Chapter 75: I Will Surpass You
Once again, White felt humiliated. Earlier, it was humiliation in terms of strength. Now, it was humiliation in terms of intelligence. She felt like an idiot for actually believing that ridiculous idea that Nexus genuinely wanted her to stop crying.
Since crying wasn’t working, White decided to curse instead. It was probably just as useless, but at least cursing right into Nexus’s face felt better than crying like a little kid.

But before White could even finish a single insult, Nexus stuffed a few fingers into her mouth, making it impossible for her to say a complete sentence.
"That’s enough. If you start copying the system’s way of talking, it’ll charge you royalties."
[Stupid Master, what nonsense are you spouting now? White copying me is proof of her respect for the greatness of the system. If everyone copied the system, wouldn’t that mean everyone worships the great system?]

Seeing her act so aggressively, Nexus stopped lying there, stood up, and returned control of her body.
"Let’s just say I was joking. Stop glaring like that. You can’t do anything to me."
Nexus wasn’t joking either, but even if he told the truth, White wouldn’t believe it. Heaven and hell really were enemies, but they were enemies because of the plane’s balance.
Michael and Lucifer stood on opposite sides, but if something important involving the entire universe happened, they’d still work together, just like during the awakening ceremony that Nexus took part in.
