Leon’s POV

While Lucielle was busy fighting the other two, I had my hands completely full dealing with these four, all of whom looked absolutely determined to kill me before they even considered helping the others.

Asmodeus brought her massive broadsword crashing down toward me, clearly trying to split me clean in half with a single overwhelming strike. I managed to stop it with Samui before immediately forcing the enormous blade away from me. The instant that opening appeared, Beelzebub launched herself straight at me. Her entire body compressed like a tightly wound spring before releasing all that stored force at once, allowing her to burst forward with terrifying speed.

Even so, I still managed to avoid it.

The attack missed by the narrowest possible margin.

I twisted my body into an angle that honestly shouldn’t have been possible for any normal person. It was the sort of movement that would’ve snapped someone’s spine without question, yet I bent just enough for her attack to barely scrape past me before I immediately regained my balance.

At the same time, Satania kept coming after me without giving me even a brief moment to catch my breath.

She threw punch after punch, and every single one carried enough force to push me backward whenever our attacks collided. Blocking them wasn’t exactly pleasant either. Every impact felt like getting hit by a battering ram, and the pressure behind each punch made the surrounding air shake from the sheer force alone.

Her speed was incredible, and the way she linked one attack into another made it feel like she planned to keep swinging until one of them finally landed.

Fortunately, I could still keep up with her pace without falling behind.

Most of her attacks ended up missing because I narrowly dodged them one after another, weaving around her fists while searching for an opportunity to strike back.

"Just die already!" she shouted at me. "Why are you making this so difficult for us?!"

"Why would I willingly let myself get killed?" I answered without missing a beat.

She wasn’t stupid or anything like that, but hearing her say something like that honestly made me think it was a pretty ridiculous thing to ask in the middle of a fight.

"You should just die! For the sake of the world!"

She kept yelling while throwing another relentless barrage of attacks my way.

One fist came flying toward my face, followed immediately by a kick aimed at my ribs. The moment that missed, another punch was already rushing toward my chest before I could even fully recover from the last dodge. She attacked at an unbelievable pace, but I was still managing to deal with everything she threw at me.

While all of that was happening, Beelzebub continued using the same trick she had shown earlier during our fight.

She left puddles of herself scattered all across the battlefield. The plan was pretty obvious to me now. If I accidentally stepped into one of them, she’d immediately trap me again.

Naturally, I wasn’t about to ignore something that obvious.

I kept one eye on her movements throughout the entire fight. Whenever she attacked by stretching parts of her body or creating additional clones of herself, I made sure to avoid those attacks while counterattacking whenever a suitable opportunity appeared.

Meanwhile, Asmodeus never stopped pressuring me with that absurdly huge sword of hers.

Whenever I managed to throw Satania off balance or create even a little distance between us, Asmodeus immediately stepped in to pin me down. Every swing of that massive broadsword carried enough power to cut me clean in half if I made even a single mistake.

Fortunately, standing still was never part of my plan.

I kept jumping away, slipping past the edge of her blade whenever it came down. Whenever dodging wasn’t possible, I raised Samui and blocked the strike directly before immediately forcing the sword away from me again.

Despite the ridiculous size of her weapon, she swung it much faster than anyone should’ve realistically been able to.

Still, from my perspective, it simply wasn’t enough.

Compared to everything else happening around me, her attacks actually looked slow inside my field of vision.

I could read every swing before it reached me.

The moment another slash came toward me, I blocked it with Samui before driving her blade aside with all the force I could put behind the movement.

"Ugh...!"

That reaction was exactly what I expected from her.

Since I still had enough time before Satania reached me again and before Beelzebub launched another attack, I decided to take full advantage of the opening that had appeared.

I drove my foot straight into Asmodeus’ stomach with as much force as I could.

The kick landed cleanly, sending her flying backward across the battlefield before she could recover.

Almost immediately after that, Beelzebub appeared right beside me once again.

She had already positioned herself to attack, but unfortunately for her, I had already recovered from kicking Asmodeus away.

Without wasting even a second, I swung Samui backward and slammed the flat of the blade directly into her face, sending her flying across the battlefield.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t actually her real body.

It turned out to be another clone instead.

The very next moment, seven different Beelzebubs rushed toward me from different directions at almost the exact same time.

I immediately drew Ayuru alongside Samui before cutting through every single clone that surrounded me.

Since both of them were cursed swords, any wounds they inflicted couldn’t simply regenerate like ordinary injuries.

Even though it wasn’t Beelzebub’s real body that had been cut apart, those clones were still created from her own flesh. They remained connected to the original body in a sense, meaning any damage they suffered would still be reflected back onto her.

"Urk...!"

Her knees immediately gave out beneath her.

All seven of her clones disappeared at once, leaving only her original body behind while she struggled to remain standing.

Meanwhile, Satania refused to slow down for even a moment.

She charged toward me again, throwing punches even faster than before. It almost felt like she’d become even stronger during the short exchange, which honestly wasn’t the kind of surprise I wanted in the middle of this fight.

At the same time, Belphegor, who had been supporting Satania from the back by continuously strengthening her abilities with magic, finally decided to make her own move.

She suddenly unleashed a spell aimed directly at me.

A massive fireball formed in front of her before shooting across the battlefield with incredible speed.

That wasn’t the kind of spell an average magician could cast so casually.

Only someone with tremendous magical ability could create a fireball carrying that much destructive power.

I simply swung Samui without any unnecessary hesitation.

The instant my blade sliced through the fireball, the spell split neatly into two halves before rapidly losing all of its stability.

Within the next few moments, the flames completely evaporated into nothing, as though the attack had never existed in the first place.
