Kumiko felt the corner of her lips twitch when she saw Higo in front of her bowing deeply, both hands clasped in front of her as if he was begging for the whole world here.

Well, to some extent, he was, since his request was indeed out of this world.

"You ask me to help you win against Bayern? Ryukkun, I am so flattered that you think so highly of me, but the best thing I could do is to analyze their game, you know? I am not a miracle worker here." The girl sighed helplessly while enjoying the éclair that the boy brought without feeling any guilt.

Higo's face fell for a moment, looking like he was unwilling to accept it. "So, you mean that it is really impossible for me to stop them?"

"Impossible? No. Anything can still happen in football. However, I don't think that your team has what it needs to create that miracle, you know?" Kumiko sighed while shaking her head as the answer. "I mean, besides you, who else is willing to charge bravely at them? Count me one, please?"

Higo opened his mouth to answer, and yet, no words escaped there, not even one.

Honestly, if Nassim or Morita were there, he would be confident enough to say that those two were still eyeing a victory no matter how slim the chance was, but one was gone, and the other was still recovering from injury, so no one truly thought that they stood a chance against Bayern.

Hell, when the three veterans and even the captain last year declared that this game was a lost cause, there was no way anyone else would be willing to exert their muscles more than necessary.

Seeing her boyfriend's dejected look, Kumiko couldn't help but let out a sigh, leaning her body back against the couch.

"You know what, I can help you analyze their offensive line, from patterns, habits, and strong points. However, I don't know how far it could help you." She finally said.

Once the girl saw her boyfriend had his eyes light up, though, she added quickly, "Mind you, this is not a formula to create a miracle itself. You have to work hard to convince the others that the team has a chance, so my analysis would help you in that regard. As for the rest, I cannot be responsible for that."

"No, that's fine, Kumiko-chan! That's more than what I hope for!" Higo hugged her tightly, enough to make her squeal. After a little peck on her cheek, the boy grinned widely at her. "Anyway, don't worry about how to convince them! I have my own way!" He patted his chest confidently.

Kumiko had one of her eyebrows arched at that statement, wondering what kind of plan her boyfriend was trying to cook. Even though Higo was never the smart type at school, the girl knew that her boyfriend was brilliant when he truly applied his brain to the right place.

Still, since Higo decided to be tight-lipped, Kumiko just shrugged before opening her laptop, starting to work on her boyfriend's request.

Sakura also came out of her room to check on them, and she couldn't help but snort when she heard what Kumiko was doing.

"You sure know how to dump a fucking whole bomb on your girlfriend, Ryusuke. Aren't you ashamed of yourself?" She asked; her tone was full of mockery.

Higo's face flushed red instantly, and even with a stutter, the boy tried to defend himself here, which of course would lead to another bickering between the two. Kumiko herself just rubbed her forehead in a headache, wondering what kind of sin she committed in her past life to have to deal with this situation.

Fortunately, analyzing Bayern's frontline and finding out their weakness were two different matters, and what Higo asked, the former one, was definitely easier to do. After all, Bayern Munich was the biggest club in the world right now, and so many famous pundits had already dissected their game from head to toe without missing anything else.

What Kumiko needed was just to make sure that the analysis matched reality, which cut more than half of what she had to do if the girl had to start from scratch.

"Okay, so, this summer, they had just lost Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Perisic, so you don't need to have to worry about them." Kumiko started explaining.

Higo somehow let out a relieved sigh when he heard that. Those two were indeed quite troublesome, especially the Brazilian one. The man's arsenal varied from powerful long shots, curls, dribbles, free kicks, and so much more, and he definitely excelled in most of them.

The boy still remembered well how he got destroyed by that free kick in February earlier this year, and while he wanted to have revenge, it would be better if he didn't have to face Coutinho in the Bayern jersey.

"In return, though, they have two more aggressive wingers, which are Leroy Sane and Serge Gnabry. Two different types of wingers from the national team." The girl continued. "The former likes to hug the touchline, beating the fullback and providing support from either cross or cut inside. As for the latter, he operates in the channel space, often becoming the team's second striker besides Lewandowski and letting Alphonso Davies run loose on that flank."

This time, Higo grimaced a little, having already imagined how troublesome it would be to keep an eye on them both.

"Then, you also have Thomas Muller who can roam freely in any direction that he wants, and Lewandowski will also attract so many players with his gravity. Those guys are definitely the best at what they are doing, so it is clear why they are considered the most fearsome frontline in the world right now."

If anything, Higo groaned louder than ever, finding this situation to be worse than he initially thought.

"How could they have so many quality players even with the departure of Coutinho and Ivan Perisic? This is so fucking unfair!" The boy grumbled grumpily.

"Well, that is the best team in the country for you." Kumiko shrugged. "So, still having the confidence to challenge them?"
