Chapter 240: Two Little Ones.
As she announced that, Eris smiled as he stared at the little boy in his arms. "Lune... Lune..." He repeated with a smile as he said, "You hear that, little one?" He said, playing with his tiny fingers. "You have a name now. And it’s Lune. So open your eyes and thank Mama for the name."
The little one still had his eyes shut, sleeping soundly while muttering some tiny noises. The two of them stared in adoration with a smile.
Sunnie shook her head. "Let him rest. He must be really tired from coming out." Sunnie teased as the two of them smiled.
They stared at the little girl for a while and then at the boy, admiring them from all aspects while Eris found himself growing more and more proud and happy.
Then he held Sunnie’s hand and smiled at her. "Thanks for bearing my cubs. I promise to take good care of you."
Sunnie smiled as she stared at him. "I’m also happy to be able to bear your cubs as well."
The two stared at each other with a smile as Eris leaned closer and pressed a soft kiss against her lips, then said, "You look so tired... you should get some rest now. Okay? I’ll take care of the cubs alone."
"Don’t worry, I’ll take good care of the two of them! I’m capable!" Eris said firmly.
Sunnie smiled. "I think you should also call the women to help take care of them. They’re still little, you know."
Eris smiled as he nodded. "Okay, then. I’ll have them help as well."
Sunnie smiled as she shook her head. Soon, the women walked into the room themselves.
"Okay, you should let the lady get some rest now. Okay?" Elza teased as she came and carried the orange fox from Sunnie’s arms. "You should get some sleep."
Sunnie smiled with a nod as she watched Eris get up to his feet with the little one in his arms. They didn’t take him from him but allowed him to carry him.
"Now get some rest. Okay?" They smiled as Sunnie nodded. And so they left Sunnie to get some rest while they took the cubs out for everyone to see and welcome.
While they left, Sunnie slowly sighed as she closed her eyes. She was extremely exhausted after the delivery and felt like sleeping for ages. She could feel her whole body sore as she slowly calmed herself down to sleep.

The twin cubs were kept in a room, wrapped warmly in thick animal skin clothing after being cleaned up carefully by Elza and the other women.
They kept the cubs there as they allowed people to come in and see them. But not all at once—everyone came in batches of five to ten. They came in and stared at the little ones in admiration while smiling and playing with their fingers.
Sunnie’s beast husbands gathered, staring at the little ones who lay there.
"So they’re twins?" Luka blinked while running his fingers at the orange fox, who was actively stretching out her hands to catch the fingers that were playing around her.
The little girl was actively smiling, reaching out her hands and playing, while the red fox lay there staring at them. Lune did nothing but stare at them quietly without even doing anything. He stared at them like someone who was scared while also blinking from time to time.
"He looks so scared," Little Black pointed out to Lune. "Maybe he’s tired or something?"
"Probably because you’re talking too much, so he’s scared," Zukka teased.
"No, I’m not," Little Black snapped.
Maren and Ronan leaned closer, their eyes big with excitement as they stared at the little ones lying there and staring at them.
"Oh, they look so tiny and adorable! I can’t believe I get another pair of siblings! Such a happy event!" Maren was excited as she stretched out to Luna. Luna happily held Maren’s hands with a smile.
"She held my fingers!" Maren said happily, as if she was announcing groundbreaking information. She smiled as she stared at Luna. "I’m so happy to have a little sister now! I’m going to take care of her, and I’ll make sure I keep her away from Ronan! Ronan will not take good care of her!"
"Hey! I’ll play with her too. Don’t keep her away from me," Ronan protested.
"You’ll certainly take her to play at dirty places and all. I can’t let my little sister get all dirty and rough!" She snapped.
"I’m not dirty and rough!" Ronan protested as the two of them set off in another bickering while everyone stared at them with a smile, shaking their heads.
