The Last King Of Darkness

Rod’s heart sank. He too felt that looming threat within his soul, but it was so shocking before that he momentarily ignored it. He immediately accelerated, flying forward.

There was a glistening, changing light within a pile of ashes. Rod had never seen a Dream Fragment so clearly before. It was larger and clearer than any other Fragment he had obtained, with an incredibly profound and mysterious aura, as if it lingered at his nose, within arm’s reach.

In a flash, Rod arrived before the Dream Fragment, but before he could reach out to touch it, a great tremor suddenly shook the heavens and earth, as countless ashes fell like a storm.

"What’s happening?" The Book of Knowledge exclaimed: "Time, solidified time has started to flow!"

Rod instantly realized the trouble. He wanted to quickly take the Dream Fragment, but at the moment he reached out his hand, he saw underneath the pile of ashes was a charred corpse. The charred, carbon-like flesh was fused and stuck together, countless black bone fragments spread across the entire body, as if formed by fusing numerous charred corpses.

Boom!

Black Fire rose from the corpse, and a terrifying, distorted sound spread from its body like mud.

"The devourer of darkness, you have finally arrived!"

Rod’s heart jolted, almost instinctively, he activated [Light Deviation], and in the next second, the burning Black Fire passed through the pristine Light Wings. But how could the monster use the power of [Eye of Divine]?

The corpse monster raised its burning Black Fire hands once again, and Rod instantly knew trouble was coming. But, to Rod’s astonishment, the corpse monster didn’t chase after him. It merely spread its arms, and in the next moment, appeared before him, while at the same time, an invisible barrier enveloped the entire space, the intense Imprisonment power locking all high-speed movements.

[Spirit Realm Ship] immediately stagnated and came to a halt. The white fog dispersed, and the Black Fire rushed forward. Rod reacted swiftly, immediately activating [Light Deviation].
