"Master!" The Book of Knowledge shouted anxiously: "What are you doing?"

Rod did not answer. The shining wings folded away, a white mist unfurled, and the Light Wings seamlessly transformed into the [Spirit Realm Ship]. Its speed surged, and in the blink of an eye it slipped out of the attack range of the Abyss Giant Snake.

The white misty light flickered within the Space, crossing over the chaotic and twisted Starlight to arrive outside that stretch of Unknown Space.

By now the Abyss was already on the verge of collapse. Space was trembling violently, the shattered land tearing further apart, countless fragments of rock scattering through Space, flying off in all directions.

Behind Rod, that field of chaotic Starlight was rapidly swelling, madly devouring the Space of the Abyss.

"So this is the Unknown Space?" Asa exclaimed in awe: "What a strange place."

The puppet answered softly: "Unknown Space is a purely Spirit Space, the inner region of the Unknown Object. Legend says that the Unknown Object is a strange substance born at the very beginning of creation. The spirit mist it forms is the foundation of all Spirits’ birth, and is also the lowest layer of time and Space; the Three Realms all exist upon it."

"Then why would the Unknown Space devour the original Abyss?"

The puppet said gently: "Because the Abyss has long been on the verge of destruction. It was that bizarre Object that supported its existence until now. When Master destroyed that bizarre Object, the Abyss began to collapse, like a tall building collapsing toward the ground—the original Abyss likewise collapsed toward the lowest level of Space."

Asa peered through the Dream Realm and indeed saw that the entire Abyss had a sense of sinking into that chaotic Starlight, with the "bizarre Object" as its center. The range of collapse expanded at an unimaginable speed; however, this speed was still far inferior to that of the [Spirit Realm Ship], so it looked as though they were drifting away from a collapsing world.

The Book of Knowledge let out a breath of relief: "Good... Master, what exactly are you trying to do?"

Rod did not reply. The [Spirit Realm Ship] sped back the way they had come, quickly passing over those countless Abyss Monster remains. Part of them had already disappeared, but another part still lingered where they were.

The white mist dispersed; he halted the [Spirit Realm Ship], and with a wave of both hands, activated the [Glutton].

In an instant, those remains turned into countless cinders and flew toward his mouth.

His Intuition told him that the ashes of these original Abyss Monsters might be of great use to him.

Of course, this was not his goal. After Rod stowed away those cinders, he once again activated the [Spirit Realm Ship] and arrived before the remains of the Abyss God. That towering colossus that reached from sky to earth was like a gigantic gray pillar supporting the existence of the Abyss. Everything of it had already been stripped away by the "extremely evil person," leaving only this remnant that was even more ashen than ash itself.

Rod once more activated the [Glutton]. Invisible power spread out; under its influence, those remains which still possessed extremely high Strength collapsed in an instant, turning into a rainstorm of gray dust that surged toward Rod’s mouth. Those countless ashes were larger than Rod by not just trillions of times, yet he devoured them all, one by one.

Viheler, Chucher, and the others were all dumbfounded.

"Th-this is the black rice bucket?"

Fei Xue’s eyes shone with a strange light: "So Rod big brother can suck this much!"

In the Dream Realm, the Book of Knowledge suddenly came to a realization.

"So that’s it. The remains of the Abyss God might have some kind of bizarre effect! This is a Primordial God!"

Yet Asa immediately refuted: "He is not one of the thirteen Primordial Gods. Although He holds a status close to the Primordial Gods, He is one of the Outer Gods, from beyond the Endless Fire Sea, from a universe outside the Source Universe. And as the maintainers of the Supreme Universe, the thirteen Primordial Gods permitted His existence, entrusted the original Abyss to Him, and made Him the Abyss God."

The Book of Knowledge exclaimed: "What did you say?"

Asa explained: "In the first Epoch, there did not exist only the Primordial Gods. As the Source Universe, the Upper Realm above all worlds is the Supreme land infinitely longed for and coveted by countless Lower Realm beings. According to the time I have gleaned, as guardians of the Law Circle and maintainers of the Source Universe’s operational order, the Primordial Gods often had to battle the Outer Gods who crossed the Endless Fire Sea. Any God who could cross the Endless Fire Sea to come here was among the strongest. Some of Them were relatively benevolent and were kept by the Primordial Gods as so‑called ’Outer Gods’; some were extremely evil and would be destroyed by the Primordial Gods, becoming the fuel for the operation of the universe and the existence of the Divine."

Asa paused, flipped through a few pages, and further Digested some of the devoured time phantoms.

"Besides the Primordial Gods and Outer Gods, there are lower-level subordinate Gods. They are subject to the thirteen Primordial Gods, forming a vast Divine Type, jointly ruling over the humans living in the Main Material World. This was the structure of the first Epoch."

"It existed for immeasurable time, until the extremely evil person appeared and everything was changed."

The Book of Knowledge flipped a page. This incomparably secret taboo knowledge made it feel both extremely unfamiliar and yet strangely familiar, as though it had once existed within its Soul.

Just as it was about to continue asking, a powerful sense of calling suddenly arose within its Soul.

"Dream Fragment!" it shouted in shock: "So the Dream Fragment was in the remains of the Abyss God! The ash was too thick, blocking its connection with the Dream Realm. No wonder I couldn’t feel the calling of the Dream Fragment in the Unknown Space—so it was here! The Heavenly Sphere Clock’s display was not wrong; it was hidden within the ashes, and isn’t that precisely absolute darkness?"
