The gray-yellow haze swept rapidly through the sewer. Countless pieces of old adult shit were stripped away by an invisible force and gathered into Asa’s Soul Body. His turbid Soul surged and rolled as if feasting ravenously; a nauseating laugh spread from within his Soul Body. Just from the sound, one could tell Asa was eating with great relish.

In the Dream Realm, the Book of Knowledge said with disgust: "I really can’t believe that this kind of guy is actually one of the Dream Realm’s members."

The doll said softly: "Adorlis, this is something we can’t help. If not for him, would you go eat it?"

This sentence hit the sore spot. The Book of Knowledge had to admit that Aphro was right. Asa was an irreplaceable member of the Dream Realm; this was perhaps the greatest change the master had brought to the Dream Realm.

"Fine." The Book of Knowledge looked at Asa, who was rampaging madly through the sewer, devouring, and sighed: "Let’s hope everything goes smoothly."

On the other side, Rod was also praying in his heart. Although everything was developing exactly as he had planned, he still had no confidence about whether they could actually succeed. Whether the so‑called "Divine Blood" was really sunk at the bottom level of the sewer; whether, after more than a thousand years, it could still be used; even if it could, whether it could truly help them pass through the Black Domain—these were all unknowns.

Fortunately, he did not have to suffer for too long in waiting. The current Asa was no longer what he had been. His Soul Position had already reached the Primordial level, only lacking strong Spiritual Energy, Divine Power, and a Divine Country. He was not a complete Primordial Strong, more like a vine clinging to a great tree. His mode of existence was extremely special, and in the Dream Realm, the Book of Knowledge, the Book of Eternity, the doll, the Tower Spirit, and the evil spirit were all like this.

Although he had no Spiritual Energy, his Soul Power was not weak. After absorbing the Spirits and souls of malicious thoughts, he had become extremely robust. The excrement he devoured had already formed some kind of special "Law" within his Soul—a semi‑transparent gelatinous existence similar to Source Material, formed from a mixture of many kinds of Source Laws, among which the largest proportion was "activity," followed by "pollution" and "entropy exchange," plus many other kinds of Source Laws that Rod could not recognize.

Within Asa’s soul, this bizarre Source Material displayed extremely powerful Law strength. He could already, to a great extent, control matters and rules related to excrement—for example, he could halt the discharge of waste heat within an enemy’s body, the conversion of Spiritual Energy, the exchange of soul‑entropy, and even the normal breathing of a Soul Body. As Asa himself said, anything related to excrement fell under his jurisdiction.

Rod truly found it hard to believe that Asa had actually walked out onto a path of becoming the King who Devours Excrement. On this path, everything filthy—and everything related to filth—bowed beneath his feet. Just like now, Asa was sweeping through the entire sewer like a storm, devouring tens of thousands of filthy substances into his Soul Body.

When this turbid yellow‑black storm came to a halt, the ground of the sewer had, on average, dropped by ten yards. The "riverbed" had sunk by at least twenty yards. The "water level" suddenly became extremely low, and the entire sewer now looked much more spacious.

"Asa!"

Rod stared at that churning mass of turbid Soul. "Have you sensed the existence of the Divine Blood?"

"Not yet, but I can feel its special nature!"

Asa’s voice was incomparably excited. He was frantically digesting these nutrient‑rich substances, filtering out the essence he needed and spitting the useless dregs out of his Soul. The whole process made him feel incomparably wonderful.

"Hahaha, more Polluted Essence! My Law of Excrement has taken yet another step forward!"

"I want more. My Law is still not strong enough. I still need stronger Souls. I want to devour more malicious thoughts, I want to devour Dark Spirits, devour the Supreme Will. I want to possess a God’s Soul, a God’s Law—only then can I become the King who Devours Excrement!"

Amid the intense sounds of chewing, more dregs were spat out. These were Spiritless dust, of no value whatsoever; all existences with Spirit had been filtered out by Asa.

"The Divine Blood, the master’s Divine Blood—where is it?"

"Ah, I feel it, this special aura, this power completely incompatible with pollution... My God, what on earth is this?"

Asa let out a cry of astonishment. His Soul rolled even more violently. Rod clearly saw countless tiny red lights, as fine as motes of dust, gathering within Asa’s Soul.

He waited nervously. He did not know how much time had passed before a drop of congealed blood was spat out from the Soul Body.

Suppressing his excitement, Rod picked it up. It looked just like a red gemstone, crystal clear, with a distinct boundary separating it from the outside world. However, the faintly rippling waves on the surface of the Divine Blood showed that in essence it was still a drop of blood.

"So this is Divine Blood?"

Asa shouted excitedly: "It must be, master. I felt its extraordinariness within my Soul. Even after being scattered into hundreds of millions of particles of dust, it still rejected this world, refused my absorption and Fusion. It only gathered with itself, as if some power were guiding it."

In the Dream Realm, the Book of Knowledge, the doll, and Asa also carefully observed this legendary "Divine Blood." After more than a thousand years of stillness, it didn’t seem to have suffered any pollution or undergone any corruption.

"Very peculiar." The Book of Knowledge muttered: "It looks like a special kind of Source Material, a sort of internal circulating Law existing within the Divine Blood. It seems very similar to special constructs like us."
