Chapter 231: Infiltrated
The neighbouring tribe was filled with predator beastmen from different species. There were lions and leopards, wolves and the likes—different beastmen living together in this tribe while having fun. It was a powerful tribe since they were mixtures of different powerful beastmen who came together to camp and live together in the area.
The atmosphere of the tribe was bustling and celebratory, with these beastmen sitting around and enjoying themselves with wines and laughter.
They didn’t seem to care about the destruction they were bringing or had brought to the minor tribes, which were already in ruin. Rather, they lived their lives as if nothing had happened, enjoying their drinks while eating and laughing.
That morning, a group of beastmen sat around in a huge circle, eating, drinking, and laughing while chatting about what had happened.
"At this rate, we’re going to wipe out those little bastards!" one laughed. "They dare think they could look down on us? It’s their fault for not handing us what we asked from them!"
"True! Now they should face the consequences of it!" They all laughed while they enjoyed their meal and drink.
"So how’s their land looking? Are they even still alive?" one asked, laughing.
Another shook his head and said, "The last time I went there, it was in complete ruin! So I doubt they have anything available to show off! Only a few are still alive."
They cheered with laughter as someone said, "Some are even still alive after that? Quite impressive! Next time we should go and clear them all off!"
They were loudly and happily discussing the fate of these minor beastmen as if they were nothing while enjoying themselves. As Sunnie arrived at the tribe, they were the first people she saw.
Sunnie had disguised herself as a female leopard, temporarily applying some ear changes to her hair and topping it with some color change to black. She had sneaked into the tribe with that disguise, along with some females who were returning from getting water.
While Sunnie made her way in with the other women, she couldn’t help but overhear these men shamelessly bragging about the damage they had brought upon the minor beastmen tribe. She felt disgusted.
But she held herself as she made her way through with these men. She wouldn’t strike now—at least not yet. So she kept her calm as she looked ahead to meet the eyes of another beastman.
Zayn had easily disguised himself as a tiger beastman of this tribe by changing his coloration while also making changes to his features. The two of them stared at each other with a slight nod while they walked past each other.
It was all part of their initial plan—disguising themselves and making their way into the tribe. All of them had successfully infiltrated the tribe in disguise, blending in with the appearances of the predator beastmen using disguises they had produced themselves and through the system.
The disguise lasted a whole three days. They blended in with the other beastmen as Karl and the other beast husbands sat around with most of the predator beastmen. They sat and ate with them while also gathering the required information.
Zukka and Little Black were also in their disguises, moving around the tribe while studying the place. It was part of their core plan—studying the environment to know how to strike first. They needed to know every location to know where to strike best and how to even take down these men. That was what these two mainly did, with the help of Sunnie’s beast husbands and Sunnie as well.
The minor beastmen who were working with Sunnie were in charge of importing everything they needed to take down these predator beastmen into the tribe. They tactfully brought everything into the tribe in disguise without anyone knowing. Having done so, Sunnie and the rest mounted them in different spaces while waiting for the show to take place.
They had done all they needed to know and studied all they needed. Now, it was the night of their third day here—and the night of their plan’s execution.
The event by the fireplace was being hosted that night, the perfect atmosphere for them to kick off their revenge plan.
---
That night, the people of this predator tribe were celebrating.
They had set a huge fire in the middle of the event, which illuminated the whole place while the men sat around the fire, eating and drinking while laughing mindlessly.
Some were moving around the fire, dancing and drinking mindlessly in celebration of their win and their upcoming attack to wipe out the minor tribes. They were planning their final strike to destroy everything in the minor tribe and expand their territory. This was them celebrating in advance.
The atmosphere was bustling and lively that night, with the fire shining bright through the scene. Everyone celebrated and danced along with some women, even though there were mainly beastmen here.
In their midst sat their tribe leader—a lion beastman who was also drinking and laughing while enjoying the atmosphere around him. They all felt on top of the world with everything unfolding.
The few other women were there serving them meals and drinks. Sunnie was one of them. She stared at these mindless beastmen eating and drinking the meal she and the others served them, and she didn’t know whether to simply stare or smile at their foolishness.
The drinks were specifically poisoned. At least not the type to instantly kill one at that moment. Sunnie and the rest figured that wouldn’t be fun enough. It would be handing them an easy death, which was the last thing they wanted.
It was just the type of poison that would make one lose their mind and strength at some point—one that would make one useless enough not to fight back while setting them up for the perfect destruction.
At least that was the drink all these mindless men were happily drinking.
