As he got closer to Leisure Immortal Island, Carson’s heart grew more and more uneasy.

When Carson was captured by Snow Zane before, he sent a message to Azure Divine Sect, informing Nico Weaver of the situation to make early preparations.
To Myriad Immortals Palace, Carson was insignificant, as all the casualties were caused by Snow Zane earlier, but what if Master of Path felt mocked and became determined to go after Carson?
For Master of Path, this was just a simple command, but for Carson, it was a matter of life and death, demanding caution.
As he approached Leisure Immortal Island, Carson stopped, concealed himself within Ethereal Pagoda, and released an incarnation to head towards the island.
Leisure Immortal Island was hidden by a formation, and it appeared unchanged from when Carson left.
Approaching, Carson took out the Array Command Token, pointed it to an empty space, and immediately activated the hidden Universal Diagram Formation, which shone brightly, revealing a path into the island.
Carson stepped inside, taking just a few steps before suddenly halting, his face changing abruptly.
While the Universal Diagram Formation remained unchanged, the Harmony Eight Gates Formation within the island had been completely ruined.
Leisure Immortal Island had been invaded!
The Harmony Eight Gates Formation had been destroyed so thoroughly, indicating that the intruder’s strength was exceedingly powerful, certainly a Great Land Prime Immortal, or perhaps even a Peak Great Land Prime Immortal.
Carson hesitated slightly, then resolutely continued walking towards the interior of the island.
Crossing the damaged Harmony Eight Gates Formation, Carson immediately saw the lakeside wooden house where Ben Singleton resided and the small building opposite where Shirley Miller and others lived.
The small building and wooden house remained, but the entire island was deserted.
With a somber face, Carson flew swiftly, soon reaching a concealed entrance.
The entrance was originally completely sealed, but now it was wide open, and standing at the entrance, Carson could see the formation inside the cave.
Entering the cave, Carson examined carefully, and after a long while, his expression relaxed, and he sighed in relief.
The escape formation had been activated, indicating they had escaped through the formation.
It seemed he needed to check the place connected to the formation; even if they were not there, they certainly would have left crucial clues.
Exiting the cave, Carson suddenly halted.
Two middle-aged men floated in mid-air like ghosts, quietly watching him without making any sound.
Carson’s gaze fell on the chest area of the two men, where the emblem of Myriad Immortals Palace was prominently displayed.
Carson sighed internally; the very thing he feared had happened—Myriad Immortals Palace indeed decided to act against him.
Even a mere lackey is not let go, how ruthless!
Carson chuckled self-assuredly: "You two must have been waiting for me for quite some time, right?"
The man on the left scrutinized Carson for a few moments, then coldly said: "You are truly cautious, visiting your own home and still sending an incarnation to scout ahead..."
Carson laughed: "Isn’t this because of fear of you? You see, being careful is never wrong; I almost got caught by you."
The man on the right sneered: "If you don’t want those you care about to die, surrender peacefully."
Carson’s heart sank, but his expression remained unchanged, smiling: "From what you say, it seems you’ve caught someone. Why not tell me to see if you can actually threaten me?"
The man on the right sneered: "Shirley Miller, heard she’s your first woman?"
Carson’s smile remained unchanged: "That’s really unfortunate, but how am I supposed to believe your words? Why don’t you present some evidence?"
The man on the right said gravely: "She has been taken back to Myriad Immortals Palace. If you want to save her, have your true self come with us to Myriad Immortals Palace."
Carson spread his hands: "That statement is just a lie; if my true self goes with you to Myriad Immortals Palace, would I still have a way out?"
The man on the left sneered: "Myriad Immortals Palace has a Battle Slave Camp, which specifically takes in prisoners; they will fight for Myriad Immortals Palace in the Battle Slave Camp to atone for their crimes and regain freedom once their sins are redeemed."
"Though you’ve committed great wrongdoing, ultimately, you were merely an accomplice. Hall Master sees you as coerced into wrongdoing, and may show leniency, but if you persist, your woman will not survive."
Carson looked at the two men, then suddenly laughed heartily: "Such esteemed figures of Myriad Immortals Palace actually resort to little tricks of deception; truly an eye-opener. Is it necessary to deal with a small figure like me?"
