Chapter 194
Chenyang muttered irritably, "Why does that sound so weird?"
"How is it weird?"
"It feels like you two sisters are treating me like a dish to be eaten!"
"What’s wrong with being our dish? I’m not bad looking, and Fei’Er is a natural-born stunner. You should be thrilled to be the meal the two of us are fighting over, you brat."
Chenyang snorted. "We’ll see who’s eating who when the time comes."
Liu Yun scoffed. "I admit, you’re much more... well-endowed than the average man. But me and Fei’Er together? It’s not a simple one-plus-one equation. So don’t be so quick to brag. Otherwise, you’ll be the one getting out of bed with a sore back, collapsing on the floor with wobbly legs, and getting laughed at by us."
"We’ll just have to wait and see, then!"
As Chenyang said this, he actually felt a little unsure of himself.
After all, he had already experienced firsthand just how strong Qin Fei’Er’s desires were.
Having been a widow for years, she was as ravenous as a wolf.
He had to give it his all just to handle her alone.
If they added Liu Yun, another stunner, to the mix... even Chenyang, in the prime of his life and with considerable stamina, might not be able to withstand a combined assault from these two beauties.
However, beneath his uncertainty, he felt more anticipation than anything else.
After all, these were two gorgeous women who would turn heads absolutely anywhere.
He’d be lucky to have just one of them.
To have both at the same time? That was a fortune that would make even the gods jealous.
Faced with such a thrillingly risqué opportunity, Chenyang had to grit his teeth and see it through. He couldn’t back down now!
Lost in these fantasies, Chenyang pressed deeper and deeper on the accelerator.
In just a few minutes, they arrived at the city’s food street.
Liu Yun smiled. "The next few places up ahead are all good. Pick one based on what you’re in the mood for."
"Okay, in that case, I’ll..."
As Chenyang looked around, his gaze was suddenly drawn to a lottery shop not far away.
"Sister Liu, I’m not good at ordering. Why don’t you go ahead? I’m going to pop over and buy something nearby."
"What are you buying? I know this area well, and I have membership cards for most of the stores. I can take you."
"I guarantee you don’t have a membership card for the store I’m going to."
"Impossible. I shop here all the time. I’ve been to all the shops, big and small. Except for that adult shop..."
Liu Yun had been utterly dismissive at first. She was a total shopaholic, and when she wasn’t working, she was shopping.
But halfway through her sentence, something seemed to click. A look of disdain crossed her face. "Don’t tell me you think you can’t satisfy me and Fei’Er, so you’re planning to go to the adult shop to buy some pills?"
Chenyang scoffed. "Do you really think I need that kind of stuff?"
"You don’t?"
As she shot the question back, Liu Yun looked absolutely certain that Chenyang was going to buy stamina pills.
"Go ahead and buy them. After all, you have to handle both me and Fei’Er. Just know I’ll be laughing at you for that, too."
Without giving Chenyang a chance to explain, she got out of the car and walked into a nearby restaurant.
Chenyang gave a helpless grin.
’Aphrodisiacs, stamina pills... if he wanted that stuff, he wouldn’t need to buy it.’
’For one, the stuff from adult shops has major side effects.’
’And for another, as a practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine, he could easily concoct something much better himself.’
Of course, he couldn’t be bothered to explain all that. After locking the car, he strode toward the lottery shop.
Chenyang had two reasons for going to the lottery shop.
First, he hadn’t had a chance to use his X-ray vision at the hospital that morning. He wanted to come to the lottery shop to practice and experience the wonders of this ability.
Second, he wanted to make money.
Even though his job situation was settled and the benefits Liu Yun offered weren’t bad, it would still be a month until he got paid.
In the meantime, he needed to find a way to make some cash for living expenses. He also wanted to get a vehicle of his own; having to check bus schedules and run to subway stations every time he wanted to go somewhere was just too inconvenient.
The lottery shop wasn’t large, but it was crowded.
Near the counter, some people were staring at the results board, while others were scribbling on paper, trying to calculate the next winning lottery numbers.
Others clutched scratch-off tickets, their hands clasped in prayer, hoping to win a hundred bucks or so to make life a little easier.
Chenyang squeezed through the crowd, his eyes scanning the stacks of scratch-off tickets on the counter. "Boss, I’ll take one of these ’Happy Reunion’ tickets."
"How many?"
"Hmm... can I pick them out myself?"
The old man looked up at Chenyang. "What for? You think you can use your mind to pick out the winning tickets?"
Chenyang chuckled. "Something like that. My gut tells me a few of them are consecutive winners."
