Chapter 202: Dare You.
"Let me go!" he cried, but Luka held him tightly while glaring down at him.
"How dare a pathetic rabbit like you think you could harm my mate? I see you wish to die!" He twisted it until the rabbit cried out loud in pain, then threw him away, sending him crashing to the floor.
Sunnie’s mother rushed to check on her brother as the tribe leader stared at Sunnie. "You... So ungrateful! You’re looking down on your own tribe now!"
"I’ll do worse than that if you guys don’t leave my presence now," she snapped coldly at them, leaving them all speechless. They thought she would happily accept them with open arms if they came; they didn’t expect this version of her.
The bear tribe leader on the other side scoffed as he stared at Luka. "Look at who is showing off now! Isn’t this the same person who lost to us back then? What is there to be proud of? You’re a loser!"
The bear tribe laughed hard at them as Luka turned and glared at them. "That’s good... you guys won, congratulations. But what now? Why are you here begging for food if you won so much?"

The bear tribe were speechless at the clapback given to them. They didn’t have any response as Eris smiled.
"Pathetic indeed. I heard they didn’t win any food at all. And that all they got was a pile of rocks and weeds," Eris laughed.
The bear tribe stared in shame and fury as one of them snapped, "I believe you guys are the ones behind that! You stole our stuff and left that with us!"
The tribe leader agreed. "Yes. We’re certain of it. You monsters are capable of doing such a thing! So stop faking it! And because of that, we’re here to take back what belongs to us. Hand us our meal!"
Sunnie glared at them. "Do you have any proof that we did it?"
"...." They were quiet. They didn’t have any words.
"We don’t need proof! We’ll just take what belongs to us!" the tribe leader snapped.
But Sunnie smiled. "You could try. And let’s see what happens. Let’s see who will end up dead at the end of the day." She threatened them as they all paused. They had heard about the wild beasts attacking, so no one dared approach for the time being.
The mer people stared as their leader said, "Let’s not talk too much now. You guys should let us have some foodstuff. We’re already dying of hunger here and we need some. So just put everything aside and share some with us!"
He turned to Azure, who was standing there quietly, and said, "Okay? Azure! We’re family after all, so just share some with us!"
Azure was expressionless—cold and neutral as he stared at them without saying anything.
"You ungrateful bastard!" one of the mer men said. "You’re not speaking to us anymore, huh?"
Sunnie rolled her eyes as she said, "So noisy." She stared at the people before them. "I’ve already had enough of you all here. So just make your way out before I get pissed."
"You!" the rabbit tribe leader snapped.
The mice people approached closer as they stared at Elza and the rest. "Hey, don’t forget the kindness we gave to you guys! Don’t be ungrateful and share something with us. It’s not even much; we just need some to survive through these harsh moments!"
Sunnie’s mother stared at her as she said, "Look, we’re family! And no matter what happens, we’re still family. So just forget about everything that happened in the past and share some with us. At least with us alone, who are your family. So spare some for us!"
"You ungrateful bitch! Share something with us!" her brother snapped.
Now the crowd was getting loud. They were all speaking at the same time, snapping at Sunnie and the rest while demanding that they give them some food. The bear tribe had begun threatening to take them all down if they didn’t listen.
But Sunnie still had her calm and cold expression with restrained emotions. She stared at them with a casual smile while she murmured, "What a joke."
She said as she simply whistled loudly. Immediately, everyone heard a loud growl from the bushes.
Everyone paused. There was immense silence as they all slowly turned, staring into the woods to see what was happening.
"Don’t tell me she’s calling those monsters on us?!" one of them said.
"I think she is... I just heard the growl of one of those beasts," another confirmed as they slowly stepped backward in fear.
They stared at Sunnie and the others. "How dare you try to eliminate us like that?" her brother asked. "You ungrateful bitch! Are you trying to kill us off like that?!"
"How vicious of you! You can’t do this to us! We’re part of your family, and you can’t change that no matter how hard you try!" her mother snapped.
Sunnie smiled. "I’m not trying to change anything, and I’m not even going to try. I’m just driving some dirt off our land."
Sunnie had both hands behind her as she said, "I’ll count to three to give you all the opportunity to leave this place instantly and never come back. If by the end of the countdown you’re still here, then don’t blame me for whatever happens."
Sunnie said as she immediately began the countdown.
While she counted, they all panicked as they started stepping backward.
"Hey! What are you doing?! You vicious monster!"
"How can she do this to us! She’s driving us away now?!"
"I can’t believe my eyes! You pathetic being!"
They all cursed at them. But Sunnie didn’t even bother. She continued counting down until she was getting closer to the last digit.
No one dared to stay. Immediately, they all turned and began running away. They didn’t wish to wait for the wild beasts to come and get them. They simply ran off for their lives.
And before long, the place was empty of them.
