The Last King Of Darkness

The massive shadow surged into the Book of Eternity like a torrent, the endless ancient aura of time unveiling before him, the dawn of the Primordial Epoch shining before his eyes, the deeply buried history of eons slowly unfolding.

A huge word floated before Rod’s eyes, disappearing after a momentary flicker, followed by another line slowly emerging.

[The most powerful existence in the universe, beyond all categories, transcendent above all forces]

[It is the embodiment of order, the manifestation of the Source Law]

[All things operate according to Their will, all events commence according to Their rules; without Them, everything would be chaotic, all matters destroyed, life extinguished, the world left in darkness]

[At the birth of the universe, there were thirteen Primordial Gods on the Law Origin Ring]

Rod’s vision was drowned in a vast white light, and when it cleared, he saw a clear sky stretching for miles, scattered white clouds, and the bright yet unblinding sun behind the clouds.

Thousands of rays of light were showered upon the world below, massive towns and villages spread across the land, with dense populations seen everywhere.

In this boundless world, there was not a trace of darkness or any deformity or distortion.

And when Rod looked up, he saw beyond the high sky, thirteen shining Divine Lights overlooking the earth as if guarding the world.

Another line of text emerged before him:

[The Primordial Gods jointly maintained the order of the universe, creating a world thriving with life, and beyond this world,]

Rod’s gaze instantly stretched afar; he saw the Spirit Realm, saw the starry sky, and beyond the starry sky, the Void.

And beyond the endless Void, there was an infinite sea of fire.

[Black Fog]

Endless darkness engulfed Rod’s vision, the dark vision of the [King of Night] activated instantly, and he then saw in the darkness, beneath the shattered Abyss, within the serpent of death, a shadow slowly moving towards the center, gently touching that bizarre black sphere.

The intangible ripple instantly twisted everything; the unnameable horrifying box was thus opened, a massive black shadow extinguished the white light in the high sky, the Primordial Gods all perished, the Black Fog rapidly expanded, humanity was powerless to resist, and the world was swiftly corrupted.

The Black Fog began to evolve, more terrifying beings started to be born and nurtured in the depths of darkness.

[The thirteen Primordial Gods fallen, the Law Origin Ring shattered, the Primordial Law no longer exists, laws are in disarray, the universe’s retribution begins, the unresistable distortion spreads, the ultimate disaster descends]

Denser darkness descended, but it still couldn’t obscure Rod’s vision.

He saw, in that endless dark vortex, a twisted human shadow, infinite terrifying darkness spreading over him.

In the next instant, as if sensing something, his gaze abruptly turned over.
