The Journey of the Overlord

The Overlord's Journey Chapter 47

"Salvatore Toni died in battle in Sardinia, and the [god of disobedience] who killed Salvatore Toni is located in southern Italy, and has been in constant fear."

It was signed by Alexander Gascoigne.

Repeatedly looking at the letter in his hand, the old man, without raising his head, asked in his characteristic hoarse voice.

"Is this the letter that Alexander told you to send?"

"Yes, Marquis Voban, my king has asked me to deliver this letter to you personally."

The knight boy kneeling on the ground bowed his head in response.

"Yes? Well, then, you can go die."

The old man said faintly.

"What!"

The knight boy was so shocked that he stood up, ready to launch his warlock and rush out of the castle.

However, the castle's gates suddenly closed, and from the shadows on the ground around him emerged figures, all of them just like him, dressed in black knightly attire and holding black knightly swords in their hands, rushing towards the knight boy.

"This! Is it!"

The knight boy looked in horror at the shadows that surrounded him, severely reflecting out the knight's sword that was generally chopping over.

Immediately, blood was spilled on the ground.

"Heh heh, I only received the news this morning, is it a letter now, is this a test, the English kid is still so cunning, compared to him, that stupid kid Tony is just silly to the point of being cute." The old man stood up with his left hand on his cane and smiled.

"Then let me see, it's just as well it's been a long time since I've hunted, Az-Dakha, the evil god of Zoroastrianism, it's really the first time I've met an evil god, heh heh heh~ what kind of power can I get~ heh heh heh~"

This old man was none other than the last of the three Godslayers of Europe, the oldest, and arguably even the strongest, Sacha Djangsdal Voban, revered by the Council of Sages of Greenwich as the Marquis of Voban.

Marquis Voban also held the largest amount of power among all the godslayers, and was quite skilled in the use of power, having the strength to use godslaying as entertainment.

The one that had just killed the knight boy was one of the powers he possessed.

The Servant of Death Cage was a power that Marquis Voban had usurped from Osiris, and all the humans it had personally killed would appear in the world as the living dead and become its loyal servants of absolute obedience, with people from all ages and including the Grand Knight rank, mixed with a wide variety of people of different nationalities and races from different eras.

Voban thus slowly stepped down from the throne with his cane in his paws, the doors of the castle slowly opened to allow him to step out, and after he did, the doors of the castle closed once more, and the black knights slowly disappeared into shadows, leaving only the body of a young boy on the ground.

Chapter 25: The Gods of a Strange Land

In the southern part of Europe's Italy, the area along the coastline was in the midst of an incomparably terrible catastrophe, with countless ground collapsing, countless cities disconnected from the destroyed mountains, and lakes sinking, as if there was a moving natural disaster moving along the coastline, from south to north, and that was indeed the case.

During the battle in Sardinia, Az-Dakha used his most powerful killing technique [Wheel of Light of the Overlord] directly on Salvatore Tony, who thought he couldn't be killed, as the strongest boon of the Flash Heat System, a fuse that would ignite the endgame. The heat that instantly erupted from the [Wheel of Overlord's Light] was even more terrifying than the Sun God's flames, and directly melted Salvatore Tony who was equipped with the [Steel Plus Protection], while the severely injured Kusanagi Gotou and Erica Bluntree who was watching over him in the distance were also affected by the [Wheel of Overlord's Light] and directly obliterated.

Among the ten incarnations of Kusanagi Gotou, although there was the [Male Goat], an incarnation that could restore all of his injuries, but that was based on the fact that his physical body was still intact, unfortunately, the high temperature generated by Az-Dakha's [Wheel of Overlord's Light] attack as well as the incomparably terrifying range of the attack had left the severely injured Kusanagi Gotou with no way to escape.

The entire island of Sardinia was the target of the attack, and as a result, everything in and around Sardinia was affected, the heat melted everything and evaporated a large amount of seawater, Sardinia directly disappeared from the earth, and at the same time, a huge impact was produced that caused the seawater to spread out to form a huge tsunami that affected all the countries along the Mediterranean Sea, while the seawater evaporated by the heat gathered into huge cumulonimbus clouds.

These cumulonimbus clouds drifted to Italy with Aziz Dakaha as a result of the air currents fanned by his wings.

After landing in southern Italy, Az-Dakha began walking aimlessly along the coastline.

This world, Az-Dakaha did not understand, all he knew was that this, not the Box Court, was the world outside of the Box Court, and that there were many gods.

