The School of Magic is present in the district, also known as the most flourishing 'Central Street' in the Wang capital.

When I got there, the magnificent and brilliant school building first came to my attention.

"Your exam number is 99, right? Good luck."

When I went to the reception, they gave me a name tag that said '99', so I put that on my chest.

Well... exams.

I fell here, and I can't imitate the pity of going back to the village.

I went back to my temper and went inside the school building.

Apparently, the entrance exam for the Rosanlilla School of Magic is divided into written and practical skills.

First the written exam, so we were packed into the classroom designated by the exam number.

"Exam time is ninety minutes. Everybody, do your best!

By decree from the examiner, everyone turns the form to the table simultaneously.

Well... I think I can handle the practical exam, but I'm worried about the written exam.

Whatever. This is the world 1,000 years later than it was in previous life.

Because it's not weird that all the common sense that was in me is falling apart.

In the fifteen years of Kako, I was all betrayed by the common sense that was in me...

I squeezed my mind tight, grabbed my pen and looked at the problem.

...... yeah. If this is it, I'm going to figure it out.

The field of history was a little difficult for me, but I've been studying it for a while, so I think I can handle it.

It is centered on the past 200 years or so of history.

A thousand years ago —— how is the world I lived in communicated?

I read through the literature, but it didn't say anything about the magical revolution a thousand years ago.

Because it's too old?

No, it was just a thousand years ago. Hard to think about.

I'll even answer with that in mind.

Okay, next up is the magic field.

You don't have to worry about anything about this.

It's just a matter of dropping even further down to the student level in a world where magic technology is in decline.

In fact, as I looked through it, there was a line of issues that were too easy for me.

"Question - Answer one wrong part of this magic ceremony"

Hmm?

What the hell.

It's not one place, it's almost wrong. It's a bullshit magic ceremony.

You think you can combine magic with something like this?

After much calculation, twenty-eight places made mistakes.

Or better to rewrite it from the beginning, it's not a waste of time.

So I rebuilt the magic ceremony from scratch.

"Question Maromerg Discuss the characteristics of this magic formation developed by Dr. Magic and how it will be used in combat"

Maromerg, Dr. Magic?

That's a name I've never heard of.

But the magic formations written were too low-quality.

Even though it's no big deal, we're gonna have a blast like this, okay?

Oh, should I write that it's a terrible magic formation?

I wrote down the shortcomings of this magic formation, even.

And it's useless in battle. Still, if I was forced to use it, I wrote this together.

I'm going to solve the problem at this rate.

But when I plugged into the last issue, the pen stopped for a moment.

Because it was obviously not the same difficulty as it was around there.

"Hmm..."

I accidentally leak my voice.

That should be it, too.

—— This is because a thousand years ago, a magic theory was written that I launched.

But apparently what it says is wrong.

By the month of 1000, you mean it was incorrectly communicated?

But of all the magic theories that I launched, this was built so that even children could understand it.

It's not that hard either.

It was just a little harder than the others, but this would also fall within the student level range.

(... All right. Is that it?)

and whine in my heart.

What's left... 60 minutes?

There's still time.

Looking around, everyone was still running the pen silently.

I guess I'm going to do a review until the end.

But the level of the problem was so low that it's hard to assume you're having a careless miss.

So I stuck it at my desk and decided to stay asleep for the remaining 60 minutes.

"Exam over......! Put the pen on your desk."

I woke up with the voice of the test tube.

Answer forms are collected to

"Next up is the practical exam. Everybody, get together in the school yard."

Leaving behind, the test tube left the classroom.

I listened to my surrounding voice as I followed everyone in the direction they were headed too.

"That was the exam for the prestigious Rosanlilla School of Magic."

"Oh, it was hard... I might not have solved a quarter"

"Especially the last problem, what's that? It was the first thing I saw?

Apparently, they're all unsure.

But I guess this is deliberately degrading to keep everyone alert.

Because it's hard to imagine that someone taking an entrance exam for the School of Magic won't solve that much of a problem.

Keeping your opponent alert is fundamental in battle.

"Maybe we can't all be insulted (ah, etc.)"

Fair enough.

Next up is the practical exam.

I wouldn't be bored more than with my earlier written exam.

As I followed everyone, I arrived at a place like a huge schoolyard.
