The next day at the break of dawn, morning dew veiled the entire Spiritual Medicine Garden in a hazy mist.

The fifty or so individuals, who had been sitting in meditation all night, were thoroughly drenched but remained completely unaware. They seemed to be fully immersed in the nurturing embrace of the Spiritual Energy, from which they could hardly extricate themselves.

Seeing this, Qin Fan didn’t deliberately wake them. Instead, after opening his eyes, he walked through the Spiritual Medicine Garden and began harvesting some of the not particularly rare Spirit Plants.

Time ticked by.

As the morning light spread and the sun rose high, the clothes of the fifty-plus individuals, damp from the dew, gradually dried. Suddenly, as if their minds were connected, they all opened their eyes in unison.

Feeling an unprecedented comfort coursing through their bodies, they all couldn’t help but entertain a single thought.

If we could stay here forever, how long could we live? Two hundred years?

Every single one of them believed it was possible.

"There are items on the stone table. Each of you take one. Amber, I’ve set yours aside separately," Qin Fan said calmly, looking at the group who had just risen to their feet. He was in the middle of sorting Spirit Plants for Alchemy. "After you’ve taken it, begin studying it on your own. How capable you become and what level of strength you can cultivate will all depend on your own creation!"

Though his voice was neither loud nor heavy, it carried clearly to everyone’s ears.

"Yes, Master!"

Led by Amber, the fifty-plus people responded in unison. They then walked in an orderly fashion toward the stone table, each picking up a copy of the Third Layer Body Refining Formulas that Qin Fan had written out on fine paper.

"After you’ve taken it, find a spot to sit and study every character within. Don’t even overlook the punctuation marks," Qin Fan commanded indifferently, not even glancing toward the stone table. "You will be spending a long time here. If you get hungry, pick some of the plants here to eat. They will be enough to sustain you. Amber, come here."

"Yes!" the group replied as one.

Though they were completely puzzled by the documents in their hands, they carried the papers back to their previous spots and began to study them with intense concentration.

"Master," Amber said, approaching Qin Fan while holding the documents containing the Fifth Layer Body Refining Formulas.

"Amber, over the next few days, I will refine enough elixirs to last you for three months," Qin Fan stated, setting aside the Spirit Plants he was sorting. "Aside from your portion, which I will set aside for you, you will distribute the rest to the others. I don’t have much time, and I don’t know how long the Forbidden City will remain patient, so three months is the limit. In three months, you must come out of seclusion. What you achieve will depend on your own creation. Amber, my expectation for you is to reach the Gang Realm! With the item in your hand, and as long as you have sufficient aptitude, the Gang Realm won’t be a problem. Seize this opportunity and make good use of the time. In three months, I expect my Ghost Squadron to take the entire Martial Arts World by storm!"

Gang Realm? Reach the Gang Realm in three months?

Hearing Qin Fan’s words, Amber’s mind went completely blank. She was currently only at the Dark Energy Peak. To break through to the Gang Realm from there in just three months? That sounded even more unbelievable than someone with no Martial Arts Cultivation becoming a Transformation Realm Grandmaster in three months!

"Master, the Gang Realm?" Amber asked, her eyes wide with disbelief, wondering if she had misheard him.

"Yes, the Gang Realm. If your aptitude is sufficient, leaping to the Gang Realm in three months is entirely possible. But aptitude is a tricky thing; no one can say for sure. It all depends on one’s innate creation. Just remember my words: three months. You have three months at most," Qin Fan reiterated.

"Yes, Master! I will not fail to live up to your high expectations!" Amber replied resolutely, tightening her grip on the documents, knowing that Qin Fan never made baseless claims.

"Go on."

At Qin Fan’s dismissive wave and smile, Amber gave a respectful reply and quickly walked toward an empty space in the distance, documents in hand.

「Five days passed consecutively.」

Qin Fan spent the entire time immersed in Alchemy. For those five days, the fragrance of elixirs permeated the Spiritual Medicine Garden. For the fifty or so people there, it seemed they didn’t need to eat or drink. Merely smelling the aroma was enough to supply their bodies with energy.

However, aside from Amber, none of them knew what Qin Fan was actually doing. He had not, after all, performed his Alchemy in front of them.

When the last batch of elixirs was finally concocted, Qin Fan, who had worked relentlessly for five days without sleep, let out a deep breath. He packed the elixirs into several long boxes and then returned the Longevity Furnace to his storage space. Only then did he stretch his stiff muscles and step out from the shadows.

"Master!"

Upon seeing Qin Fan appear, Amber immediately put down the documents she was holding and hurriedly stood up to call out to him.

Five days wasn’t a long time, and although her own Martial Arts Cultivation hadn’t changed visibly, Amber sensed a subtle, indescribable feeling of an impending breakthrough. It was as if she were facing an elusive bottleneck, though she couldn’t articulate it. This vague feeling excited her. As a Martial Cultivator, she knew that such a sensation often signaled that an opportunity was just around the corner.

And this was after a mere five days. She hadn’t even grasped a tenth of what was written in the documents.

"Mm. The elixirs are ready. I’m handing them to you," Qin Fan said. "For the first month, one pill a day. The second month, two pills a day. The third month, three pills a day. Distribute them accordingly.

"Alright, I must be going. The rest is up to you. In three months, I will await your triumphant return! During this period, no one is to leave the Spiritual Medicine Garden. Of course, if anyone dares to intrude, show no mercy!"

By the end of his speech, Qin Fan’s voice had turned chillingly cold.

"Yes!" Holding the several long boxes Qin Fan handed her, Amber’s delicate body trembled slightly as she felt the cold, grim intent in his words.

"I’m leaving."

With a wave of his hand after speaking, Qin Fan turned and walked away with a carefree stride.

"Farewell, Master!" Amber shouted, bowing toward his retreating back.

Following her lead, the other fifty or so people quickly snapped out of their meditative states. They looked at the lean, unassuming figure and called out in unison, "Farewell, Master!"

"In three months, I will be waiting for you to emerge from seclusion!"

A faint, roguish smile touched the corners of his lips. Without looking back, Qin Fan’s clear, laughing shout echoed as he finished speaking. He pulled open the great gate of the Spiritual Medicine Garden and walked out.

「Meanwhile.」

Medicine Valley was receiving some extremely unwelcome guests.

In the council hall of Medicine Valley, Yao Junxian, his face livid, stared at the sinister face before him. "Miao Clan Leader, your Gu Clan entering our Medicine Valley without so much as a word... what is the meaning of this?"

"Oh, Valley Master Yao, given the relationship between the Gu Clan and your Medicine Valley, what need is there for such fussy formalities for a simple visit? Besides, I was planning to give you a surprise! I just didn’t expect you to be so displeased by my arrival," a youth said with a mocking laugh, shaking his head with a wild, wicked air.

His expression held not the slightest trace of respect for Yao Junxian, or even for Medicine Valley itself.
