Chapter 1016: Because You’re Stupid
The Celestial Dao Alliance is not a standalone manor.
On either side of the main manor of the headquarters are three mansion-like courtyards, specifically set up by some of the elders. The people here are like gatekeepers. Of course, to speak plainly, as Jiang Yunxuan would insult, they’re like watchdogs.
Because of this special arrangement, Willow Manor is likewise, though it has only a single defensive line.
Liu Zixuan and his group stood at the entrance of Willow Manor.
"Both sides are set up like ornamental gatekeepers. Do they really think of themselves as emperors?" Liu Zixuan sneered.
Jiang Yunxuan, with hands in his pockets, stood in front of Liu Zixuan, "Remember, this is where we first met!"
"Who says otherwise? Before, Willow Association hosted a martial arts contest for marriage because of Ruyan, and Tiger nearly tore the whole place down." Liu Zixuan shrugged and laughed.
Tiger laughed heartily, "I wasn’t satisfied the last time I didn’t tear it all down. It seems everything is destined. This time, I’m definitely going to turn this place upside down!"
Liu Zixuan nodded and gestured to Xiao Hu by another car, "Once inside, you, along with Elder Shi San, head from the left. Yunxuan, Tiger, and I will go from the right and meet in the Willow Assembly Hall."
"Do we really have to destroy such a beautiful manor?" Xiao Hu frowned.
Liu Zixuan glanced up at the magnificent Willow Manor, a slight smile at the corner of his mouth, "Without bulldozers or excavators this time, we can’t destroy it all at once. But if you like it, after this is over, I’ll give you a set!"
"Alright!"
Xiao Hu smiled broadly and took out his pair of large hammers.
"Let’s do it!"
"Let Tiger start by destroying this so-called defensive line!"
Tiger stepped forward and revealed his fists, walking toward the buildings on either side of the entrance.
Before the people inside could file out, cries of agony rang out. Soon, burly men were tossed out by Tiger, each lying on the ground, doing nothing but rolling and begging for mercy.
After cleaning up, Liu Zixuan and the others exchanged glances and began moving inside.
Following the original plan, they split into left and right sides, heading straight in.
After all, this was the largest sub-branch of the Celestial Dao Alliance. If enemies showed up, they would surely react quickly.
After Liu Zixuan defeated the men blocking not far from the entrance, a group of people quickly poured out of the main hall.
Leading them were the brothers Liu Qianyun and Liu Qianfeng, familiar to Liu Zixuan.
Of course, by seniority, Liu Zixuan should call Liu Qianfeng father-in-law and Liu Qianyun uncle.
But unfortunately, seniority alone wasn’t enough. Liu Ruyan and her beautiful master only had blood ties with them; there were no feelings to speak of.
And now, being enemies, it was simply impossible to claim kinship.
Liu Qianfeng and Liu Qianyun stood in front of many experts, glaring at Liu Zixuan, "Our ancestor should have erased you back then, or you wouldn’t dare to act as you do now!"
Liu Zixuan shrugged, "Then you’ll have to blame your ancestor. His head was kicked by a mule. Instead of killing me, he treated me like an honored guest at Willow Association. Funny, I remember when you two met me back then, you didn’t even dare to breathe loudly."
Liu Qianyun squeezed the blade in his hand, "We at Willow Association, being among the Eight Great Powers of the Four Great Clans, can see you as an ant. Now as the largest sub-branch of the Celestial Dao Alliance, we certainly don’t care about you."
Hearing this, Liu Zixuan sneered, "I now understand the real reason why Liu Qianfeng can be the Patriarch, but you can’t, Liu Qianyun!"
"What do you mean?" Liu Qianyun coldly said.
"Because you’re stupid!" Liu Zixuan stepped forward, the Nameless Sword appeared in his hand, ringing a sound as its tip pointed directly at Liu Qianyun, "Willow Association treated me as an ant back then, and what was the outcome? Didn’t I step all over them? What’s the big deal about Celestial Dao Alliance when I can come and go as I please?"
"You..."
"Qianyun, stop talking to him!" Liu Qianfeng interjected.
Liu Qianyun sneered, "Brother, why are you afraid? Although he was at the Peak of Imperial Realm and defeated you, a Half-Step Emperor Realm expert, now with our ancestor’s help, both of us have broken through to the Acquired Emperor Realm. As for him? Without the resources of our ancestor, how could he possibly surpass our Realm?"
"Tiger, he’s even more brainless than you!" Jiang Yunxuan laughed, arms crossed.
Tiger glared at Jiang Yunxuan, wanting to get angry but feeling it wasn’t the right time.
Liu Qianfeng sighed and whispered to Liu Qianyun, "He’s stronger than us."
"Impossible!" Liu Qianyun still looked unconvinced.
"Still, Patriarch of Willow has a good eye. I will teach Liu Qianyun a lesson on your behalf!"
With that, Liu Zixuan shouted, "Attack!"
With the command, both sides moved simultaneously and began fighting fiercely in front of the main hall.
After Liu Zixuan’s words, Liu Qianyun was momentarily stunned but had no time to react. Liu Zixuan was already in front of him while Liu Qianfeng, who wanted to help, was blocked by Jiang Yunxuan.
"Did you think breaking through to Acquired Emperor Realm makes you so great? Go ahead and try!" Liu Zixuan mocked.
Liu Qianyun gripped the blade, "Stop putting on airs. I’m now an Acquired Emperor Realm master and have learned the cultivation techniques from our ancestor. Even with your previous array trump cards, you can’t save yourself!"
"I really wonder if you’ve been eating crap all this time!"
In Liu Zixuan’s eyes, Liu Qianyun seemed like a clown. The news of Liu Zixuan defeating several ancestors was all over the Martial Realm, yet this idiot was clueless, still thinking Liu Zixuan was merely an Imperial Realm Martial Artist from when he previously challenged Willow Association.
Of course, any enemy would pay a heavy price for their ignorance, and Liu Qianyun was no exception!
With a loud shout, Liu Qianyun raised his weapon, striking at Liu Zixuan with growing derision on his face, as if he believed he could kill Liu Zixuan with one blow!
He even seemed to imagine Liu Zixuan kneeling before him!
However... his smile froze abruptly, the icy weapon stopped mid-air as if petrified.
And Liu Qianyun himself was wide-eyed, his pupils dilated.
