Chapter 271: Strike
Sunnie was soon summoned by the tiger beastmen. As soon as she sat down opposite him, the tiger beastman stared at her.
"He summoned you?" He demanded, because he had summoned the female earlier but was told that she was with someone else—the eagle.
Sunnie nodded. "Yes. He did."
"What did you two talk about?" The tiger asked. "What does he want this time around? What is that cunning eagle up to?"
Sunnie hesitated with a smile. Her plan was working. She was certainly headed in the right direction. "Before I answer that... you need to give me some confirmation."
The tiger stared at her. "What confirmation?"
She smiled. "Do you believe what I told you? Have you seen that your so-called partner is not to be trusted?"
The tiger was quiet. He didn’t say anything, but it was clear that he had also made that realization.
"Does that matter?" He questioned. "Just speak up... what did you two talk about?"
Sunnie leaned back with a smile. She had already gotten what she wanted, and she was sure that the tiger had fallen into her trap.
She had planned it all smoothly, and the two had fallen into it. Now, she believed it was time to strike.
"What he wanted was pretty easy and direct," she said, staring at him. "The eagle believes that you’re up to no good and might actually find out about his plan soon."
"So...?" The tiger asked.
Sunnie hesitated before she spoke. "So he wants to strike first."
The tiger hesitated with a frown. He understood what that meant, and he was rather speechless. "That ungrateful bastard... so he wants to take it all out."
He sighed as he closed his eyes. He opened them and then stared at Sunnie. "What exactly is his plan? Tell me right now what their plan is."
"And what do you want to do? Counterattack it?" She asked.
But the tiger had a firm expression as he leaned closer, glaring at her. "You better speak now if you want me to keep my end of the deal. Then you’ll have to speak whenever I ask."
Sunnie hesitated with a nod as she said, "Okay... I’ll tell you the details. Every detail of their plan I know, I’ll tell you."
And so Sunnie began spilling false information to him—information she had made up, one that she had never even discussed with the eagle at all.
It was all part of her plan now. As her plan was getting to its climax, she was set to set everything in flames.
When she was done speaking, she smiled as she stared at him. "I’ve done all I can do. I’ve helped you as much as I can... now it’s up to you to do your part. It’s up to you to handle it."
The tiger was quiet as he stared at her. His mind drifted through the details she had told him. He couldn’t possibly help but gag over it.
"Okay..." He finally said, staring at her. "Okay."

Sunnie had requested to meet the eagle beastman in private, and he had finally agreed to meeting her.
It was all part of Sunnie’s plan.
As soon as Sunnie met him in his room, she quickly rushed down to her knees before the eagle lord, panting. Sunnie was acting like someone who was scared—someone who was being chased after.
The eagle stared down at her. "What is it now?"
Sunnie shivered in fear as she stared up at him, panicking. "I... I think he knows... I think he is suspecting me now."
"What do you mean by that?" The eagle questioned.
Sunnie hesitated, panicking before she said, "You know I’ve been spying on the tiger for you—acting as though I’m on his side to get some information for you as you requested... but..."
She hesitated, shivering like someone who was being haunted as she added, "But I think he suspects something already. From the way he acts, the way his men stare at me and even follow me around... I think he’s up to something. I think he might actually know that I’m working for you and... he’s after me now."
The eagle lord was quiet as he stared at her for a while without saying anything. It was clear that he had bought what she was saying.
He believed it. "That cunning tiger... that was fast from him." He sighed as he stared down at her, thinking of what to do.
"So what do you want me to do?" He asked her.
"Please..." she said, staring up at him. "Save me." Sunnie had a pitiful expression as she pleaded. "Save me from him. He’s going to come after me and my people when the time comes. So please save us—at least take us from the prison and keep us somewhere safe for the meantime."
She added, "Just take us out of there for the time being so he doesn’t come for us." She shivered as she spoke.
The eagle was quiet, standing there and staring at her without saying a word. He was thinking it through.
"And what do I gain from doing that?" He finally asked.
She stared at him while saying, "We made a deal, and this is part of it. I’ve helped you all this time with all the information... so at least keep us safe as you promised."
"Besides," she added, "if you don’t keep us safe... how would you know about the plan they’re making against you? And how and when to act against it?" She questioned.
She had trapped him. The eagle sat there, staring at her without much words.
After a while, he finally sighed as he said, "Okay... I’ll have my men take you guys out of prison and to a safer place."
She smiled with a bow as she said, "Thanks."
"But under one condition," he explained as Sunnie stared at him.
The eagle added, "Tell me their plan in detail and how they plan to act."
Sunnie smiled as she explained, "With pleasure." And so she began spilling false information as well, explaining what she had gotten from the tiger and when they planned to act against them.
After she was done speaking, Sunnie said, "If I were to humbly recommend... I’d tell you to act tomorrow night. That would be the best time to act and take everything. Because if you can see, they’re already working."
She added, "The food is already reducing. They’re already taking the food little by little under your nose. If you still don’t act, you’ll lose everything and also be taken down."
She ended with a noble bow as she added, "But that’s just my noble suggestion. You can choose to ignore."
But she had already gotten the eagle curious. The eagle sat there staring at her without much words. He was already pulled in, and without hesitation, he said, "Go back. I’ll get someone to take you guys out of prison. They’ll take you to a safe place where no one can find you."
Sunnie nodded with a smile. "Thanks for being considerate. I appreciate it."
The eagle turned to one of his men and then said, "And... get me my best men," he said. "All of them."
While Sunnie was being sent out, she simply smiled because she had known what she wanted was happening.
Her plan was falling into place. She had pitted these two against each other, and now they were going all out to destroy themselves while she sat and enjoyed the fun of it.

While they took her out, the men of the eagle lord made their way into the room where he was. They knelt down, waiting for his orders.
The eagle stared down at them as he said, "Get ready, you all. We’re about to take down some pests in our midst."
The eagle men listened as he gave them detailed instructions of what was coming ahead and how they were going to plan for it.
He explained to them what they needed to do and how they needed to do it. They planned it all in detail. After they were done with the plan, he told them, "Now go and take your places. And get ready to strike."
They nodded obediently and set off.
While they left, the eagle tribe lord was left with one of his most trusted men.
The eagle lord was quiet for a while, watching his other men leave before he slowly turned and stared at his most trusted man.
"I want you to take them out of prison by tomorrow evening while we get ready to strike," he explained.
His man nodded in obedience. "To somewhere safe?" He asked.
But the eagle tribe lord smiled as he said, "Somewhere safe? And why would I do that?" He sighed as he stared into thin air. "I’ve already made use of them to the best I can. She’s of no particular use to me anymore... so it’s time to eliminate them."
He stared at him as he said, "Take them somewhere tomorrow and kill all of them off immediately. She’ll be a hassle in the future if she’s kept alive."
The man simply nodded in obedience. "Okay... I’ll do just that."
