Rode's gaze instantly focused on the original star.

Everything about the Dark Devourer appeared before his eyes.

Overall, this star seemed ordinary, with 6 units of Source Energy and a strength of 60 million, appearing quite weak compared to the more powerful Great Stars.

Its only uniqueness lay in its two abilities: Destroy Darkness and Break God.

The former was self-explanatory, being the core of the dreamscape.

The latter, although seemingly powerful from its description, was not something Rode frequently used, as "divine defense" wasn't the key obstacle in breaking the ancient gods. He had various means to bypass or break it, but it was ineffective against the crucial God Source Base.

As he delved deeper into his perception, Rode's expression darkened, realizing something was amiss.

In the dreamscape, any star he awakened felt like a part of him, as if it became an extension of his body, like a third hand or leg.

However, the Dark Devourer was the exception.

Previously, Rode had overlooked this feeling because the Dark Devourer wasn't awakened in the usual manner; it was through finding its lost fragments under the guidance of the previous generation.

Only now, upon reflection, did Rode realize its peculiarity.

A strange hypothesis arose in his mind.

"Book, could it be that the Dark Devourer can be awakened again?"

The Book of Knowledge caressed its pages, equally excited by this hypothesis: "Master, you should give it a try."

Rode approached the Star Tower, lightly touching it. A giant bell lit up before him as he turned the dial towards the Dark Devourer.

In the next moment, two lines of golden text appeared before his eyes.

[Requires 100 Divinity to activate the Star Tower]

[Requires 1 soul of the Black Mist Prime, 2 souls of the Black Mist Avatar, and 100 souls of the Black Mist Symbiote to awaken the star]

Rode's heart trembled!

There was actually a second condition to awaken the Dark Devourer?

It was known that only stars above the Great Star level had a second condition, yet the Dark Devourer was just an ordinary star.

Indeed, it was special!

Soros was absolutely right; the key to stepping into the source law must be it!

Rode turned his gaze to the obelisk.

He had the soul of the Black Mist Prime, but not the souls of the Black Mist Avatar and Black Mist Symbiote. Although he had destroyed countless Black Mist Symbiotes and Avatars in various battles, those were merely derivatives of a more powerful existence, not the original.

Now, finding a Black Mist Avatar and Symbiote with an original soul was extremely difficult.
