Sophie Wexler’s eyes sparkled as she looked at him after she finished speaking.

Cillian Forrest cleared his throat and changed the subject. "Weren’t you looking for a manager?"

"I was." Sophie Wexler nodded.

She knew her future career wouldn’t be limited to streaming; there would be other in-person work as well.

Streaming was just because she had no money at the beginning, and it was the most accessible way for her to use her professional skills.

She wouldn’t deny that the platform was excellent, but her future plan was to become a singer and bring people joy and energy in her own way.

Plus, her songs could soothe the Spiritual Sea. She had seen what Cillian Forrest looked like when his Spiritual Sea was in turmoil. Even for a man with such a high tolerance for pain, his suffering was obvious—to say nothing of ordinary people.

She hoped to do everything in her power to help soothe them.

All of this would surely involve a huge workload, more than she could handle alone. She would definitely need a team, but for now, the most important thing was to find a manager.

"But I’ve reviewed a few applicants these past few days, and none of them were a good fit," Sophie Wexler said, looking troubled.

She didn’t have many resources here, so finding a top-tier manager would be difficult.

"I found someone for you," Cillian Forrest said.

"Hm?" At his words, Sophie Wexler instantly looked up at him.

"You have those kinds of connections?"

"I know a lot of people," Cillian Forrest said calmly.

"That’s true," Sophie Wexler nodded.

"So, where is he? Shouldn’t I go meet him?" Sophie Wexler asked.

"He’s already at the military base."

Sophie Wexler: "Huh?" ’He works that fast?’

「Elsewhere.」

Ethan Cross looked at the man in front of him and warned, "Whatever you do, don’t let the Marshal’s identity slip."

"Don’t worry. My lips are sealed. How else could I have survived in this business for so long?" Benjamin Wyatt made a zipping motion across his mouth.

He was trying to reassure him.

Benjamin Wyatt was Ethan Cross’s childhood friend. He also came from one of the great noble families, but he was different from the others.

Most children of the nobility either joined the military or went into politics.

But Benjamin Wyatt wasn’t interested in any of that. He had thrown himself headfirst into the entertainment industry, vowing to make the Empire’s arts and culture flourish.

Everyone said he was unreliable, and even Ethan Cross used to think so.

In an Empire that revered martial strength, arts and entertainment were seen as disposable. What was the point of developing them? It would be better to focus on building a couple of new battleships and mechs.

However, those thoughts had gradually begun to change after he met Miss Wexler.

Putting aside the fact that Miss Wexler’s songs could soothe the Spiritual Sea, he also saw that many people simply loved her music, experiencing a spectrum of life’s emotions through it.

So this time, when the Marshal mentioned that Miss Wexler was looking for a manager, his childhood friend was the first person who came to mind.

Just then, Ethan Cross sensed a fluctuation in the surrounding energy. "The Marshal and Miss Wexler are here."

"Remember, not a word."

The moment they finished speaking, the door was pushed open from the outside.

Seeing this, Benjamin Wyatt immediately went to greet them.

He was incredibly curious about this person who could quell a Spiritual Sea rampage with just her singing.

If it weren’t for the Marshal’s presence, he would have definitely studied her from top to bottom.

But that was just a thought. He extended a hand to Sophie Wexler. "Hello, my name is Benjamin Wyatt."

"Hello, Sophie Wexler." Sophie Wexler returned his handshake lightly, then quickly let go.

As Benjamin Wyatt was sizing up Sophie Wexler, she was doing the same to him.

"Let’s get down to business," Cillian Forrest said from the side, cutting short Benjamin Wyatt’s intention to continue with the pleasantries.

Benjamin Wyatt reached up to rub his nose and reined in his thoughts.

He was still very afraid of Cillian Forrest. To be precise, there probably wasn’t a single Empirean who wasn’t afraid of Cillian Forrest.

The group sat down, and Benjamin Wyatt took out a file, handing it to Sophie Wexler.

It contained a brief self-introduction: name, gender, age, and profession.

Following that was a lengthy career plan for her. It was concise and condensed, without a single wasted word, yet every point coincided perfectly with Sophie Wexler’s own ideas.

After reading it carefully, she had already made her decision.

However, Sophie Wexler put down the file and looked up. "I’ll have to go to the Capital Planet later?"

"Of course," Benjamin Wyatt replied affirmatively. "Across the entire Empire, the Capital Planet has the best resources of all kinds. It’s the most advantageous place for development. You definitely have to go."

Hearing this, Sophie Wexler lowered her gaze.

"You don’t want to go to the Capital Planet?"

Seeing Sophie Wexler’s somewhat resistant expression, Benjamin Wyatt’s eyes filled with disbelief. ’There’s actually someone who doesn’t want to go to the Capital Planet?’

He was just about to speak when a glance from Cillian Forrest froze him in place.

Benjamin Wyatt swallowed his rebuttal. ’What can I do? The Marshal is here.’

"Let’s talk about the Capital Planet later," Sophie Wexler said.

Seeing that Sophie Wexler clearly didn’t want to discuss it further, and with Cillian Forrest right there, Benjamin Wyatt had no choice but to move past the topic.

But he secretly resolved to convince Sophie Wexler to go to the Capital Planet.

Only when arts and entertainment on the Capital Planet flourished would the subsidiary planets follow suit.

"Well then, if there are no other issues, let’s sign the contract." Benjamin Wyatt took out the contract he had prepared in advance.

Sophie Wexler picked up the contract and glanced over it. Just as she was about to confirm it was fine, Cillian Forrest spoke up from the side. "Wait."

Sophie Wexler paused. "Hm?"

Benjamin Wyatt: ’Huh?’

’Marshal, what are you doing? There’s nothing wrong with my contract.’

"What’s wrong?" Sophie Wexler asked. ’Could there be a problem with the contract? But didn’t he introduce him to me?’

"Add another clause," Cillian Forrest said. "In the event of a dispute between the two of you, Sophie Wexler’s wishes will take precedence."

Benjamin Wyatt: ’What??’

’How am I supposed to get her to go to the Capital Planet with a clause like that?’

"What if her choice isn’t the right one?" Benjamin Wyatt asked, not ready to give up.

Cillian Forrest, sitting opposite him, lifted his eyes and gave him a placid look.

Benjamin Wyatt conceded. "Fine." ’What can I do? She’s the one the Marshal is protecting.’

After amending the contract, the two of them quickly signed their names.

After putting down her pen, Sophie Wexler said, "Don’t worry. As long as your decisions are sound, I won’t refuse."

"I look forward to working with you," Sophie Wexler said with a smile, extending her hand.

A major weight had been lifted from her shoulders, and Sophie Wexler was in a great mood.

Benjamin Wyatt: "I look forward to working with you."

The moment the contract was signed, Benjamin Wyatt switched into work mode almost instantly.

"I heard you were framed for plagiarism?" This was something he had only learned about after he arrived.

Sophie Wexler nodded. "But it should be resolved by now."

Benjamin Wyatt had watched her recent stream. He had to admit, her reaction was incredibly fast and her solution was excellent, but there was one thing.

"You still need to find evidence that they slandered you."

Sophie Wexler nodded.

"And what about the record companies that applied for copyright partnerships? Do you have a favorite?"

After Sophie Wexler had proven herself in the shared broadcast room, those record companies had done a complete one-eighty and all sent her new partnership invitations.

Sophie Wexler’s lips curled into a smile, but her eyes were ice-cold. "I’m not partnering with a single one of them!"
