’Impress you?’

Chenyang figured that for a woman who lacked neither money nor power, the only way to truly win her over was probably to satisfy her... to quench her desires.

With that in mind, Chenyang’s hand, which had been resting on Liu Yun’s slender waist, suddenly wandered down to the curve of her full, round bottom.

Even through the fabric of her skirt, he could feel its soft, supple bounce.

As he boldly caressed her, he took the opportunity to lift the hem of her skirt.

But just as he was about to slip his hand inside, Liu Yun suddenly stopped him. "What are you doing?"

"Didn’t you tell me to impress you?"

"But not here! If anyone saw us, we’d both be finished." Liu Yun shot Chenyang a playfully cross look, adding, "We can do it at Fei’er’s place."

Chenyang grinned. "Sister Liu, when you said you wanted me to experience something more thrilling than ever before, you must have meant having some fun together at Aunt Qin’s place, right?"

"Of course not."

Liu Yun denied it, but her beautiful eyes were filled with a seductive charm and anticipation.

During yesterday’s treatment session, Chenyang had been unable to restrain himself and had tried to sleep with her. She had wanted it too, but concerns about her family, her husband, and her own conscience had made her refuse.

In truth, a part of her was still resistant to the idea.

But last night, she had gotten into another fight with her husband about having children.

She and her husband had once been a loving couple.

But now, their once-happy marriage had been turned into a toxic mess by the issue of children.

The feeling of her marriage being held hostage by the demand for a child made Liu Yun deeply resentful.

Although she could understand the sentiment that ’a marriage without children isn’t a perfect one’...

...her infertility was hardly her choice.

In all this time, her husband had never offered a single word of comfort, and neither of their families showed any understanding of her plight.

Worse, during their argument yesterday, her husband had once again brought up their "agreement": if she wasn’t pregnant by their deadline, the marriage would be over for good.

More importantly, in the midst of the argument, his bag had been thrown to the floor, and an ultrasound report had fallen out.

There were only two reasons for an ultrasound report to be in a man’s bag.

One: he’d accidentally put it in his bag at work, or someone else had put it there by mistake.

But Liu Yun’s husband wasn’t a doctor, nor did he work in a hospital. He had no way of coming into contact with something like that.

That left only the other possibility.

Another woman was pregnant with his child.

This meant that the pregnancy deadline he’d set was, in effect, an ultimatum.

If she couldn’t conceive by then, he would have the other woman replace her outright!

Liu Yun wasn’t afraid of divorce!

A woman with her money and influence could get divorced today, and by tomorrow, she’d have countless, more exceptional men lining up to propose.

But what she couldn’t tolerate was the mistress trying to usurp her position before she had even given up.

Even less could she tolerate her husband getting another woman pregnant behind her back while they were still married—and then using that pregnancy as a sordid tactic to humiliate her!

Liu Yun wanted revenge. She had to strike back.

And she felt the best way to do that was to give him a taste of his own medicine.

To put it bluntly: her husband cheated, so she would cheat too.

If the mistress could use the child in her belly to gain a foothold, then she could use a pregnancy of her own to take back everything that was rightfully hers.

But the prerequisite for getting pregnant was curing her condition first!

And Chenyang was currently the only person who could cure her.

What’s more, the treatment required them to have sex.

That way, she could have an affair and get her treatment at the same time.

Liu Yun was impatient to achieve her goal, which was why she was so eager to take Chenyang to Qin Fei’er’s house, even during work hours.

With this in mind, she urged him again, "Don’t just stand there dazed. Weren’t we going to the restaurant for takeout? Let’s go."

Chenyang smiled and got into the car with her. As he drove, he chuckled, "I thought that after thinking things through, Sister Liu might want to try something thrilling right here in the garage."

Liu Yun’s gaze swept around the garage. "The scenery here... is actually quite nice."

"Wanna try?"

"You’re the man Fei’er has her eye on. I can’t just hog you all to myself before she’s had a taste."
