Everyone went quiet and simply stared at the scene as tears ran down their eyes. No one made a sound, no one reacted. It was as though they were already expecting this, as they simply stared at him die without making a sound.

"Take him to rest in peace. Dig his grave, and let’s give him a respectful burial at least," one of the men said, and the others agreed.

They said nothing. As soon as everyone outside in the tribe learned that the tribe leader was no more, they all went down on their knees and bowed to show their respect. After that, they began preparing for his burial.

It wasn’t anything fancy or grand at all. They simply dug holes to bury their tribe leader and some other people whose bodies they could find around. As they buried them, they managed to find some flowers around and placed them around the graves.

Everywhere was quiet. Sunnie and the rest stood with them and simply observed without saying much.

Sunnie could tell that the number of people in the tribe now wasn’t what it had been initially. They were barely fifty or so. But that was to be expected—some had died, and most had simply escaped the land. No one would stay around in such chaos. Sunnie simply pitied the scene.

Soon, the burial was over, and everyone dispersed into their hiding places in the tribe. Those who didn’t have anywhere to run to hid in different places—holes and underground. They didn’t have the courage to face anything.

Sunnie and the rest stood around with some of the young men from the tribe. They were quiet for some time before Luka asked, "So? What do we do now?"

Sunnie was quiet. She sighed as she turned and stared at Little Black, who had been quiet for a while, and then asked, "Are you okay?"

Everyone stared at Little Black. He stared into thin air for a while before he said, "Where are they?"

It was a random question that no one knew what he was referring to. So he stared at the young men and asked again, "Those predator bastards—where are they?"

The young men stared at each other and then at him before one of them said, "They’re in their tribes at the moment." He said, pointing to a direction.

"What do you plan on doing?" Zukka asked.

"What else? Why we came here. We’re going to make sure we give them double the nightmare they gave to the people in our tribe. We’re going to make sure they pay." He said, filled with pain and rage. His eyes had grown red from all the pain he was feeling.

"Okay, then... if you say so, then we should get ready to strike them," Eris said with a nod. The other beast husbands nodded in agreement too. They didn’t bother questioning. They were willing to support Little Black by all means.

Zukka also nodded. "Anything you say."

The young men stared at each other and then said, "But that’s dangerous. These predator beastmen aren’t one tribe. They simply surround us... Even if they’re a tribe, a few are still more powerful than all our tribes combined. They’re wild and powerful. We can’t handle them at all." He expressed.

"Yes," another agreed. "It’s dangerous trying to go against them at all. That would be seeking instant death." The young men, even though they were supposed to be the fighters of the land, were already scared.

Little Black stared at them. "So are we supposed to sit down and wait for them to come and kill off everyone? For them to come and kill off the remaining people?"

"...."

The young men were quiet. They stared at each other and couldn’t say anything.

Little Black said, "Either way, it’s still dangerous. So let’s just take the shot and make those bastards bleed."

"And how are we supposed to do that? Do we even stand a chance?" one of the young men asked, scared.

Little Black stared at Sunnie and the beast husbands. They simply nodded at him with a smile of approval. And so Little Black turned to the young men and said, "All you have to do is trust us and support us in the ways you can. Even if you choose to sit here and do nothing, they still won’t let anyone off until they’re done eliminating each and every one and taking this land for themselves. That’s how these monsters are."

Little Black added, "So instead of waiting for that to happen, we should do something. Even if it sounds absurd."

As soon as he said that, they were quiet. These young men stared at each other and then at Little Black and his team. They had heard the tales of the wild beast husbands of Sunnie and also about the tales of them taking down enemies in the evil forest while surviving it, so they believed they could trust them.

Especially since they couldn’t just sit back and wait for their doom. They had to take their chances, at least.

Slowly, they nodded as they stared at Little Black and the rest, a smile slowly beaming on their faces as they said, "Okay, let’s do it."

"Please tell us what to do. We’ll do anything you say."

"We’re at your service completely."

As they said that, Little Black nodded as he said to them, "Thanks for trusting us. If we want a change, we’ll have to work for it." He turned to Sunnie and the rest. "Let’s make them pay."

And so they proceeded with their planning. Using everything they had, they made arrangements and strategic plans for taking down the predator beastmen and making them pay for what they had done. They were planning for their revenge—an epic revenge that would certainly be a tale told across tribes sooner or later.

After the careful planning, they proceeded to execute it it as soon as possible, making their way to the predator beastmen tribe.
