the spirulitis bursts from the Maityrs. But it still doesn't work. Warcraft turns this way. There, the Dagobirds attack. Neither does this attack make a decision.

In that case, we're still poor. I saw Mathilde's magic wand. The shaking green fluorescent light in the cartridge is dull. Magic catalysts are starting to deteriorate.

Suddenly, one of the Warcraft stopped moving. The last body section glowed yellow. From there, the light gradually spreads forward.

"Be careful. These guys are hunting flying dragons. There's got to be some way."

Craig warns. The next moment. When the Warcraft's body hair turned upside down, the current ran in between. The horse dragon, whose legs swung down and seemed barely dazzled, stands on a pole. Two knights on top are thrown out.

"Current?"

I was surprised. A dragon throws up a flame, so it's not weird to have one of those. If it's flames and electricity, it can be said that electricity still has more affinity for organisms.

The Warcraft that put together the current quickly reverts back to normal. But again, the light rises like a gauge from the end of the body ganglion.

"It doesn't taste good. Here comes the novice."

Mathier said.

A new one emerged from the woods. You put your eyes on us? Coming this way.

The Maityrs concentrate the flames of spirulina on the head of the Warcraft. Multiple spirits burst around my eyes, and the boulder warcraft frightens me. But when the attack stops, it starts moving forward.

Mayteel replaces the cartridge.

"This is the last time. Anything you can do, Ricardo."

"No, hypotheses in this situation too..."

I'm not proud of it, but I'm not good at improvising.

"Then think about it. while we prevent. Crane."

Maityle emits a spiritual flame as she runs from the horse dragon car to the wooden side with Crane. It's impotent, that giant, though not moving that fast. Much faster than humans run.

"Wait a minute..."

I'll take care of it.

A girl smaller than herself turns to a giant enemy. I see it in the back of the car. What a Zama. I'm the one who brought everyone this far. I'm the one who caused this crisis.

Shit, think anyway. That warcraft, no. Should it be called the warcraft "Town"? What's this guy's weakness?

What did you think was wrong with me earlier? Insects are exoskeleton organisms. The exoskeleton is convenient for supporting a small body, but the bigger it gets, the more it becomes intolerable to weight, due to the surface area relative to the volume. The dinosaurs of endoskeletal organisms grew up to dozens of metres, while insects did not reach at most one metre.

Yet he is about five meters long. If it's true, you can't even walk with those thin feet.

... The reason for this is simple. In short, it's the same as the knights' armor. The knight's armor becomes sturdy and lightweight by passing magic on the magic guide gold. Armor is a kind of exoskeleton. Warcraft uses magic to strengthen the exoskeleton, just like that.

I mean,............... no weaknesses.

"Yikes."

"Your Highness!!

I heard a scream. I see a warcraft approaching Mayteer as she brightens the pattern on my back in my eyes. Crane and another demon conductor release a desperate spiritual flame. The face of the Warcraft turns to Crane. The Cranes attack more sporadically on the Warcraft as they travel through the woods. The eyes of the Warcraft follow it restlessly.

I'm the only one who can move. I run out of the shadow of my car and head to Mayteer. I manage to get to her in the heat of the spiritual flames started by the Warcraft.

"Are you okay?"

"Hey, hey, hey."

I carry Mathilde on my back. I was about to leave the scene, and the Warcraft turned this way.

"Mathier, don't wear your tongue."

With Mathier on my back, I jump across a bush or eight. Behind me there was the sound of a vacillation. The next moment, a chest shock ran. My body spinning like an iron rod forward.

"Ha!!

I punch him in the back like no other. Oh well, there's a tree branch behind the leaves...... I can hit the ground the moment I think so. Feels like air coming out of your lungs at the same time. It's a feeling I've had since I was decided to carry one in Judo class in my previous life without a passive.

"It's okay, Ricardo"

Mathier wakes herself up off the ground. Unlike a dumb transporter, she seems to have taken a proper passive.

I try to move my desperate, cramped lungs.

"Don't make me turn to His Highness."

"Crane, I don't have a cartridge anymore."

I can hear the cranes screaming from across the bush.

Ricardo, stay here.

I try to get back to the battlefield with Maitille dragging herself to the tree. But I managed to catch my breath, and I grabbed that shoulder.

"Hey, hey... Ma, ma, wait. I came up with a plan."

I said as I took oxygen in desperately on my body. Yes, there was another important reason why insects could not be larged.

That's breathing. Whether it's humans, dinosaurs, and insects, animals consume a lot of energy anyway compared to plants. Whether it's insects or birds, its edibility is diverse within the category. I can't believe the shape of your mouth goes with that. That changes easily already.

However, there is a great deal of commonality within the category about how oxygen-intensive respirators work.

The evolution of the great classification of animals, or institutional "body plan", is characterized by respiratory organs. That's how efficient oxygen is.
