The Extinction Healer of the Beast Husbands

"Selena Grece! Today your punishment shall come, on clear charges of being a bringer of misfortune, a fraud and a worthless wife!"

"You are not the Healer of Extinction for the Beast Kings of Eldoria! You are merely a weak and insignificant woman! Your death will be hastened to restore the reputation of the Beast Kings, whose fortunes have been marred by being forced to marry a liar like you!"

The loud voice rang out so powerfully that it echoed in the head of the woman who stood with her head bowed. Both her hands were chained to the execution post, and an executioner with a ferocious face and horns on her head stood ready to swing her sword.

Selena opened her eyes as the cold air swept across her face; she had been jolted awake by that powerful, shrill cry. Breathing heavily, she looked around with blurred vision.

"Oh my God! Where am I?! Why am I here? What sort of place is this?"

Selena still remembered the moment she’d got into a taxi, sobbing and heartbroken, after catching her husband and her best friend having sex in the hotel room she’d booked for their first anniversary.

She also still remembered when the taxi she was in crashed into a parked lorry that had no warning lights on.

Now the pain from the crash was still throbbing in her head and body, making her wince as she shook her head until her vision cleared.

Up ahead, a few people were watching the execution take place. Meanwhile, at the front, five men sat haughtily; though they looked different, they all exuded an air of authority.

Their gazes were cold and piercing, as if Selena had just done something wrong. This made her blink several times before looking up at the sky.

"Am I still alive? Didn’t my head split open and my breathing stop? Am I not already dead?"

The harsh sunlight pierced her eyes, causing dozens of memories of a woman with the same name as her to flood into her mind.

Selena Grece, a pure maiden who, according to the prophecy of the Eldoria Beast World Council, possessed divine power akin to that of a goddess—capable of healing extinction or the inner troubles afflicting the beast kings.

Because of this, she was ultimately forced to marry five Beast kings: the Lion King, the Dragon King, the Wolf King, the Phoenix King and the Fox King!

However, after spending some time making love to them, none of her Beast husbands felt any benefit whatsoever. Selena Grece was merely a weak and useless woman! They claimed that nothing had changed after spending the night with her in turn.

In fact, Selena actually drained their energy until they felt exhausted. Their powers failed them on several occasions after making love to her, and they regarded this as a real threat.

"That woman is a fraud! She’s destroying me, not healing me!"

Memories of the body’s former owner surfaced as the Lion Husband, Dorven Stongz, raged, the golden fur around his face bristling wildly, causing Selena’s body at that moment to tremble with fear.

"That’s right! Selena actually drains our energy every time we make love to her! She’s no healer! She’s more like a monster that drains life force!" Vylen Roxy joined in the fury, his long, purplish-white fox tail bristling skywards, forming a real threat.

"Let’s just finish her off!" Stevan Drakon, the Dragon’s husband, looked ready to lash out with his silver tail to kill Selena, who sat weakly before them.

"No need—the Council will blame us if she dies at our hands! Let’s just report to them that this woman is useless! That way, she’ll surely be sentenced to death!" Stoner Grey, the Wolf’s husband, intervened with a fierce expression and a sharp, grey gaze, revealing that he wasn’t quite as kind as he seemed. "Then we’ll be rid of this useless woman for good!"

They all glanced at Jhon Nix, Phoenix’s husband, who looked the most haughty of them all. His handsome face, clad in his proud ruby-red cloak, stood with his back to them.

"What do you think, King Phoenix?"

"Just do it—I’ve had enough of her too!"

Cold and heartless, they all dragged her to the World Beast Council building. After being interrogated for three days and three nights, today was the day of Selena Sewithr’s execution.

Selena—or rather, the body’s original owner—was trembling with fear; her face was flushed and streaked with tears, her mouth seemingly sealed, unable to speak. This made the current Selena snort loudly at how foolish this woman was.

"Just as foolish as I was, crying my eyes out when that insolent Jack betrayed me with Prisca! Damn it, how could I have ended up as such a weak woman and died in an accident! I should have set fire to that hotel before I left, so they’d all burn to death inside!" Anger suddenly welled up in her chest, making her eyes glare coldly with a strong sense of humiliation.

She didn’t want a second death to come for her! She didn’t want it because it was so painful! If, in her previous life, she hadn’t had the chance to get her own back on that bastard of a husband, then now she had to make these five even more despicable husbands kneel at her feet.

They’ve already defiled Selena Sewithr, taking turns to sleep with her for their own gratification and to harness the healing effects of extinction! But when they failed, they simply discarded her like rubbish?!

Selena will not let them live in peace after this!

"What else are you waiting for? Kill that woman at once; I’m sick of looking at her face!" Vylen Roxy shouted, ordering the executioner holding a long sword beside the stake.

"That’s right, sever her head from her body! I refuse to see her remain intact after deceiving me!" replied Stevan Drakon, his expression utterly indifferent as he slammed his back against the chair’s backrest, causing his two sapphire-blue crystal earrings to jingle.

"Carry out the execution at once! A sinner does not deserve to be allowed to live any longer!"

Selena Grece, the true soul within that body, smiled coldly this time. Her gaze swept over them all, a warning-laden look that unconsciously sent shivers down the spines of the Dragon Husband and the Lion Husband.

"What on earth is that look?! Does she now think she can defy us?!" Vylen Roxy looked incensed as Selena’s icy gaze met his eyes.

"You used to just whinge, but now you’ve got the nerve to glare?! Huh! Useless!" Stoner Grey retorted, turning his face away in disgust.

It was then that a light, visible only to her, emerged from her chest. Selena looked down to see a blue triangular symbol appear on her chest, glowing brightly.

Selena’s eyes widened as she felt a gentle electric shock course through her body, particularly in her eyes. The sensation lasted only a few seconds, until finally she opened her eyes and saw the world before her in a different light.