But all those gods were imprisoned by a [Myth], even his own old enemy, Bahram.

Through a thousand kinds of magic, the chain on Bachram's body that Az-Dakha saw hidden into the void, leading to that myth should be the one.

'It is ridiculous to be a god and yet be imprisoned and enslaved!'

This was Az-Dakha's assessment of Bahram, not expecting to have not met Bahram for hundreds of years, but to meet him again to see him just escaped from a cage, it was really a bummer, and then also killed by human regicide, although Az-Dakha gave praise to the human who dared to kill the gods, thinking that he himself was the strongest regicide in the Box Court, but for the gods who were killed, Az-Dakha gave contempt, especially since the other party was still Bahram who had once defeated him.

But! This world succeeded in arousing the interest of Az-Dakha.

In this world, there was the [Myth] that could imprison gods, and at the same time, there were also humans who could kill gods and become god-killers, knowing that in the Box Court, Shura Gods and Buddhas were existences with powerful gifts, and the humans located at the lowest level, although there were individual very strong people, but there were still very few who could reach the level of killing Shura Gods and Buddhas, but in the two days that he came to this world, Az-Dakha had met two of them.

This made Az-Daikaha, who had just obtained his body to be reborn, immediately take an interest in it, and that [Myth] was the one that made Az-Daikaha feel the most concerned. In that case, then, it means that, in Bahram's perception, all gods should be imprisoned by [mythology], and so should that god-king who resolved himself to deity!

What an interesting existence that was able to imprison a large number of gods, how interesting!

It's interesting to the point where Az Dakaha wants to understand this world and then destroy it, in the Box Court, as the absolute evil Az Dakaha of the Final Trials of Mankind has been crushed and the never-ending battle has been ended, but now, in the last world, he accidentally regained his body and was able to be reborn, now, let this world be the first world to be destroyed by the Final Trials of Mankind's rebirth!

Want to stop it? Yes! If you want to stop it, let the heroes of this world challenge themselves!

Along the southern coast of Italy, all the way to the north, everywhere you went, everything was destroyed, not because Az Dakaha shot, but because Az Dakaha's continent-sized mass caused earthquakes as he walked, every step was a large earthquake, every foot would plunge deep into the ground, the whole ground would be crushed up, but Az Dakaha didn't care, so he just walked north step by step, it was considered a rare way for him to pass the time.

What was more interesting, though, was that not a single human existed in the places Az-Dakha had passed along the way, no! Exactly none of the living creatures existed except for the trees.

Humans, dogs and cats, birds and birds, poisonous snakes, insects, none of them.

Humans had been evacuated due to the government's advance notice, while those animals and insects, probably due to their innate sense of danger as animals, had fled after sensing Aziz Dakaha's scent, causing all the places Aziz Dakaha had passed through to be like dead lands.

However, just as Az-Dakha walked outside of Rome, he stopped.

Raising three heads and six scarlet eyes, he looked towards the remnants of the ancient Roman Coliseum, dozens of kilometers away, inside the city of Rome.

On top of the remnants, a figure was standing at the top, a loli with slightly long silver hair that reached her shoulders, the shawl emitting a silvery glow, on top of her head, she wore a blue braided hat, her black pupils gazing at Az-Dakha, appearing incomparably deep, but her face was expressionless and indifferent.

She was wearing a thin sweater and mini skirt with black expired stockings, and just stood at the top of the building, gazing indifferently at Aziz Dakaha.

Seemingly noticing that Az-Dakha was also watching him, the silver-haired loli simply disappeared.

Az-Dakaha wasn't surprised, but turned his head to look at the ruins on the side.

On top of the ruins of the human house that had collapsed due to the shock caused by his own walk, the silver-haired loli had reappeared out of thin air.

The silver-haired loli just gazed at Az-Dakha with a faint gaze and spoke faintly.

"First meeting, O god of a foreign nation."

Chapter 26: Seems to have misunderstood something

Outside of Rome, Italy.

Az-Dakha was standing quietly, looking up at this loli in the ruins before him.

"First meeting, O god of a foreign nation."

The silver-haired loli in front of him looked at Az Dakaha and said faintly.

"A god of a different state? So you're a god here? Thou! Who is it!"

Az-Dakha's three heads and six scarlet eyes stared at the loli in front of her at the same time and said coldly.

"The concubine's name is Athena, goddess of wisdom."
