The Last King Of Darkness

Asa urgently said: "Master, what are you doing? Quickly take me back, I’m not suited for prolonged exposure outside the Dream Realm, oh no, I can already feel the danger, the Black Fog is approaching us! Hurry, hurry, take me back!"

"Shut up!"

The mannequin suddenly shouted: "Adorlis, quickly use the Eternal Dream, the master has fallen into an ultra-inspirational state! His spirit isn’t here!"

The Book of Knowledge instantly came to its senses, it swiftly shattered a piece of the Eternal Dream, and when the dreamlike light points entered Rod’s soul, his eyes suddenly lit up.

"The utmost evil!"

Rod shouted abruptly:

"The utmost evil is deep within the starry sky! The sea of source begins at the depths of the starry sky, at the border with the endless void!"

The Book of Knowledge suddenly flapped its pages: "What? The border between the starry sky and the void? That’s the highest level of cosmic positioning...the boundless starry sky does indeed have an end at the other side, I originally thought that was just one of the chaotic pieces of information filling my spiritual body."

"What chaotic information?" Asa shouted furiously: "Quickly take me back!"

The Book of Knowledge replied: "It’s the chaotic information repeatedly infused to completely erase a part of my spirit...Master, take it back!"

"Don’t rush!"

Rod shouted: "Your task isn’t over yet, these shattered spiritual lights may contain important information, none can be missed, retrieve all of them!"

Asa urgently said: "But, it’s very dangerous, I sense great danger approaching me...it’s the Black Fog, it must be the Black Fog, the recent recall certainly alarmed the utmost evil, he’s the source of the Black Fog, he’s coming to destroy us, and that residual spirit was shattered by his power!"

"Shut up!"

Rod exclaimed as red light surged from him, instantly entering the state of the Red War God, his current self was almost indistinguishable from the ancient war god Beakleus.

Swish!

A streak of red light slashed through, thousands of Abyss Monsters instantly turned to ashes.

Without souls, these monsters were just derivatives.

Chucher exclaimed with joy: "Rod, brother, are you okay?"

With a flash of red light, Rod had already charged into the crowd of monsters, the tide of red spiritual energy instantly engulfed the world.

"Slay the monsters!"

"Yes!"

Chucher swung his massive hammer, immediately unleashing all his strength, and together with Fei Xue, Viheler, and Frank, launched a frenzied attack.

Amidst the chaotic starlight, countless Abyss Monsters emerged, but under the slaughter of one quasi-king and four primordial powerhouses, their numbers quickly dwindled.

And among the monster remains, shattered spirits occasionally emerged, and whenever they appeared, Rod would instantly fly over and absorb them with the Book of Eternity.

"Master!"

Asa, while fully absorbing the time imprint in these residual spirits, urgently yelled: "Danger, danger is approaching, let me return!"

Rod turned a deaf ear, only speeding up.

Amidst this chaotic starlight, the monsters’ strength rapidly surged, soon appearing the giant Abyss Lords and Abyss Demons, possessing second-stage and even third-stage primordial power.

However, although their absolute strength was somewhat close to Chucher and others, they were far from being able to block their footsteps; Chucher, Viheler, and Fei Xue carved out large spaces, Frank even cleared whole units of monsters alone, further enhanced, whether his mushrooms or plants inflicted even greater damage on the monsters.

Rod was not to mention, the Red War God rampaged through this space; wherever the red light passed, the dark abyssal monsters melted like snow under the blazing sun; only the scattered spiritual light could slow his pace.

"Master!" Asa cried: "I beg you, let me return! It’s too frightening, that horrific existence is closing in!"

Pop!

Rod swung the Book of Eternity, smacking a wisp of flying spiritual light, it was instantly absorbed into the pages.

"Ugh, my soul seems to be transforming, it seems to help enhance my spirit! Quick, quick, Master, there’s another one over there!"

Rod accelerated, the red light swept through the abyss monsters like a comet, collecting shattered spiritual lights into the Book of Eternity.

But as the battle progressed, the monsters’ strength began to exceed limits, a gigantic skull rose from the chaotic starlight, its super strong divine power vaguely rivaling Rod.

Boom!

Its gigantic skeletal blade suddenly appeared before Rod, colliding directly with his red light; the soaring ripples spread through the Unknown Space, like a tsunami in the star sea.

Just this one strike, Rod knew defeating it would take a long time; he immediately changed direction, concentrating on collecting residual spirits, allowing this terrifying Abyssal Skeleton to attack; he only defended, never counterattacked.

Monsters grew increasingly many, but still couldn’t halt his steps; in a blink, most spiritual lights in this space had already vanished.

But soon, a mightier monster emerged, an infinitely large black serpent, rising from the chaotic starlight, its super strong divine power faintly nearing Level 19 spiritual energy.

"Abyss Giant Snake!" Asa shouted furiously: "The Abyss God’s divine soul symbiotic! Master, we really should leave!"

Boom!

The serpent emitted a terrifying hissing sound, the whole Unknown Space vibrated.

But Rod still wasn’t ready to give up, there were still several wisps possessing time imprints echoing here.

"Come over!"

He shouted.

Viheler, Chucher, Fei Xue, Frank immediately gathered toward him, simultaneously, terrifying black spiritual energy rose in the serpent’s eyes, over a trillion strength of spiritual energy vibrated in the space.

The Book of Eternity shouted frantically: "Master, Level 19 spiritual energy! A strike of Level 19 spiritual energy!"

Boom!

A huge black beam swept through space, hitting Rod and the others squarely.

But, the next second, a pair of wings shining with pure white light rose from the black light.

Rod instantly dispersed the red light, ceased [Red War God], activated [Light Deviation].

Upon rekindling, he could always maintain the "Light Wings" state; in this state, all damage would be deflected.

Fei Xue looked in shock at Rod under the shining Light Wings, like a light angel flying down from the legendary heaven.

Swish!

The second and third pair of Light Wings unfolded from Rod’s back, enveloping her along with Viheler, Chucher, and Frank, pushing forward against the serpent’s attack, toward the last few shattered spirits, using the book in his hand to pack those dust-like spiritual lights.

The next second, the book in his hand had vanished.

But simultaneously, the space underwent unprecedented massive vibration, distorted chaotic starlight, pure black color seeped among the colorful starlight interstices.

In the Dream Realm, the Book of Knowledge shouted: "The Abyss, the primordial Abyss has collapsed!"

The rumbling sound echoed in their ears, Rod knew this Unknown Space was expanding, that black ball maintained the primordial Abyss’ foundation, this shattered Abyss should have long since collapsed.

"Run quickly!" The mannequin’s voice also became urgent: "We can’t stay here, or the collapsing Abyss will bury us!"

But just then, Rod’s inspiration was triggered again, he turned and flew in another direction.
