Chapter 116: Quick Farming.
They headed back and rested for the day. Sunnie had prepared some decent meals for them all. She had realized that they were slowly running out of ingredients—they were running out of the gifts they had received from the lion tribe and also the ones from Sunnie’s mini store.
Sunnie couldn’t rely on purchasing these from her system; she would run out of coins if she did. And they possibly couldn’t rely on it forever.
So she knew the land was the best option. Luckily, they had found land; now they had to proceed.

[Tribe Building System: Farming Task]
[Step 2: Clear the land]
Sunnie and her companions set off the next day. Little Maren was awake, so she insisted on going with them. She cried when Sunnie didn’t agree. But Sunnie had given her some sleeping medication through her meal, which she had gotten from the system, and Maren slept off.
Elza took care of her while Sunnie and the rest left to begin clearing the land.
When they arrived, they stared at the scene for a while.
"So how do we begin clearing it?" Little Black inquired.
Sunnie stared at her system tab, which had just opened.

Sunnie stared at the equipment available. There were some for clearing, like the cutlass, and some for planting and all—varieties of equipment.
While she went through them to see which would be perfect to begin work with, she heard some sounds.
Sunnie paused what she was doing and looked ahead. She saw Luka in the land, clearing everything effortlessly with his claws.
He was efficient—a little too efficient. His claws combed through the mild weeds, clearing them like a lawnmower. So effortless that Sunnie was basically impressed.
In less than thirty minutes, he was done. He had already cleared everything and immediately looked up at Azure, who was standing there with both arms folded and a smile on his face.
"Hey, Azure! You said there were magic fruits inside here. Where are they?" he asked.
Azure blinked with a shrug. "Well, maybe they disappeared?" He had told Luka that there were magic fruits in the land, and with that, Luka had rushed to clear the land in search of them.
He was efficient with this stuff—brushing through the land and sending those weeds to their death. And it was only after he was done that he realized it was a prank.
Eris burst into laughter. "I can’t believe you’re still falling for his tricks after all these years." He kept laughing. "Why would there be magical fruits in some abandoned land?"
Luka scoffed, folding his arms. "I’m so going to get back at you!"
Azure flashed a smile as Luka rolled his eyes, folding his arms. "Humph!"
Sunnie stared at the land that was easily cleared as she smiled. "Well, look on the bright side—the land is cleared."
"That was the point. I knew Luka would do an excellent job," Azure smiled.
Luka rolled his eyes.
Sunnie smiled. "Don’t worry, I’ve got the perfect reward for you for a job well done."
Sunnie bought a fruit basket from her system—one containing huge, shining fruits like apples, bananas, oranges, and the like. All looking plump, healthy, yummy, and attractive.
She brought it from behind and handed it to Luka. "Here, a gift for your hard work."
Immediately, Luka’s face flashed into a thousand smiles. His eyes lit up as he stared at the basket of fruits, which looked like a heavenly sight to him.
He quickly rushed toward the fruit basket and stared through it. "This! How... Wow!" He was speechless. "Can I really have it?"
Sunnie smiled with a nod, staring at him. "Sure. It’s all yours, after all."
He didn’t hesitate. He took the basket, picked up an apple, and took a bite. His eyes flashed in excitement as the unique taste of the apple ran through his mind.
He smiled as he took another fruit and ate happily.
Sunnie smiled, watching him enjoy the fruit.

Sunnie stared at the current percentage. She couldn’t help but figure that this was the percentage required to be able to make cubs with him.
She swallowed and blinked, thinking about Luka and her doing it.
In no time, Luka was already done with the fruits and handed her the basket. He flashed her a smile. "Thanks for the amazing gift! I owe you one for it!"
Sunnie smiled with a nod. "Don’t mention it at all."
They were done with clearing the land, and the system notification popped up.
[Step three: Plant the seeds]
Sunnie knew it was about time. So she and the rest had spread out to look for something suitable to plant.
They had spent hours looking for something but could only gather some low-quality seeds from destroyed spaces that didn’t seem to offer any help.
They looked so bad that Sunnie doubted they would even grow at all. But she had no choice. She had to use the ones that were decent enough. She purchased more seeds from the system store.
A total of 5,000 heart coins!
Sunnie guessed it was worth spending since she was investing it in something that would help them a long way.
So she didn’t think twice. She purchased the seeds and planted them into the land. Her husbands didn’t know how to plant, so they stood by.
Azure wanted to help. "You shouldn’t work. I’ll do it!" he insisted.
But he had basically sprayed the seeds over the land in his first attempt. Sunnie had taken them and urged them to sit at the corner like kids and just watch and learn. And they did.
The men watched as Sunnie, Zuna, and Little Black planted the crops they had gathered into the land. They were somewhat experienced, especially Zuna, who led the way, and so they spread them out into the land and planted them.
After they were done, they watered them nicely and watched them with a smile.
"That should do," Sunnie smiled, content, as they left for home. They would come back to check on its progress later.
