The World of Masks

Invasion of Australia

Unlike when fighting Humans, you create a lot of obstacles that blunt the enemy's movements, but you don't have the kind of cover you need to avoid firing. In my combat experience, I didn't even think it was necessary.

Kuang!

Another cannonball drops. This time, you hit the middle of the road with a bunch of unfortunate troops.

The people who were hit fell down, not even one by one. No, "shredded" was more accurate. The soldiers around you were also injured by the debris.

"Ahhhh!"

"My leg! My leg!"

Soldiers roll around, catching on to bloody or punctured wounds. A terrible scream echoes through the battlefield. Some of them speak only of grave wounds. I didn't even have the strength to shout. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have a chance of survival.

Kuang!

There's been another explosion. However, the explosion was not with the Allied forces, but with the Demon Lord.

Kuang! Kuang! Kuang!

A storm of cannonballs erupts from the Demon King's camp. A shotgun cannonball fired from the center of the city strikes the Legion of the Elder Demon King. A hole in the Demon King's camp, standing in a dense circle, is being punctured. However, despite the damage, the Demon King's camp continues to fire cannonballs into the Allied Forces.

"Cover up now! Find cover in the building or whatever!"

Soldiers scramble for cover next to a house under fire.

Kuang!

Another cannonball drops right next to the moving soldiers. A group of soldiers are furious and hide behind a large, seemingly fallen SUV like roaches on the run.

"What the fuck is going on? Why are those guys firing cannonballs?"

"Do I know that? Shut up and keep your head down!"

Kuang!

A cannonball drops over the car they've used as a cover. The soldiers nod in haste.

Lardass!

Fragments of solid asphalt spill over their heads. The dust settles. My ears were numb and I was completely out of my mind. I stumbled and couldn't get the body right, so the humans leaning against the car jumped out.

"Sa, are you alive?"

"Somehow."

Asking each other how they were, the soldiers barely started to gather. The dirt was somewhat dog and the situation was horrifying. A big hole was dug in the middle of the road, and the car they used to cover was covered with holes. The soldiers swallow their saliva. I had a pretty good idea what they'd be in by now if I didn't use them as collateral.

"Damn it!"

Somebody spit it out. I couldn't stand it if I didn't really say a word.

The moaning of the battlefield echoes through the battlefield, and a flare of cannonballs continues to rise from both the opposing faction and the allied faction. This is not the battle of monsters and the Undead they know. It was a modern human struggle to inflict this kind of firepower and force damage, not a sword fighting monster or undead with high vitality and immortality.

"Hey. What's that?"

A soldier watching the situation with his face all over the car called out to his colleagues in a trembling voice.

"Huh? What?"

One by one, your colleagues point their faces out onto the vehicle and look toward the Demon Prince. Soon, their expressions hardened.

There are two hateful beings approaching from that side. Demons who appear out of nowhere and brutally kill humans. But I've seen a lot of monsters and undead, but I've never seen one who really lowers their morale to the ground like the ones who showed up this time.

He was dead. That's for sure. Nothing surprising. Most of those so-called undead were in the form of dead people. At least the bones that walk around in the first place aren't on Earth. However, the dead are different from the undead Skeleton the Allied forces have come to know.

They had flesh. He looks human and makes a slight voice. But they were never human.

The protruding eyes protrude near the bowl and are attracted to the ground every step of the sprayed viscera. As soon as the blood ran out, the skin was pale like a blank slab, and some appeared unfiltered in the grotesque appearance of bone piercing through the skin.

"A little ratio."

A soldier gives you a bewildered look. The other soldiers unconsciously nod. Zombies, there is no word to describe the horrors beyond that word.

The appearance and existence alone are enough to distract the soldiers from their minds, but the clothes they're wearing drive them into a panic with more soldiers.

They were horribly allied military uniforms.

Moreover, at first glance, he was armed with Allied weapons and had all the ranking and military markings. Of course, the body was about to mop, but the uniform couldn't have been better. Most of them were covered in blood and torn and burst.

"They can't be. Wasn't that the Alliance that died in the previous battle?"

