Chapter 2724: Crimson Immortal Domain, See You There
On the mountain peak, Carson Flores and Samir Coffey stood side by side.
"What are your plans?"
"What about you?"
"I’ll head back to the North Sea first, then take my father home. After that, I should leave the Ten Thousand Immortals Domain. You know, I’m pretty much the enemy of the world here. If I stay any longer, something will definitely happen."
Samir Coffey burst into laughter, "You’re causing trouble wherever you go!"
Carson Flores shrugged, "When you walk the world, it’s hard not to stir up trouble. In the survival-of-the-fittest world of immortal cultivation, no one listens to reason."
Samir laughed, "Regardless, with your strength, being able to offend so many and still remain unscathed is quite a feat. By the way, where do you plan to go after returning from the Barbaric Wilderness Realm?"
Carson thought for a moment, "I might make a stop at the Bitter Sea Immortal Domain to handle some matters, but eventually, I’ll go to the Crimson Immortal Domain. The Immortal Demon War is likely about to start again. I’m planning to go take a look."
"The Immortal Demon War?"
Samir’s face appeared surprised, "You’re not planning to be a savior again and rescue the Immortal Realm, are you?"
Carson couldn’t help but laugh, "Do I look like I could be a savior? Mainly, several Quasi-Saints I know are all heading to the Crimson Immortal Domain. In the future, more Quasi-Saints will likely go there. I’m going to try my luck and also help Delarosa complete an unfinished wish. With so many Quasi-Saints there, clues should be easier to find."
Samir uttered a meaningful "Oh," thought for a moment, and said, "Then I’ll go take a look too."
Carson stared at Samir, "I have a reason for going. Why are you going? Isn’t living a safe life good?"
"Like a turtle, finding a place to hide and avoiding the world, you might live for a very long time, but what’s the point of living that way?"
Samir scoffed at Carson’s words, "A man’s achievements come from battling others. Events like the Immortal Demon War, which occur once in a millennium, how can I miss it? After all, war is a disaster, but it’s also an opportunity. I’m still hoping to become a Saint one day, so how can I hold back?"
Carson chuckled, giving a thumbs up, "Great resolve! Truly worthy of the Demon Emperor!"
Samir snorted coldly, "In the eyes of these immortals, the Demon Emperor of the Barbaric Wilderness Realm is a joke, but one day, I will make the name ’Demon Emperor’ echo throughout the entire Immortal Realm!"
Carson teased, "You’ve even come up with a slogan, getting all fired up. Alright, let’s part ways here and meet again in the Crimson Immortal Domain!"
"Alright, Crimson Immortal Domain, be there or be square!"
Samir turned his head to look at Carson, "Be careful, don’t go dying. The showdown between the Demon Emperor and the Human Emperor isn’t over yet."
Carson said with a smile, "You be careful too, I’ve got a long life ahead of me!"
"Haha, I’m off!"
Samir laughed, transformed into a wandering dragon, and instantly swept across the heavenly dome, vanishing into the horizon.
Carson smiled, feeling inexplicably joyful.
Who would have thought, after battling the Demon Emperor for so long, they’d become friends. It’s amazing how strange life can be.
After settling matters with Samir, Carson prepared to set off on his journey home. Before leaving, he recorded a lengthy video with the Soulmirror Stone and quietly went to the hidden retreat of the Illusory Snake Sect, handing the Soulmirror Stone to the disciple guarding the mountain gate.
He had previously promised Garlan Parrish an explanation.
Since he promised, he naturally had to fulfill it.
Leaving the Southern Wilderness, perhaps he’d have no further ties with the Illusory Snake Sect. Ending with the truth isn’t too bad.
Illusory Snake Sect.
Garlan Parrish was in seclusion healing when Elder Roderic Tate knocked and entered.
Seeing the strange expression on Roderic’s face, Garlan Parrish immediately felt tense, "Mr. Tate, what happened?"
Roderic shook his head and handed over the Soulmirror Stone, "Sent by Carson Flores."
Garlan’s eyes lit up, "Where is he?"
"He left after handing the Soulmirror Stone to the mountain gate disciple."
With a complex expression, Roderic said, "Sect Master, you watch it first."
Garlan nodded, infusing spiritual power into the Soulmirror Stone. The formation activated, light scattered, and Carson’s image appeared on the screen.
Listening to Carson’s account, Garlan’s face shifted from calm, to shocked, to disbelief.
When the video ended, Garlan’s expression mirrored Roderic’s, exceptionally complex.
"His identity is actually fake. That’s incredibly bold!"
Roderic smiled wryly, "I always said Samir and Carson looked quite similar, but I never imagined Samir’s body was actually Carson’s father’s. Carson did all those things for Samir just to make him willingly return the body..."
"He comes and goes freely, learned the Sand Dragon Illusion God Technique, and left us in a terrible state."
Garlan remained silent for a long time and then exhaled deeply, smiling, "The Illusory Snake Sect was already in decline. Though we’ve faced hardships now, we haven’t suffered much loss. Carson and Samir are not ordinary people. They’ll surely become famous figures in the Immortal Realm someday."
"They learned the Sand Dragon Illusion God Technique. Who knows, one day the Illusion God Technique might become renowned across the Immortal Realm because of them..."
