Me and Celia were at the training ground, finishing our conversation with Mr. Cannon.

Then there were two faces I saw. When you look at our faces, they look a little surprised.

"Slade, Celia, were you here"

"You're okay now..."

"Oh, you guys are going to be okay..."

"Good morning, brother, Mr. Noir"

The two of them are Selik and Noir.

The two, in their battle with the Dark Knight, were once deprived of their souls. But it looks okay now.

I'm a little relieved about that. I was worried that the loss of my soul would have some after-effects.

"Both of you, when you're feeling better, are you training fast?

"Huh! You and Celia would be the same, wouldn't you?

To my word, Selik returned it that way.

Sure, we came here for the same purpose, so we can't say anything back.

"Besides, I realized in this battle that we need to be more empowered..."

"Selik......?

"Whatever Noir was, I couldn't defeat the Dark Knight. So I thought I had to work myself out from scratch."

Apparently, Selik cares that he couldn't defeat the Dark Knight.

But that's because of Irnaga's despicable hands. It doesn't mean Selik's strength was inferior.

Instead, I think Selik could have defeated Irnaga.

"Brother, but that battle..."

"Do you want to say that because they used despicable hands...

"Yes..."

Celia told me what I thought.

But Celik's face isn't clear.

"But I lost. If I had been stronger, I could have responded to those attacks."

"It's..."

"You'd be better off beating Irnaga than I could have done that"

"Brother......"

Plus, Celik has said that to Celia.

Selik, his brother, admits to losing to his sister Celia. How hard would that be?

"That's not true."

"What?"

But Celia immediately denied it.

I just thought there was something slightly different about what Selik was saying, too.

It is the order of battle.

"I was able to beat Irnaga because I was watching your brother fight. If it were in the opposite order, I would have lost that despicable hand."

"It's..."

"So I don't think that means your brother is stronger than me"

"Celia......"

To Celia's words, Celik turned his eyes round.

Perhaps you didn't realize that.

It's no surprise Celia won, even if that's what she was thinking.

"Thinking about it, maybe the worst part is me..."

"Noir"

So Noir opened his mouth.

Something seems to be on my mind.

"I'm a draw. He may be lower than Mr. Selik, as he has not used his vile hands in particular."

"That's not true. It doesn't mean you're better than me when you lose."

"Is it? I don't think so, do I?

Noir, in the fight against the Dark Knight, was a draw.

The result, for Noir, seems to be something he feels is less than Selik.

It's a hard place around here. You won't be able to clearly determine which is up and which is down.

"Well, in short, judgment around it is futile."

"What?

"If that's enough to depress you, you just have to be strong. That's all I need."

"Noir......"

Noir's words were very simple and lucid.

Words and deeds are gentlemen, but noir has a fierce part to it. I therefore guess such a conclusion has been drawn.

But it is also convincing.

Even if you're worried, you're right you can't help it. If we get stronger, that should do it.

"Right. You're right."

"Yeah, I guess so."

Selik and Noir laugh at each other.

Apparently, Celik was convinced by Noir's words.

Now the stray that was in Selik's heart would also have cleared up.

"Master, you look happy"

"Oh......"

That's what Celia whispered to me.

Celia like that seems happy somewhere.

I'm glad Selik's strays are clear, I guess that means he's the same as his mentor.

"Watching that makes me want to fight those two again"

"Really?

"Oh, if you fight again, it will be a different fight. That way, I feel like I have a lot to see."

I looked at the two of them and I was feeling that.

There must be something new to see by fighting them again.

I want to feel it. By fighting, we want to raise each other up.

"I'll look forward, too. Always try to be stronger."

"Yeah, that's the best part."

"Uhm, you're right"

Selik and Noir closed the conversation in a good way.

But that's where we felt uncomfortable.

There's one person who hasn't been here before.

"The, Captain Zagil!?

"Duh, what's wrong?

"No, I was just listening because you guys were having a good time."

It was Captain Zagil of the Fifth Squad who appeared.

Apparently, you've been listening to us from the beginning.

"It's not a good idea to be a captain and eavesdropper, right?

"No, I'm sorry. But I had no choice. I needed something, and I wanted to call you, but that would block the conversation, wouldn't it?

"Oh, did you?"

Somehow, Captain Zagil came here for a favor.

Who the hell can I help you with?

"Slade, actually, I need you..."

"Huh? Is that me?

"Oh, I have so much to tell you. If you like, could you come to my captain's office?

"Well, I don't mind..."

Captain Zagil seems to have been looking for me.

Then I don't mind. But there's only one thing I have to say.

I'll turn to Celia.

"Celia, that's what I'm talking about, so I'm gonna go a little"

"Ah, yes. I'll be self-trained."

That's what Celia answers to my words.

The boulder is my sweet apprentice. Before I say anything, I really appreciate you understanding everything.

"If that's the case, you can train with us. Not as good as Slade, but there's got to be a lot to learn."

"Huh? Is that okay?

"Oh, are we unhappy?

"Yes, no, thank you"

Celia, who was a little worried, seems to be watching.

Then be assured. Selik, my brother, and Noir, my powerful man, would surely be a good experience for Celia as well.

"Thank you, Selik"

"Never mind. I'd rather be thankful. You're always coaching Celia."

"No, that's until I'm doing what I deserve as a master"

"I appreciate your dedication as a master. Thanks, Slade."

That's what Selik gave me back when I thanked him.

There was a lot going on, but it made me a caring man for my sister. But that would be a good thing. Celia also seems happy about what her brother said.

When I get along with these siblings, I'm happy too. Is it a little too much to even think about the disciple's family relationship?

"Well, you seem to have got the story together. So, will you come?

"Yes."

This is how I headed to Captain Zagil's captain's office.