Someone spits it out dazed. At that moment, the other soldiers felt their backs shivering and their heads twitching. I felt goosebumps all over my body.

Of course, there was suspicion that the enemy had undead the people of New Zealand during the siege, and most soldiers accepted it as true. But all along it was the people of New Zealand. The soldiers' primal fears arose when the Allied forces appeared neither dead nor alive, just like themselves. Maybe they can look like that, too.

Heave-ho!

Immediately, the first zombies raise their guns. They used to pull the trigger.

Two or two!

The projectiles hit the Allied forces in an instant.

"Hiic!"

Most of the bullets are blocked by cover. The soldiers cower and hide behind the cover. However, those who were unlucky were still hit by the first attack.

"Cough!"

There was a neck grabber.

"Aah, my arm!"

Some grabbed the bloodstained arm and rolled around.

Phew!

Fluffy!

Some of the soldiers collapse powerlessly from being shot directly through the midsection.

"Counter it! Counter it!"

It was only then that the Allied forces began to recover their minds and counter the screams of an officer.

Tata, Tata, Tata!

The Allied forces have also begun firing. The grenade blows and the chariot fires. In an instant, the zombies are trapped inside the Allied forces' nets.

Usually, the attackers take heavy damage. The Allied forces are holed up in the city, waiting for an enemy, and the Demon Lord must break through that allied network and enter the city. An ordinary human army will be devastated until it passes through the barren wasteland and enters the city. However, the Allied forces' opponent is the undead, who will not die.

Puck! Puck!

Bullets are lodged here and there in the undead. The bullets were dug in without blocking my head, torso, arms and legs. Sometimes the bullet hits the floor while the intestines were dangling. But the undead do not stop. The point attack on the undead that doesn't die, the gun doesn't do much good. Support cannons, grenades, and anti-tank firearms flying from the rear forced the Undead to do damage.

However, the number of the Undead has declined firmly. Fortunately, the soldiers thought we could survive this long. But it didn't take long for the thought to reverse.

Squeeze!

You hear the sound of iron scraping, and something heavy appears behind the Demon King.

"Oh, fuck."

I was unconsciously insulted. The Allied forces continue their strength as they see the tank advancing behind the advancing zombies firing elongated guns. For a moment, I thought he might be an ally, but I didn't think he was an ally who was avoiding the marching zombies.

The main tanker turns and aims at the Allied forces.

"Cover your ass!"

An officer shouts at the same time .

Boom!

The cannon breathes fire and splashes its sound.

Kuang!

A whole car that had been moved to be used as a barricade was shattered and rolled into a gravel. The oil in the car is on fire or a strong flame burns out the body.

Starting with the first tank attack, other tanks continue to appear in the Demon Lord's camp and ignite. A hole has begun to break through the Allied forces' advance.

"Counter! Counter!"

Allied tanks that were stationed here and there on the road began to counterattack. An unprecedented chariot war broke out.

"What's that? You could have used those gunpowder weapons!"

"That's treason!"

Armed with swords and arrows, they were formidable. If those guys start working on gunpowder weapons for real.

Burrrrrr.

Those terrible imaginations make the soldiers tremble without you having to. Fortunately, all of the weapons you're using are stolen from the Allied forces. Even the undead are rolling in tanks, only those that look familiar. Probably not even his own production capability.

"You didn't take the plane, did you?"

A soldier mutters, pulling an elongated trigger. I was impressed by colleagues around me. It was an expression that told me not to say shit. The soldier shrugs and scatters his ammo back at the undead.

It was then.

You hear a loud engine in the air. It was like thunder. Allied soldiers instinctively look up at the sky. I can see something flying fast in the dark sky.

" Is this a joke?"

The voice of grief and despair echoes quietly. For the Allied forces, their imagination has come true.

Phishoung!

A missile has been launched at the Allied forces from a distant and faraway New Zealand plane that has flown over the Tezman Sea. Missiles that flew straight towards armored troops such as tanks and munitions soon exploded scattering heavy flames and explosions.
